This is absolutely the best place to come if you have your dog with you and you want to eat and…read moredrink and play pool I still have your baby with you. We happen to have ordered food from across the street and it started raining and the owner of the three legged dog told us that it's we bought a beverage. Just bring your food inside and your dogs as well. My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it. What a fabulous business this is the way to go. Drinks were fantastic and the fact that I could taste different beers at a time or pour a whole glass either way, it's pretty self service and delicious. So try it. I recommend it. And so you know the ambience is so casual and open and fresh come to relax and play some video games or a game of pool with your best friend

My husband and I stopped in while visiting for the weekend during Walleye Fest because we wanted to…read moretry a new spot. Unfortunately, the experience was awful from start to finish. We spoke with a male bartender who explained the "you pour" tap system in a pretty condescending way. We'd never been there before, so we were genuinely trying to understand how it worked. The system charges by the ounce depending on the beer/cocktail selected. My husband poured himself a 10oz beer from the clearly marked $.25/oz tap. When our total came out to almost $10 for that beer alone, we knew something was wrong because the tap directly next to it was $.90/oz. I went to the bar to politely ask about the charge and was met by the same bartender. He repeatedly assured me that I was wrong and that the charge was correct. I even offered to physically show him the tap that had been used. Again, he insisted I was mistaken and claimed the system was accurate. After going back and forth, I finally asked him, "Okay, then how much SHOULD a 10oz beer from that tap cost?" He checked the POS system and suddenly admitted: "Oh, you were charged wrong." Not once during this interaction did he apologize. Instead of simply saying, "I'm sorry, let me fix that," he spent several minutes confidently telling me I didn't know what I was talking about when I was actually correct the entire time. As someone who has worked in the service industry for years, that level of arrogance and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, it's the attitude and complete refusal to acknowledge the mistake that ruined the experience. We immediately cashed out and left. Buyer beware: pay VERY close attention to what the taps are charging you because the pricing system is clearly inaccurate. The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the live band was excellent. Safe to say we will not be returning.

It was such a pleasure seeing Charlie Mars here. It's an intimate setting and I don't think there…read moreare any bad seats. This is the best kind of live show. The sound was great, and we were pretty close to the stage. They do let "members" in 5 minutes early, but even with our delayed entrance we had close seats. The gentleman I assume is the owner did a short introduction after telling us about future shows, and he chatted with the crowd after Charlie ended his show. It was all very cozy and I would come back for another show. There is a 2-drink minimum and the selection, while small, is fine. We were also told to ask for anything we didn't see. They also offer chips or pretzels as a snack during the show. After the show, Charlie did a meet and greet in the lobby. It's always a treat to tell the artist how much you enjoyed his show. :-) We got a great deal on a room for the night that included the ticket cost. Our room was on the main floor. We really enjoyed our stay.

We traveled for a show here on Halloween. We had a long drive so we made sure to arrive early as…read morethe venue is general admission seating. We were kind of thrown off by the venue. It's actually inside of a hotel and is easy to miss if you don't know the area. We also had a difficult time figuring out where to park. To get into the venue you have to walk into a hotel lobby and check in. We were amongst the first to check in because it was important for us to sit up front. The way they had the seats put out were in rows and the front row had maybe about 8-10 spots. It's a small venue so most of the seats are good but I'm super picky about where I sit. I was happy the venue did not choose to shove a million openers at us. We only had to deal with one and the headliner came on promptly after. In order to use the restroom you had to exit the venue and go into the lobby. The acoustics sounded great and we were happy with the show. What made me deduct one star was their obnoxious 2 drink minimum policy. Neither of us drink so we were pretty annoyed that the waitress kept coming up to us and pressuring us to order drinks. She even interrupted the performance to take our order. Since neither of us drink one of us got a cup of plain hot water and I ordered a mudslide that I only took one sip of. It hurt paying $20 for something we did not drink so please beware of us. We were grateful that the drinks were not more expensive than $10 each at least. The hotel looked very cute and we were sorry we were not staying there. The owners seemed like lovely people and we did not come across one grouchy employee.
