    This surveyer is the original surveyer of a property we are buying. The sellers of the home added a…read moresmall square area off the back of the home requiring a minor update to the survey. We inquired through our realtor to see if they could come do a quick update for a reasonable fee. They refused saying it would need to be new survey which is completely fine but they quoted us a bid three times the average of 3 other surveying companies. We politely told them we'd be going with another company. They responded very rudely after we showed them the other bid and they made a snide remark saying the other company must not be good and is going out of business. Ironically, the other company was more reputable than them and had a long standing great record. It was odd that this company felt the need to trash another company while charging 3x the going rate for the same job. They are expensive, rude, and not easy to deal with. We tried contacting them a total of 3 times before we got a call back. Save yourself the trouble and use a different surveyer. We will be sending their statement about the other company to that company. I would want to know if someone was unrighteously tearing down my company's reputation falsely. We have screen shots for our records.

His pricing…read morewas far higher than several other companies in the area, so we politely declined and chose to move forward elsewhere. Instead of responding professionally, he became rude, defensive, and disrespectful. If this is how he treats potential clients simply for choosing another company, I'd question how he conducts business in general. You don't build a good reputation by insulting competitors or behaving poorly toward people who decide not to hire you. I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere for surveying services.

Wow, seems more important for your company to respond on a YELP rating than just servicing a proper request. I first called and explained who I am, what I needed and why. Sent email request as directed the first time, got your reply receipt, waited a FULL WEEK to call again to be asked to SEND ANOTHER REQUEST, then was put through to THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL person who apparently is ONE IN AUTHORITY to get further delayed? Your Policy? Why didn't say that the first call? This is a ROUTINE REQUEST we do with dozens of SURVEYING companies all the time. As soon as I presented it in my informal hearing…read moreready to discuss it- I was immediately told they would not be able to review or discuss the report. New HCAD policy is to take accept all Jubally reports in the informal hearing as evidence and sends homeowner to the Formal Hearing process. Having done gone to the Formal Hearing myself the previous year 2020- with my own presentation using sales and comparable data from a licensed realtor, various appraisal info for my neighborhood and photos of sold comparisons- I know the formal hearing is a lost cause for most. The hearing officials wouldn't even look up from the table while I was presenting and asked zero questions nor answers mine. Their summary judgment of "denied" is memorized. However, after setting the Jubally report aside I was able to ask lots of questions regarding some things regarding my house that resulted in a reduction no thanks to the Jubally report. Save your money and hire a service that does the protest and attends hearing for you.

    UPDATE 5/16/2023: They got back to me to let me know that they had a bug in the system. They…read morerefunded my payment. Mistakes happen, but they dealt with the issue in a fair way, so I am updating my review to acknowledge their superior customer service. 5/4/2023: They increased the indicative value of my property by 42K right after I purchased their report. You are able to input your property address and get a value before your purchase the report. As soon as I purchased the report, the value in report came to 42K higher! That amounts to roughly $1K more in property tax than I expected to defend based on Jubally's property analysis.
