When i refused, he tried to charge me $70, half an hour of diagnostics, for checking 2 of my fluids (oil & transmission fluid) without performing the diagnostic on my transmission, i was there to get a transmission diagnostics. In addition, got mad and hung up in my face because i chose to take it elsewhere. Horrible experience, I highly DO NOT recommend. The new shop I took it to informed me that my battery that was already in the jeep was under warranty and I can switch it out if I want or he can get me a better battery (same battery that Risters tried to charge me $480 for), for $250.

When we searched tire repair in the area we were four miles away from Aljets and decided to stop and see if they could help us. The staff was exceedingly friendly, informative, and quick. They immediately took our truck back and within 45 minutes had found a very small hole in the tire, patched it, and had us back on the road. On top of that they did not overcharge us or charge a fee for getting us in so quickly. We couldn't be more grateful knowing we're safe to continue our drive, and still going to get to our destination in time for our appointments. I went to 3 other local shops for a quote and no one took care of me the way Freer did. Called the insurance of the person who hit me to get me answers, helped adjust my bumper before I left their lot to make it a bit better for me to drive (without me even asking, might I add). They used Carwise which texted me updates on timeline and estimates. Called me and coordinated with insurance/rental car like no other. My repair ended up taking about a week longer than expected. More damage was found but it was clearly communicated to me that it was possible, and they gave me an update each step. They even had an after hours pick up which worked perfect for my schedule. Left me a card and a beautiful rose (such as kind touch). My car was clean and shiny on the outside (sad it won't last long due to all the snow and salt) with the inside vacuumed and smelling great! Luckily, Brett and Scott from Hamel Sales happened to be there towing another car and offered to help. They quickly determined that it was my starter that would need to be replaced. I was lucky in that my family was able to pick me up and I could stay in STL for the night. Hamel Sales called me early the next day to inform me of what they needed to do, cost, and timing. They were very communicative and nice. No one loves to spend $$$ on getting their car repaired but it eased the blow to do it here. They were really kind and helpful.
