Two years ago I took my vehicle here because the "check engine" light was on. Took it there because…read morethey used to do emissions testing and I was confident they could take care of the problem. I had to return 2 times because the light kept coming on. After spending $1700.00, I quickly took it to get tested. Two weeks later the light came back. Fast forward to today, time to get it tested again. I went to another shop. Current shop owner asked if I had a shade tree mechanic or took it to a shop last time. I went to 3 other local shops for a quote and no one took care of me the way Freer did. Called the insurance of the person who hit me to get me answers, helped adjust my bumper before I left their lot to make it a bit better for me to drive (without me even asking, might I add). They used Carwise which texted me updates on timeline and estimates. Called me and coordinated with insurance/rental car like no other. My repair ended up taking about a week longer than expected. More damage was found but it was clearly communicated to me that it was possible, and they gave me an update each step. They even had an after hours pick up which worked perfect for my schedule. Left me a card and a beautiful rose (such as kind touch). My car was clean and shiny on the outside (sad it won't last long due to all the snow and salt) with the inside vacuumed and smelling great! Truly can't recommend Freer enough. Kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and truly excellent service. I will trust Freer with all auto body repairs going forward!

He tried to charge me $480 for a battery for my jeep wrangler which didn't include installation. When i refused, he tried to charge me $70, half an hour of diagnostics, for checking 2 of my fluids (oil & transmission fluid) without performing the diagnostic on my transmission, i was there to get a transmission diagnostics. In addition, got mad and hung up in my face because i chose to take it elsewhere. Horrible experience, I highly DO NOT recommend. The new shop I took it to informed me that my battery that was already in the jeep was under warranty and I can switch it out if I want or he can get me a better battery (same battery that Risters tried to charge me $480 for), for $250.

Telle Tire Corporate (district manager) said I would be reimbursed and subsequently is ignoring my emails. I have receipts and will escalate further. Completely unacceptable. Extremely rude and unprofessional- this is not how customer complains are handled.
