I test drove a car with the salesman riding with me. The car drove terrible with engine light coming on and lots of shaking and jarring. The salesman calls me a few days later saying that their service department checked over the vehicle and there is nothing wrong with it. Then he offered to lower the price by $1000. I said it needed about $1500 in repair. The salesman kept calling the rest of that week. I would never buy a car here. read more

I have a diesel truck and I went to Midwest Petroleum in Woodriver IL. Don't ever go there for their fuel or DEF Fluid. The nizzle for DEF was spitting diesel fluid. It got in my emission system and messed up a few parts. So I went to Quality Buick and they took care of everything and worked with me on payment. From front to back in service, it was a great experience. Those guys are great and they take care of you and your automobile. I wouldn't trust my truck to anyone else now. I had a sales person message me on Facebook marketplace telling me we will pay top dollar for your car and 100% won't low ball you. After explaining its quite a drive for me to make it out there they insured it would be worth it. Once I got out there they reviewed the vehicle and told me the best they could give me was 12k on a 21k list price. The vehicle was priced accordingly to current market. Due to the fact the bank wouldn't loan on a older car. Knowing that prior to even making the trip they should of been more clear and diligent of my time. I will say the manager was very nice and got the estimate done quickly. But as for the anything too get you into the door not a very hospitable place to do business. Would recommend you go somewhere With your time. read more

I purchased my vehicle from here several months ago, the vehicle is fine, but dealing with the people who work at this business is ridiculous. Because of my profession, I work very closely with different types of vehicles, and know my way around cars. However, even though I was the one purchasing the vehicle, contacted the dealership and set up the appointment for MYSELF, the staff continually addressed my male partner about different loans, aspects of the car, and other vehicles being offered even though I was the one purchasing a vehicle and already had a loan set up. They refused to acknowledge this, and still tried to talk to my partner even though he wasn't responding to them and was looking at me. They also kept pushing for him to co-sign on the car with me even though my credit score is higher than his, and I didn't need a co-signer at all. It was incredibly disrespectful especially when I was patient through the entire process and they continually disregarded me. read more

The Service Manager, Antonio, went above and beyond to help me get reimbursed for a repair done elsewhere that would have been covered by a recall. I casually asked him about power steering fluid and he came out to the car, checked it, and filled it up. No charge. I wouldn't hesitate to have repairs done here. read more

This is probably one of the worst car searching experiences that I have ever had. I typically steer clear of large dealerships, but they had the vehicle I wanted and so I thought I would stop in for a test drive. The first experience happened about two months ago. I went for a test drive in a newer used vehicle (not one of their brands) and the sales man didn't seem to know a lot of the questions I had. But I let that slide. I showed interest in making a deal on this particular vehicle but the finance manager was gone for the evening. In the meantime, we discussed a few prices, he showed me the Car Guru paperwork, etc. He said the car wouldn't be there much longer so let's try to work this out. My offer was not outrageously low, merely a starting point. I took the salesman's business card and went on my way. He assured me he would call me by 10am the next morning. I never heard back. I assumed it wasn't meant to be. Flash forward to present day, the vehicle still sits there on the lot. hmmmm. Now, they have a year newer of the vehicle of interest. I gathered all the information necessary, what it should be listed at, what they are selling it for, the accident report, etc. I took it for a test drive, loved the vehicle and how it drove. All the bells and whistles I was looking for in a vehicle. We go to sit down and talk, and I bring up the fact that they say on the website the vehicle has had one accident. False. I found it prior to the appointment, there were two accidents. There is a rather large scratch down the side of the vehicle, not to mention many extremely noticeable paint chip spots. Fine, used car, no biggie. Fix the scratch at least. When I explained why I was offering what I was offering on a vehicle they have priced $1400+ over what it actually retails at, they basically laugh in my face and tell me "maybe this isn't the vehicle for you". Did I mention this was not the salesman who said that, it was the manager. I'm not here to waste anyone's time, I was there to purchase a vehicle. I can't stress enough how many different times I brought this up. Their lack of respect for women really shined through in this last experience. I gathered they did not want my business because I found some flaws on the vehicle and the fact they did not disclose the additional accident. The manager tells me maybe I should look into a new car or go back and look at the year older. Needless to say, they did not and will not ever get my business. I will not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service skills really need some tweaking. In case you were wondering what kind of deal they offered me, $200 off their already high price of $20,xxx. What a joke. read more

I found a truck on line and when I went to look at it they added $2,000 to the price. They added all the accessories that were on the truck that were already on the truck when they priced it . That's like saying here's my truck for sale it's $1000, but I'll have to charge you extra for the tires and the windshield and if you want brakes that will be extra too. It sounds like a bad joke but it's not, I have the paperwork. read more

There are no longer any Cadillac dealerships in North St. Louis County. We have been to Quality in Alton, IL twice this year. They are polite and do good work at a fair price. David was our service professional. He patiently answered our questions when we took both automobiles in on the same day. The restroom was clean. I dropped off my car to get the rear latch fixed. My loaner car was pulled into the garage (it was snowing), warmed up and the windshield was cleaned for me. Just bought a used 2013 Ford Fusion Energi car about a week ago, Everyone there is very nice and courteous. Dennis the salesperson wasn't pushy and willing to go the extra mile. I can tell Chad in finance has been doing his job for a while because the transition of the paperwork only took about 15 minutes to complete. I bought cars from other dealerships before and they all took at least a couple of hours to do the paperwork. I have gotten service work done from this dealership and I will say Terry,Angelo and Russ are very efficient getting you in and out in a timely manner. I did have a check engine light come on 4 days after I bought the car and I immediately took it back in to them. I was told i needed to take it to the Ford dealership for service as they didn't have the technology to service a Electric/Hybrid vehicle. That left me a little irritated at first when i left there but after thinking about it, I understand the car would be better serviced at the Ford dealership. Im so used to great service at the Quality Pontiac dealership so when i got to the Ford dealership in Alton later that day, They told me i had to wait 7 days to read my Check engine light code?? Maybe i should have bought a Chevy Volt? read more
