Oh my god..I wasn't expecting this place to be THIS AMAZING. To the food, drinks, and vibe of this small little gem. I was rocked to my core. The beignets are fresh, soft, and delicious. Exactly what I wanted. We didn't even need a fork to eat the it was PHENOMENAL. We got the pumpkin biscoff, regular, and Nutella beignets and they all were so delicious. The pumpkin biscoff was AMAZING, not too sweet and it was a very well balanced sweetness and amazing. I've had beignets in New Orleans, and other places but these by far are the best. Overall it was delicious and the perfect experience. Service was friendly and did a good job to make sure our experience was a good one. The Nutella beignets took you to another place it was so soft and delicious with just the right amount of Nutella. For a drink I got the Nutella iced latte and it was the BOMB it was so amazing and I couldn't ask for anything else. Best coffee hands down, Starbucks better watch out. There is a large greenery feature wall/panel at the front of the café with the café logo in neon attached. Perfect for your instagram photo marking the occasion of your visit. There is plenty of parking as this café is located in a strip shopping center with plenty of other shops, including Market Square Liquors, REI and Southern Seafood. We stopping in for their signature beignets and coffee. The mornings are a busy time for this spot as plenty of people are getting their morning fixe! We ordered the classic quartet of beignets - fried fresh and topped with powdered sugar. Plenty to split between two people for a quick breakfast. The coffee was good also! This was the cutest little spot to cowork! They have a vast menu of drinks whether coffee, chai, smoothies or something with bubbles ... there is something for everyone and every taste bud. Now let's get to the beignets ... they are amazing! Dare I say better than any I've ever had in Nola. I also had the pineapple paradise smoothie and it was good. It was freezing inside but thankfully they have outside seating where I was able to warm up. The atmosphere is super cute. Wow I really wish we'd come here first! I was full from dinner, but I would have skipped dinner and gotten stuffed on beignets and martinis if I'd realized this place had mixed drinks, and some damn good beignets.. Decided to stop in at Beignets & Brew. The menu was more limited than I expected, but it does say what they have in the name! Haha The customer service was good. I couldn't decide between the cinnamon sugar and traditional beignets, so he gave me a traditional one to try with the others. The pastry was warm and soft and really tasty. It came with a side of chocolate sauce or icing (think cinnamon rolls). I chose the chocolate sauce, which it didn't need because it was already sweet enough with the sugar. LOVED the ambiance - so cute and chic! The drinks were made perfectly. My fiancé got the captain crunch latte and I got the chai. I don't like cinnamon (which usually comes with a chai) but the cashier was so sweet and said they could easily not use cinnamon. I'm not a big beignet fan, but my fiancé LOVED the s'mores beignets. I personally believe that their pricing structure is a tad on the "high" side, as beignets are made from dough and a sprinkling of powdered sugar. The same applies to the price of a cup of coffee! As an ex-restaurant owner, when opening a new place, owners would be very wise as to initially approach pricing with some "loss leaders" like beignets! They certainly will not fade into the sunset quicker by lowering prices on some of their less costly items, at least for an initial, set period of time. Moreover, and in Tallahassee particularly, any new restaurant tends to be over-rated, and a lot of them that have been around awhile suffer from these over-ratings as some owners believe them. And while quality food is very important, it usually requires great service, and restaurant servers are a dime a dozen in so many places.
