I absolutely love Beignets & Brew and after trying the Strawberry Coconut Power Fizzy a few months ago, I've been hooked ever since. While in the area, I decided to stop in and grab one. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I love how nice and friendly the staff are. The shop is always so clean and I love the beautiful decor! I ordered the drink and asked if it came in a large (it's just that good) but they said it only comes in one size due to the amount of caffeine that's in it and I completely understood. I was only there to grab the Power Fizzy but the Honey Graham Beignets sounded tasty, so I ordered those as well. My Strawberry Coconut Power Fizzy was great, per usual. It tastes like a dirty soda but it actually includes a lotus plant-based caffeine with benefits such as weight loss, mood boosters and blood sugar regulation and also includes antioxidants. The Honey Graham Beignets were wonderful! They were tossed in graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon with a honey drizzle! Stopped into Beignets & Brew on Princess Anne Road in Va. Beach to pick up a treat to share with my coworkers. We've wanted to try the beignets since the shop opened. I was pleasantly greeted by Ashley F who asked if it was my first time in the shop. She was friendly and patient with me as I asked a few questions. I decided on 24 beignet bites to go and ordered small containers of each of the three dipping sauces: Butter Cream, Blueberry, and Chocolate. I enjoyed the smaller bite-sized beignets, and the butter cream dipping sauce combination the best! My coworker wished the blueberry dipping sauce was a little thicker. But, all three dipping sauce flavors are tasty. I also ordered a regular Honey-Cinna Lavender Latte, hot, with oat milk (additional $1 charge for the alternative milk) and it was delicious! There's a couple of regular tables and other seating but nothing to support a large party or even the type of place where you'd really bring a large party. Gives more of a chipotle vibe versus a restaurant or bar (since they offer "brew"). I do wish there was an option to buy 1 beignet. Or if it was an option, I didn't see it. I ordered the turtle beignets, and they were really good. I would definitely recommend them. I also ordered a tea, but it was terrible and I threw it away. I wish I took a picture of it, but it was a blueberry flavored tea, but it was awful. Do not get it. Also, when you order the tea, it rings up as the regular price versus the small price that's listed on the menu. And because it's young kids working there's "nothing they can do." So the prices don't match what rings up and what's actually listed on the menu so just make sure you watch as things are being calculated. Also, I recommend to eat these fresh. They're not as great as something you take home and eat later. I took home the cinnamon ones and they were OK but I'm thinking that they were just OK because of the wait and we didn't eat them fresh. Let's start with service, if I could give it a grade I would give them a C. It was weird when all they did was stare at you without saying anything. There were also enough employees there that I'd think all the tables would have been clean, since we walked in and no other guests were there. We got the pumpkin and nutella 3 pack beignets and split them so we could try both flavors. I feel you should be able to mix and match the flavors. Or they should have a variety box. But it wasn't a option. We had to ask for extra powdered sugar, because it only comes on the bottom as a decoration. But I'm used to them with lots of powdered sugar. I asked and it wasn't any on there at first .But when we both went back to ask again, the girl was nice and gave us more. You should have the option to add powdered sugar to any flavor. That's what a traditional beignet is. You'll definitely have powdered sugar everywhere. Lol. Go hard or go home. I love the concept but I feel the owner should tweek some things to cater more to the customers since this area could appreciate an establishment like this. I've visited Beignets & Brew several times in the last 30 days, and the food and service have been consistently excellent. My first visit was on a Monday morning. It wasn't crowded, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. All their beignets are made to order, ensuring they are hot and fresh. I tried the Biscoff butter cookie latte with almond milk, traditional beignets with powdered sugar (four per order), and Cinna-swirl beignets (three per order) drizzled with cinnamon roll icing and cinnamon. I even returned later that afternoon and had a similarly positive experience with quick service and no crowds. That time, I ordered the turtle beignets, which are traditional beignets drizzled with caramel, cream cheese, chocolate, and pecans, along with a strawberry coconut Lotus energy drink. During other visits, I tried the Chicken & Beignets, which I found to be a delicious take on chicken and waffles. The chicken tenders were flavorful and juicy--a great lunchtime snack. The Blue Razz Sour Apple Lotus drink was refreshing and provided just enough caffeine for an afternoon pick-me-up. I also enjoyed the Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pie shaken espresso, a well-balanced blend of almond milk, espresso, pumpkin, and brown sugar that wasn't overly sweet. Although I'm not a big fan of iced coffee, I would definitely order this again. For pumpkin spice enthusiasts, the Seasonal Pumpkin Biscoff Beignet, drizzled with pumpkin icing, Biscoff cookie butter, and cinnamon powder, is a must-try. They also offer Beignet Bites in both traditional and specialty flavors, which I actually prefer over the traditional size. My only recommendation would be for them to offer a specialty sampler pack, allowing customers to create their own three-pack. How exciting to get yet another coffee/pastry shop near me. The only issue with that is that I'm going to have to watch my waistline (lol). This establishment is very inviting. Once I entered, the first thing that caught my eye were the witty framed sayings. It's spacious with plenty of seating and everything looked clean. There was a line to place your order but it went by reasonably quick. When it was my turn, I let the cashier know that it was my first time there and she was nice enough to explain the menu and ordering process. I was with my husband and daughter and we ordered drip coffee, two of the biscotti lattes with almond milk, we got a breakfast sandwich with eggs, sausage and cheese. We also ordered the traditional and Nutella beignets. Needless to say everything was amazing. We will definitely be back to try some of the other treats. Came here Monday around 1130am and it was super busy. Found out VBCPS had the day off so that may have played a part of how busy it was at that time. After ordering, I went to sit and wait in the car as I'm super pregnant and there was no where to sit. I highly recommend trying the pumpkin biscoff beignets. The cookie butter on top was incredible. Hot, fluffy, flavorful. I'd easily get that again. Zero hesitation. The traditional beignets were okay. Hot and fluffy, but the buttercream dipping sauce wasn't anything to write home about. It was very liquidy and had no structure at all. I ended up using the leftover cookie butter drizzle from the other box to dip them with. The lattes weren't good. I felt it was incredibly watered down and the only cookie butter taste I got was from the crumbles they put on top. I sipped my husband's Nutella latte and it gave me a watered down hot chocolate vibe. I wouldn't waste my money on their drinks again. I went to the new place in town and I know they open at 630am lol but i cant get there that early I mean I can but i had other places before this to go to. i got there at 1030am and there was as line already. I ordered traditional beignets first time ever trying these ever. Waiting time was 15 minutes so good wait fresh and good. I ordered a 2nd order of it so I got 8 in total with butter cream sauce. I stopped by Beignets & Brew on a late Saturday morning and overall had a really great experience. The vibes are absolutely on point, fun, lively, and the kind of place that makes you want to hang out and catch up with friends. I went on a recent with my mom and grandmother it was a perfect for us.  A highlight for me was the mimosa flight featuring peach-mango, blood orange and blueberry lemonade. Such a fun touch and totally worth ordering. The beignets were solid too fresh, warm, and indulgent in the best way. We were able to get the King Cake and the serving size was perfect for sharing with three people.  That said, I did knock off a star for a few reasons: seating is pretty limited, which makes it hard if you want to stay awhile as customers eye your table, and silverware was hard to come by. I also wish there were more vegan options on the menu, it would make the spot more inclusive for different dietary needs. Even with those things, I'd still come back. Pretty delicious! I do like how they have the gold standard. But just be forewarned, these are pretty small. Not like the big ones you get New Orleans. They do have really fun toppings. I just got the gold standard which was pretty delicious! Tons and tons of powdered sugar. That biscoff coffee hot, delicious! I really enjoyed it. And I like how it came with the tiny one too. A new beignet spot in coastal VA?? Sign me up! I am not aware of any places that have beignets on the menu so to see a place that just specializes in beignets really peaked my interest. It's located right next to one life (temptation for gym rats?) in the princess one shopping center. We arrived around 7 on a weekday and didn't realize that they were open less than a week before! We quickly placed our order, took a seat and our beignets were ready within just a few minutes - speedy service! They came out hot and COVERED in powdered sugar - at first I thought it was too much but it actually wasn't. They were soft and pillowy and tasted great. I got a buttercream dipping sauce to go with it but it was just OK for me. The space is a bit small for dining in but probably has seating for shout 25 people or so. I think the pricing was just right and the space was clean. Their coffee menu looks amazing and can't wait to try it out on our next visit! Am sorry fellow yelp reviewers, maybe you had too much brew to recognize that the beignets that they serve are over fried ( why are they brown?) and not puffy! I was sorely disappointed. I get it, support local businesses but we're a long way and paid for something we know should be the real deal. Even cafe du Monde in NoLa is a tourist trap ... but this???!!! The interior was spacious with lots of seating. Lots of cute decor and was clean. The staff was friendly and brought the food/drink to us. The beignets were hot and had plenty of powdered sugar. Had very fluffy layers. The tiramisu latte was a good level of sweetness and strong coffee flavoring. Good portion for the regular size. read more
