The beignets here are delicious and definitely the star of the show. My favorite is the Chicken & Beignets -- such a great twist on chicken and waffles, and everything was very flavorful. I also tried the Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte (a sweet blend of espresso, Biscoff cookie butter, vanilla, and milk topped with whipped cream and cookie crumbs), but honestly, it wasn't worth it for the price -- I'd recommend sticking to their regular coffee instead. The staff were nice, friendly, and very patient. They were open to questions and made the experience pleasant. The ambiance is very clean and trendy. I love the pink design -- super cute and definitely Instagram-worthy. That said, the prices are pretty high, and I do wish it were more affordable. Still, I'll be back because the beignets are truly delicious and remind me of New Orleans.

Overall, a cute shop with a neon sign and that fake grass on the wall as a backdrop. There's a couple of regular tables and other seating but nothing to support a large party or even the type of place where you'd really bring a large party. Gives more of a chipotle vibe versus a restaurant or bar (since they offer "brew"). I do wish there was an option to buy 1 beignet. Or if it was an option, I didn't see it. I ordered the turtle beignets, and they were really good. I would definitely recommend them. I also ordered a tea, but it was terrible and I threw it away. I wish I took a picture of it, but it was a blueberry flavored tea, but it was awful. Do not get it. Also, when you order the tea, it rings up as the regular price versus the small price that's listed on the menu. And because it's young kids working there's "nothing they can do." So the prices don't match what rings up and what's actually listed on the menu so just make sure you watch as things are being calculated. Also, I recommend to eat these fresh. They're not as great as something you take home and eat later. I took home the cinnamon ones and they were OK but I'm thinking that they were just OK because of the wait and we didn't eat them fresh. It's an interesting concept. Maybe a place to check out if you're in the area.

    Cute decor and seating.

Located in the same plaza as One Life Fitness Princess Anne. French Cafe decor, welcoming staff, a delightful menu to choose many options from. We had coffee and beignets with blueberry and chocolate dipping sauce and we were not disappointed. Light, airy and done to perfection with a healthy dusting of powdered sugar-watch out black shirts lol Definitely would go back again, even just for a cup of that delicious drip coffee! You can order online too and skip the line!

Let's start with service, if I could give it a grade I would give them a C. It was weird when all they did was stare at you without saying anything. There were also enough employees there that I'd think all the tables would have been clean, since we walked in and no other guests were there. Most of the tables, especially the coffee area were dirty. The beignets are banging! I loved them, the only reason I'd venture back. They are best fresh but were still good after my long drive home. The biscoff cookie butter latte was just ok. Really just sweet milk and coffee and less of a biscoff cookie flavor. Not bad but not great either.

Really nice and clean vibe inside with some pink, gold, and white color scheme. My kids even commented how "shiny" the bathrooms were. Beignets were hot and fresh, and quite delicious. Pretty reasonable prices too. We got a 4 pack of traditional and it was like ~$8. I didn't try any coffee, but they have some really nice coffee selections that I'd love to try next time (the biscoff cookie one sounds fabulous). Employees were all friendly and smiled at us upon interactions. Probably enough seating for maybe 30 people--mostly small tables. It could get a bit crowded during busy hours. Really cool place that we will totally return to--nice idea.

I have been dying to try this place since I do not live out Virginia Beach. But I happened to be in the area at the time. This place did NOT Disappoint! Me and my boyfriend only got the 3 beignets since we didn't have dinner yet and after we ate them we wanted three just to ourselves. They were fresh, soft and fluffy. It just melted in your mouth. Also the shop is so clean and welcoming. Beware of how GOOD this place is. You'll want to go back everyday.

We stopped by Beignets and Brew to see what they had to offer. When you walk in it's very bright and airy inside. With pink and white decor and cute plush couches. The asthetics are there. Definitely a vibe!! We were greeted right away by the friendly staff. They had classic beignets and specialty flavors, breakfast sandwiches, sundaes, as well as coffee. The prices are kinda sorta reasonable. I mean $10 for a 3 pack isn't bad, but the actual size of the Beignets is what I didn't expect. They look bigger on the pictures. For that price it should be full size and not a 3 bite treat. They have the 12 pack which is $26, but that's a lot to me. We got the pumpkin and nutella 3 pack beignets and split them so we could try both flavors. I feel you should be able to mix and match the flavors. Or they should have a variety box. But it wasn't a option. We had to ask for extra powdered sugar, because it only comes on the bottom as a decoration. But I'm used to them with lots of powdered sugar. I asked and it wasn't any on there at first .But when we both went back to ask again, the girl was nice and gave us more. You should have the option to add powdered sugar to any flavor. That's what a traditional beignet is. You'll definitely have powdered sugar everywhere. Lol. Go hard or go home. I love the concept but I feel the owner should tweek some things to cater more to the customers since this area could appreciate an establishment like this. If they are the size they are, a 4 pack seems more appropriate. They are kind of layered dough so this isn't the Louisiana style beignet that your getting. But I will say those lil puffs were tasty!! The nutella one was really good and I liked the pumpkin to. You could easily become addicted!! It's worth trying for sure. I'll be back to try more. Hopefully I can add two more stars next time !! Check them out!!

Beignets & Brew is located in the Princess One shopping center off Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. I was immediately greeted by the cashier when I arrived. The interior was bright, clean, and decorated mainly with white accents. I particularly liked the low wall that separated the ordering line from the seating area. They also have a lounge area , complete with a popular grass wall, a sofa, a table, and two chairs, making it an ideal spot for social or group meetings. I've visited Beignets & Brew several times in the last 30 days, and the food and service have been consistently excellent. My first visit was on a Monday morning. It wasn't crowded, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. All their beignets are made to order, ensuring they are hot and fresh. I tried the Biscoff butter cookie latte with almond milk, traditional beignets with powdered sugar (four per order), and Cinna-swirl beignets (three per order) drizzled with cinnamon roll icing and cinnamon. I even returned later that afternoon and had a similarly positive experience with quick service and no crowds. That time, I ordered the turtle beignets, which are traditional beignets drizzled with caramel, cream cheese, chocolate, and pecans, along with a strawberry coconut Lotus energy drink. During other visits, I tried the Chicken & Beignets, which I found to be a delicious take on chicken and waffles. The chicken tenders were flavorful and juicy--a great lunchtime snack. The Blue Razz Sour Apple Lotus drink was refreshing and provided just enough caffeine for an afternoon pick-me-up. I also enjoyed the Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pie shaken espresso, a well-balanced blend of almond milk, espresso, pumpkin, and brown sugar that wasn't overly sweet. Although I'm not a big fan of iced coffee, I would definitely order this again. For pumpkin spice enthusiasts, the Seasonal Pumpkin Biscoff Beignet, drizzled with pumpkin icing, Biscoff cookie butter, and cinnamon powder, is a must-try. They also offer Beignet Bites in both traditional and specialty flavors, which I actually prefer over the traditional size. My only recommendation would be for them to offer a specialty sampler pack, allowing customers to create their own three-pack. Overall, I would give Beignets & Brew a solid 4.5 stars and 100% recommend stopping by. It's a fantastic alternative to a traditional donut shop, and I haven't tried anything on their menu that I didn't like.

Warm, deliciously covered powdered sugar beignets made to order - we both loved them. We tried the chocolate and blueberry sauces and I preferred the blueberry - nice strong flavor. Friendly and very attentive servers. Clean establishment, cutely decorated. Nice, casual and relaxing atmosphere. Very fun menu with lots of yummy choices, and for those who drink - alcohol is on its way. In the area, Check Them Out!

How exciting to get yet another coffee/pastry shop near me. The only issue with that is that I'm going to have to watch my waistline (lol). This establishment is very inviting. Once I entered, the first thing that caught my eye were the witty framed sayings. It's spacious with plenty of seating and everything looked clean. There was a line to place your order but it went by reasonably quick. When it was my turn, I let the cashier know that it was my first time there and she was nice enough to explain the menu and ordering process. I was with my husband and daughter and we ordered drip coffee, two of the biscotti lattes with almond milk, we got a breakfast sandwich with eggs, sausage and cheese. We also ordered the traditional and Nutella beignets. Needless to say everything was amazing. We will definitely be back to try some of the other treats. I highly recommend this establishment for just about all types of meetups and even for some study/work time. It was pretty packed when we went but it was still quiet enough to do work there.

I stopped by Beignets & Brew on a late Saturday morning and overall had a really great experience. The vibes are absolutely on point, fun, lively, and the kind of place that makes you want to hang out and catch up with friends. I went on a recent with my mom and grandmother it was a perfect for us.  A highlight for me was the mimosa flight featuring peach-mango, blood orange and blueberry lemonade. Such a fun touch and totally worth ordering. The beignets were solid too fresh, warm, and indulgent in the best way. We were able to get the King Cake and the serving size was perfect for sharing with three people.  That said, I did knock off a star for a few reasons: seating is pretty limited, which makes it hard if you want to stay awhile as customers eye your table, and silverware was hard to come by. I also wish there were more vegan options on the menu, it would make the spot more inclusive for different dietary needs. Even with those things, I'd still come back. Great energy, fun drinks, and a cute stop when you're in the mood for something celebratory. As I say in most of my reviews I will come back.

Came here Monday around 1130am and it was super busy. Found out VBCPS had the day off so that may have played a part of how busy it was at that time. The establishment was brightly lit, but it felt cramped. Had we dined in, I don't feel I'd have been able to relax. With how tightly packed it was, it was also incredibly loud. After ordering, I went to sit and wait in the car as I'm super pregnant and there was no where to sit. We ordered the pumpkin biscoff beignets and the traditional beignets with buttercream dipping sauce. I got a biscoff cookie butter latte and my husband a Nutella latte. I highly recommend trying the pumpkin biscoff beignets. The cookie butter on top was incredible. Hot, fluffy, flavorful. I'd easily get that again. Zero hesitation. The traditional beignets were okay. Hot and fluffy, but the buttercream dipping sauce wasn't anything to write home about. It was very liquidy and had no structure at all. I ended up using the leftover cookie butter drizzle from the other box to dip them with. The lattes weren't good. I felt it was incredibly watered down and the only cookie butter taste I got was from the crumbles they put on top. I sipped my husband's Nutella latte and it gave me a watered down hot chocolate vibe. I wouldn't waste my money on their drinks again. The cashier we interacted with was really nice and patient and she informed us that they do 'military Mondays' for a little discount. We'll be back for the beignets, but not the drinks.

Beignets & Brew is a bright, welcoming spot with a cheerful atmosphere and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The space has a clean, airy vibe--perfect for relaxing with a coffee or catching up with friends. We ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha Latte, a Nutella Latte, and four beignets with blueberry sauce. The beignets came out hot, fresh, and generously dusted with powdered sugar. They were delicious--maybe not quite Café Du Monde level--but definitely the next best thing without making the drive to New Orleans. Both lattes were excellent, rich, and well-balanced with great flavor. Prices are fair for the quality, and everything came out quickly despite being made to order. Overall, Beignets & Brew is a solid spot for coffee lovers and anyone with a sweet tooth. I'll definitely be back to try a few more of their drinks and sauces next time.

I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Wanted to try the pandesitas (I hope I'm remembering correctly) but you have to pre-order and it has to be 6 dozen (cry). Maybe next time.

Always fresh, always delicious. There's a bit of seating if you want to linger. Also take time to check their refrigerated case for baked goods, simple syrups and other items. Counter staff are very patient as people make up their minds. lol Follow them on social to find out what they'll feature for the week to help your decision making process.

Snd at the end we were not sure if we were clearing our table or not. So it took us a few minutes walking around and trying to watch people. I'm still not sure if there were other things we could have ordered or if it is what you see if what they have for that day. We stood in line and that went very fast. Ordered the veggie slice and the marinara slice. When we got up to the register to pay she rang it up and said do you want anything else. Well I said do you have drinks available? You get to choose your tea. I absolutely love that. I got chamomile tea. But she should have asked if we would like something to drink or have a drink menu or something. There was just a disconnect with how this place works. And if it is your first time I'm clueless. The food was wonderful and they had plenty of ice water that you serve yourself. We were riding our bikes at the oceanfront so the nice cold water was great Pros and cons -Friendly staff, but not super informative -the food was wonderful, but not sure if that was the whole menu. -tea selection was good and my chamomile tea was wonderful, but I would have liked to have read a menu of what drinks were available. You known to make it easier for the person ordering. Inside and outside seating. And it was nice inside. Some of the seating outside had nice umbrellas. It does tend to get hot down at the oceanfront so I'm so thankful for all the different options. I want to go again but I want to go with a friend who will know how everything works

My wife and I stopped in to check it out and tried a nice mix of treats--the everything bagel pastry, peach turnover, chocolate chip cookie, molasses cookie, and a lemon cookie. Every single one was fresh and full of flavor. The variety here is impressive, with plenty of pastries, breads, and cookies to choose from. You can tell they put care into what they bake, and it really shows in the taste. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, making it easy to try a few different things without feeling like you've overspent. We're already planning to come back to try more pastries and their sourdough bread. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and craving something homemade and delicious.

I was most interested in the sourdough sliced loaf. They make in their commercial kitchen off Lynnhaven. After discussing purchased one. The loaf was pricey at $13. I would consider trying them again.

Lots of fresh spinach sauteed in olive oil and garlic with pillowy ravioli filled with a smooth cheese filling, I had sfogliatelle for dessert. The sfogliatelle (shell-shaped pastry) is worth a trip from Kempsville. In addition to the great food, I have to send a shoutout to Erin. I was meeting a friend, she was late, not reachable by text or phone, which is highly unusual for her. After a half hour wait I was convinced my friend was having a health issue. I thanked Erin, explained the situation to her, and left to drive to my friend's house. Needless to say, five minutes later (still in the parking lot), I got a message through Messenger that my friend was safe inside the restaurant. Erin volunteered her personal phone to help us out and was very kind through the whole debacle. Almost needed a daytime glass of wine to recover! (no go - driving) The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. But I get distracted on my way to the table by the amazing pastry display! And they're not just pretty, they back it up with good taste.
