Really enjoyed the vibe here, feels like home. The coffee and breakfast were delicious too. Will definitely be coming back!

My family tried out Bodega Cafe this morning. It's a smaller spot and probably not ideal for a huge group like ours, but we were able to make it work and find seating together. The vibe is laid-back and relaxed, and the aesthetic is really cute -- great casual breakfast energy without feeling rushed. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean, which always makes a difference. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were delicious (pro tip: add egg to the ham and Swiss). The bagels were decent -- not NY level, but still solid. The coffee was good, though they didn't have Splenda on hand, so if that's your thing you may want to bring your own. My son ordered the strawberry smoothie and a chicken wrap -- the wrap was generously sized and he really enjoyed both. Overall, a cozy neighborhood spot with good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Welcome to Bodega Cafe, where love and flavor intertwine! This Valentine's Day, they've whipped up the most delightful drink specials just for you. Imagine sipping on a creamy XOXO Strawberry White Mocha, bursting with flavors that warm your heart. And let's not forget the tantalizing Raspberry Cheesecake drink, perfect to share or savor alone! But that's not all! Pair it with their irresistibly flaky Guava pastry and mini strawberry pancakes, and you've got a feast that makes every moment feel special. I love how decked out they are whenever you come in & they even had a DJ playing the right music giving the right vibes! And the service? Exceptional!!!! #foodie #foodreview #coffeeshop #coffeelover #valentines

Bodega Cafe is a hidden gem. Inside is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. I got the Spanish latte, and the lady taking my order recommended getting it hot instead of iced, it was really good. My wife ordered the iced Coco Loco, and she loved it. If you're not into coffee, they also have lemonade and fruit smoothies. If you're hungry, they offer breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, chicken lettuce wraps, pastries, and bagels. We didn't get any food on this visit, but I'll definitely be coming back to try the breakfast sandwiches, they looked really good.

Went here Monday night for a specialty reserved event. They let us make purchases even though they were "closed" so I was happy to finally be able to try their coffee! The inside was so pretty! Beautifully decorated with christmas decor! The staff was friendly and also helpful when I asked questions about their menu. I decided to try a drink from their seasonal menu/December special. An Iced Santa's Cookie (10/10) it was sweet and flavorful; loved the cookie butter syrup! Def will return to try more of their drinks and some "Bodega bites" My overall rate of experience : 10/10

Stopped in at the recommendation of my friend that lives near by before I made my drive back to NC. I was greeted upon entry and the atmosphere was super cute! I ordered a piece of crumb cake and a large chai, both of which were really good.

I adore this little coffee shop. and that's just what it is. It's very small inside but cozy. I went during the christmas season and it was so festive in there as well as many festive drinks! I ordered the Rudolph (white mocha & cranberry with dried cranberry topping) and it was delish! I never had cranberry in a coffee drink before. It was so good and unique. My husband ordered the La Isla (espresso, mocha, and coconut) which is on their standard menu. He also ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwhich which came out quick and also hit the spot! We don't come out here often but I will definitely be back. Their pastry counter was also stocked with so many goodies!

Cozy Vibes, Great Coffee & Dog-Friendly Perks! We visited Bodega Café as part of our Sip & Sunday Passport Series, and this spot absolutely delivered! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were super helpful and even recommended the Island Cold Brew with coconut cold cream -- and it did not disappoint. Smooth, tropical, and refreshing! I also had a maple pecan pastry that was out of this world -- perfectly baked, sweet but not too sweet, and paired so well with the coffee. And of course, our pup Lexi was with us -- they're dog-friendly as long as your pup is leashed, and they even offer pup cups! Lexi tore hers up with her whole nose covered in whipped cream. Major hit. The shop was clean, modern, and buzzing with energy -- clearly a local favorite with great foot traffic. If you're in the Virginia Beach area, whether you're part of the passport tour or just need a good cup of coffee and a warm atmosphere, Bodega Café is a must-visit.

Very cute modern industrial yet modest size cafe. The staff was very friendly and went through the menu of their most popular items and which ones were sweeter. I also asked about their bagels and they said they get them from another local shop and NY Bagel (which we love!). I did decide to try a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. Delicious! We also went with the sweater weather and haystack drinks. The sweater weather had maple and cinnamon. This will be a repeat. The haystack was also delicious with a butter pecan flavoring. I would also like to come back when it's warm to try their cold drinks with cold foam.

Super cute café, with great ambience. Customer service was amazing and I got a blueberry cheesecake cold brew, and it was very good. I will be back again.

Good service with great food and nice drink options! Offers an aray of drink styles and flavors to accommodate any palate and preference. Size wise its cozy, but not overly intimate. Has a soothing modern atmosphere with hints of ethnic heritage and cultural identity

Quite spot and amazing service. Highly recommend Spanish Latte yummy.

Having "NY Bagel" is literally, sacrilegious to those of us that know WHAT a true "NY Bagel" is. Their name hold true to form, what a NY Bagel is. I initially wanted Bagels & Lox, but changed my mind when I saw what I was also craving... PASTRAMI. I got "The DON," pastrami piled high (NOT "Katz" high, but a Chesapeake high, with Cold Slaw and a pickle. When I tell you delicious!! The WATER's PH balance is the same as NY, making the bagel, an authentic "NY Bagel." The Cold Slaw... my god today... I haven't had slaw like this since I left NYC!! Ambiance, basic, not very reminiscent of NYC, BUT, every menu item is named after an area in NY. So pleased. I'll be back!!!

What Made It Memorable Photo 1 shows the Reuben sandwich from October 10, 2024, and it was unforgettable--the kind of sandwich I could not stop thinking about. Since then, my family and I have returned at least once a month. When family visited from out of town, this was one of the first places we wanted to take them. What Has Changed Fast forward to 2026, and the quality over the past few months has gotten worse with each visit. The sandwich no longer feels like the same thoughtful, well-made item that made us keep coming back. * The bread seems different. * The ingredients feel sparse. * Today's sandwich was burnt. * The dressing was missing. Overall, the quality control just does not feel consistent anymore. I truly enjoyed this place, but I cannot justify paying $17 for a sandwich that is so clearly not what it used to be. A Hopeful Note The employees are kind and friendly, and the service is usually quick even when the restaurant is busy. The food used to be amazing, and I am genuinely hoping this is just a bump in the road and that the team can make a few adjustments to bring the quality back to what it was.

I ordered the Williamsburg Bagel, which consisted of lox, plain cream cheese, tomato, capers, and red onion. I originally wanted it on an Everything bagel, but since they were out, I went with a Garlic bagel instead. Even though it was a tad bit crowded, my sandwich was ready in about 5 mins. I've had the Williamsburg Bagel before so I was excited to enjoy it again but I wasn't a big fan of the thick-cut red onions they added on there, and I actually love onions! Unfortunately, I ended up taking most of them off. I also wish it had more cream cheese, the thin layer on the bottom just wasn't enough for me. That said, the bagel itself was fresh and overall, the sandwich tasted good. At almost $20, it did feel a little pricey for a bagel sandwich, but I enjoyed it. I'd definitely come back to try other options. The interior is full of Brooklyn pictures, which I love! Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

My husband and a friend came here on a Thursday morning to order 6 items and they were gone for almost an hour (it was a 10 minute drive from where we stayed). They come back with a bag of "bagels" (if that's what you want to call them) drenched in ketchup. Our orders were extremely simple: BEC w/PK on a plain bagel Egg and cheese on a croissant BEC w/PK on an asiago bagel Taylored Ham, egg & cheese on a bagel Toasted everything bagel with lox & cream cheese Here is everything that went wrong: 1. The bagel store didn't offer BACON, so we ended up substituting for sausage. The sausage patty was probably the size of my kid's palm- that's how small it was. The eggs were overcooked and had no taste, but don't worry, they'll make sure to smother the entire bagel with ketchup to make up for it. 2. TOASTED bagel with lox & cream cheese- bagel was not toasted, and there wasn't any lox available. 3. Egg & cheese on a croissant- the place didn't have any croissants... so had to substitute this for a roll 4. It was the chef's second day in the kitchen. Bagels alone wasn't great quality..it was edible enough, but extremely chewy and stiff, especially after taking so long to prepare the orders and with two people working in a place that is seemingly popular with the Yelp Community, the amount of time it took this order to be ready was a little ridiculous. I ordered the same thing back home the following day and it took less time to make here in NJ than it did here on a non-busy day with just my husband and friend as their sole customer at the time.

It's the perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and open gooey deliciousness! Today, Baker's Crust catered breakfast at my office, and I was excited to see a table overflowing with bagels and cream cheeses. It was like Christmas morning for carb lovers! Unfortunately, none of the bagels or cream cheeses were labeled. My excitement quickly turned into confusion when I took a big bite of what I was sure was my beloved strawberry cream cheese... only to discover it was definitely not strawberry. And let's just say an onion bagel paired with the wrong cream cheese is a combination I wouldn't recommend. The food itself was great, but a little labeling would go a long way. A simple sticker or note on the bottom of each cream cheese container and small tent cards identifying the bagel flavors would save future customers from accidental flavor roulette. Still a fan, but next time I'd like to know whether I'm biting into strawberry bliss or an unexpected onion surprise! For a side note it's so easy to order online for a quick stop on the way to work. Sticker shock slammed me when I saw the price of a 12 ounce black coffee... it was almost the same cost as my bagel with cream cheese. Speaking of my premium highly priced black coffee ... it tastes as if there was sweetener of some sort added in ... oh well. When picking up my order to eat in ... The raison d'etre for this visit ... a bagel with veggie cream cheese... well it was a very good bagel with crunch and a decent schmear of veggie cream cheese. The bagel shop itself has a huge empty except for me dining area with lots of room to work if you choose to do so but I'd pick a place with reasonably priced coffee that includes refills if I was working. Sugar in my coffee uh no ... having to order off a tablet on the wall ... no ... a good reasonably priced bagel yes... maybe call in an order for bagels and get your coffee elsewhere or better yet find a nice diner with a waitress who comes to your table.
