I decided to try this new coffee shop as it popped up on my instagram feed and the atmosphere was amazing, very calm and quiet, unfortunately after purchasing 2 coffees i had my grandmothers little dog with me and when leaving she tangled me up and one of the coffee's dropped and spilled everywhere outside, i felt soo bad so i put her in the car and went back inside and apologized greatly, i said i'd be more than happy to pay for another coffee and the worker said nono don't worry about it, I had asked for a different coffee and said i could pay the difference and he said no. they made me a brand new coffee! Upon walking in, I was greeted warmly by one of the baristas- he was so kind and so welcoming as it was my first time. He gave great recommendations (as you can see- I downed my coffee before even getting a photo)! The bagel was good, warm but nothing overly special flavor wise, it was basic turkey and cheddar on a warmed everything bagel- does not come with anything else on it but I'm not sure if you could add something extra like an egg or cream cheese (if you can, I recommend!) Over all the coffee shop is cute with its mix of boho meets nyc vibe - it's small, so I wouldn't plan on hanging out here but it's worth a stop in anyway! For both items it was around $15, so a little pricey for what it was, but worth it for supporting local! My family tried out Bodega Cafe this morning. It's a smaller spot and probably not ideal for a huge group like ours, but we were able to make it work and find seating together. The vibe is laid-back and relaxed, and the aesthetic is really cute -- great casual breakfast energy without feeling rushed. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean, which always makes a difference. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were delicious (pro tip: add egg to the ham and Swiss). The bagels were decent -- not NY level, but still solid. The coffee was good, though they didn't have Splenda on hand, so if that's your thing you may want to bring your own. Bodega Cafe is a hidden gem. Inside is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. I got the Spanish latte, and the lady taking my order recommended getting it hot instead of iced, it was really good. My wife ordered the iced Coco Loco, and she loved it. If you're not into coffee, they also have lemonade and fruit smoothies. If you're hungry, they offer breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, chicken lettuce wraps, pastries, and bagels. Went here Monday night for a specialty reserved event. They let us make purchases even though they were "closed" so I was happy to finally be able to try their coffee! The inside was so pretty! Beautifully decorated with christmas decor! The staff was friendly and also helpful when I asked questions about their menu. I decided to try a drink from their seasonal menu/December special. I adore this little coffee shop. and that's just what it is. It's very small inside but cozy. I went during the christmas season and it was so festive in there as well as many festive drinks! I ordered the Rudolph (white mocha & cranberry with dried cranberry topping) and it was delish! I never had cranberry in a coffee drink before. It was so good and unique. My husband ordered the La Isla (espresso, mocha, and coconut) which is on their standard menu. He also ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwhich which came out quick and also hit the spot! I came today in support of a merry market and the event did a good job of offering a variety of crafts, snacks, books, and holiday music. I came into the shop ready to try a drink and get a pastry/snack. The place was highly decorated and the music was going but it was a visual overload. They had a large selection of drinks and they looked fairly good. I walked over to the pastry case and was taken aback when the staff asked the person behind me about their order - they replied with their order then the staff said in return, "It's coming - relax." I was shocked at how curt the staff was in their interaction and heel toe turned right away from the cafe. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were super helpful and even recommended the Island Cold Brew with coconut cold cream -- and it did not disappoint. Smooth, tropical, and refreshing! I also had a maple pecan pastry that was out of this world -- perfectly baked, sweet but not too sweet, and paired so well with the coffee. Very cute modern industrial yet modest size cafe. The staff was very friendly and went through the menu of their most popular items and which ones were sweeter. I also asked about their bagels and they said they get them from another local shop and NY Bagel (which we love!). I did decide to try a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. Delicious! We also went with the sweater weather and haystack drinks. The sweater weather had maple and cinnamon. This will be a repeat. The haystack was also delicious with a butter pecan flavoring. I think i should have what teas she had cuz I just read there are some flavor teas, but I didn't think of that. We stopped here after a late lunch for a pick me up. The cafe itself is very cute and very decorated for the holidays which I loved. We were the only patrons entering the cafe and the employees were all sitting at the register playing on their phones. The young girl who took our order and made our drinks was not very talkative and seemed annoyed with having to wait on us. Both drinks we tried were just okay. The Cinnamon Bun drink I tried tasted very artificial. I didn't care for it. They have decent sized menu so maybe another drink would've been a better fit for me. The only bothersome part that kinda threw me off, not in regards to the drink, but one of the employees had her phone on speaker and was making a phone call to what sounded like a call center. Saturday 9/6/25 was my first time here , I heard a lot of reviews and have had it on my list. Upon entering it was not a warm and fuzzy for sure , the young lady didn't acknowledge the arrival of customers nonetheless smile , to be honest I wanted to turn back and leave. To me customer service is key. I ordered the Spanish latte I say 5/10, bacon , egg and cheese on a bagel was average 7/10 , sausage , egg and cheese on a croissant the eggs were over cooked and dry 3/10. The place is cozy and inviting but once you head to the counter it brings your mood down. Like I always say on my reviews , don't take my word for it we are all different people and expect different things in the establishments we visit. Will I return not likely read more

First of all, if I could give this place 12 stars, I would. The vibe is always immaculate, with the music and the friendly faces that always greet you. The baristas are super friendly and are happy to help with recommendations. The coffee is my favorite in the 757, always nice and strong but smooth and never bitter. The food is real food - the eggs on my sandwich are scrambled, fluffy, and seasoned. The slice of cheddar is thick and melty, and the croissant is bakery style. Don't skip the bakery case, either. They have a great selection of pastries that are always perfect. In case it's not obvious, this is my FAVORITE local spot and I will ALWAYS be back. I ordered the Sweater Weather and added an extra shot since the flavor profile sounded like it might lean a little too much on the "sweater" side. When it came out, it was only 16oz even though I had asked for a large. Not sure if they didn't hear me or if that's the only size offered. Gave it a try and... wow. Super sweet, even with the extra shot, and strangely bitter at the same time. Almost like the espresso shots had died before being pulled into the drink. Came in for a quiet place to take of some quick emails. The ambiance is great. This is a small coffee shop tucked in the back corner of the plaza. The coffee shop has good background music on which I really enjoyed. Has a cozy vibe to it. There weren't many people going in and out of the shop and I was the only one seated there mid-morning hours around 930-10ish. I had a cortado it was prepared good with great taste. Can't complain. Wonderful experience at the Bodega Cafe. I love finding little reminders of NYC in the 757 and so far this is my favorite one as far as decor goes. I currently live in Brooklyn so this reminded me of how cafes in BK look. Although, this is a Bronx-owned cafe.... Respect!!! This is a cute space... some have said it is small but to me it's a good size. They have plenty of options for seating as well. I love all the decor and how the exposed brick walls give it the city vibes inside. My brother tried a drink from their seasonal menu called Bloom. He appreciated the sweetness from the blueberry. But he didn't like the mocha as much. Maybe if it was vanilla? I wonder if he would have liked it then! I tried a signature drink, La Isla. I enjoyed it. I'm not a mocha fan but I love how simple the flavors are and how well they messed together (coconut and mocha). There is a lot of mocha on their menu, which again isn't quite my jam.... But it may be someone else's! My daughter tried their chocolate chip cookie. It was huge. It was delicious! Overall, I would come back!
