Walked in at 20 minutes to closing Saturday night and they had no problem making me a fresh dozen. Everything was made fresh, and it is similar to duck donuts- same base donut for everything covered with something different. Off the top of my head, we got maple bacon, lemon, apple cinnamon, peanut butter chocolate, smores... all 12 were different. The donuts themselves were kinda small, and a little cakey. Overall, a decent local option and I'd eat these over dunkin any day of the week, but nothing you must drive over to try. read more

This is the cutest coffee shop!! Their donuts are inexpensive and OUT OF THIS WORLD and they have a great selection of coffee and tea! My favorite donut was Camryn's Strawberry Fields (Which has strawberry frosting and white chocolate chips on top! YUM!!) Stopped by here after visiting a couple other shops on the street. The interior is underwhelming and the service really isn't noteworthy. The pictures of their donuts taste great, but they really all taste the same. I got the oreo, chocolate peanut butter, and smore donuts and they actually just tasted like chocolate donuts. Maybe they got our order wrong or something because the oreo donut had literally no oreo in it. Really not worth stopping in. read more

The customization of the beignets makes this worthwhile and a great stop. Not the cheapest place but a nice treat once in awhile. It is worth a trip for a special occasion or after a long day. Wished they had a public restroom. Also, staff could be a bit friendlier and more upbeat, especially since there is a (short) wait for order to be filled. Wow so this is bad.....bad that I work so close to this place. I've been putting it off for awhile but I decided to check them out yesterday and now there's no going back. Located right in downtown Denville Beignets is a super cute little shop serving up delicious homemade donuts. They also have actual beignets and gelato. I opted for the 4 pack (5.89 w tax) because I do what I want...we got a caramel bacon, a caramel apple bark, destinee's choc pb, and a smores. The guy working had my donuts hot and ready for me in prob about 3 minutes flat and I was on my way. We saved them till later in the night to eat and still were amazing. They are cake donuts, delicious recipe and light (in texture not in calories). the caramel bacon was fantastic, they don't skimp on the bacon that's for sure. Destinees choc/pb prob would have been better enjoyed warm, but the chocolate and pb chips kind of rehardened on the donut to create a new level of delicious. The caramel apple bark was in my opinion the weakest of the group followed by the smores. The apple bark was good don't get me wrong I think I just don't enjoy that flavor profile...super sweet fake apple-y taste, and the smores was good it was just kina ehh. Compared to the first 2 they were not as amazing but still blew my mind. So sadly for my waistline I will definitely be back. this place wreaked of cigarettes from the employees smoking outside. i ordered a boston cream -- my car was immediately filled with the smell of old fryer oil. i was already beginning to regret my decision and i hadn't even opened the bag yet. it only got worse from there... the donut was soaking in what i can only assume was hershey's chocolate syrup, with a dollop of cream on top. it was so sticky, it would've had to have been eaten with a fork if i hadn't thrown it out. read more

Amazing fresh donuts made to order my only complaint is I wish the donuts were bigger, I think that would take away from the quality though. However, their Beignets were ok nothing outstanding about the dough they make but still very good! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars and I actually wish I could give it 4 and a half is because ordering is a bit confusing along with how the menu board is hand written in chalk. My office has gotten doughnuts from here the last few weeks. The only thing we can say is wow. The cinnamon bun doughnut is our favorite here and we can't get enough. The first time we stopped here my husband went in and I stayed in the car. He came back with some super-fresh and hot donuts that were delicious. The lemon one was amazing. I was dreaming about these donuts all week after I had that lemon one. Then we went back and we all went inside. I had never had a beignet before so I got an order of those. I did not like them. They were like little pillows of phyllo dough served with a mountain of powdered sugar on top. Despite the powdered sugar, they never got sweet enough. I only ate one out of an order of three. I never leave sweets uneaten but I thought this beignet was just terrible. I wish I had just had a hot lemon donut. If I go back, I will get one. I was really sad that the beignets were not good. It was a cute place with tables and coffee. There is not a lot of other stuff besides the donuts and beignets. The staff was for the most part friendly and tolerant of our young daughter who when we came out of the bathroom (which was clean and nice) ran behind the counter. The coffee was good. If you haven't had their fresh made-to-order donuts and beignets yet, you're missing out! Don't plan on walking in and out because you'll have to wait for a few minutes while your order is FRESHLY made, but it's so well worth it. I ordered some beignets, and a box of 4 donuts, and they were probably some of the best homemade donuts I've ever had. Not too soggy/greasy, and even after they've cooled they were so good. We were hoping that we could have 2 of the donutes the next day for breakfast but they didn't last that long! A bit more pricey than your average donut, but again, so worth it as you're walking out with a fully loaded order with some fun (and delicious) toppings! read more

Once again, Clif and crew knock it out of the park. The amazing, made-to-order donuts just seem to keep getting better every time I go. This trip, the Boston Cream, the Cinnabun, and the Bacon-Caramel options did the trick, and the coffee was outstanding as well. Meeting owner Clif's lovely wife and two adorable Clif-Ettes was a nice bonus- what a beautiful little family he has! It is heartwarming to see and support a small, Main Street business in this age of multi-national conglomerates peddling cookie-cutter fare to the painfully boring, undiscerning masses. OMG!!!! A friend recommended this place to me stating that I had to try the caramel bacon doughnut and oh it is worth the calories. I also got the s'mores and the chocolate peanut butter donuts. These donuts are so fresh and hot that the marshmallows on my s'mores donut had softened so that they were nice and gooey and the peanut butter chips on the chocolate donut had melted also. I tried a cinnamon sugar donut and the beignets. I really enjoyed the donut- hot and fresh from the fryer! I wasn't interested in trying all those fancy flavors. I like to keep it simple. I was underwhelmed with the beignets. They were more salty than sweet. I'm not a beignets connoisseur, so maybe they are supposed to taste like that? First time having a made to order donuts and it was delicious. The place is cozy and has a couple of tables and counter top seating which is where we sat. There was a steady flow of traffic with people ordering to eat some as they came in and also to go. There were about 30 tickets hanging up with orders to be picked up. My wife and I ordered beignets of course (came as an order of 3) and they came hot, fresh and with a copious amount of powdered sugar. I thought they were ok but my wife said they were outstanding. I'm more of a donut guy. We ordered the following donuts: Logan's Oreo explosion and Camryn's strawberry fields (strawberry and white chocolate) and a plain. All the donuts were made fresh right in front of us and were delicious. We topped everything off with white chocolate expresso drinks with steamed milk. Excellent and would return. read more

Nothing short of amazing! The donuts are made right in front of you and served warm. The toppings that are available add a great twist to the usual donut. The espresso bar is also fabulous! Your average latte is delicious as well as something a little more adventurous such as affogato (espresso over gelato). I just ordered one of their donut cakes for my graduation party.
