I love their donuts and always take advantage of any opportunity to get some! They have a storefront on Main St and I always look for them at local events like the farm & artisan market or bottle hill day. They are always so pleasant and happy to go through the different options. The donuts are the cakey donut type and I believe they have two main base donuts, a vanilla base one and chocolate base one and then there are fun and creative toppings. They are so delicious and are decorated beautifully. Highly recommend!! read more

Got here late but better late than never. 4 donuts left. I bought 3 maple bacon. . Crispy bacon on a maple frosted old fashioned donut was delicious. Sometimes a maple bacon can be greasy but these donuts were not. Perfection. I will definitely come back to try more of their donuts. Parking out front on street. Open until 2PM on weekend. I finally got a chance to check out Sugar lips. The rumors are all true. Im also biased because I love cake based donuts. Their donuts are fresh and remind me of ones I've had in California. Perhaps it's the ingredients they use. I tried 3 donuts. Maple bacon, Cinnamon and Chocolate frosted. All were very moist and decadent. I'll definitely be back to try others. Another donut place with a simple concept- make a chocolate or vanilla base donut and top it with different flavored frosting and stuff. I'm going 4 stars because the frosting here is actually really good, even if it is very sweet. The donuts themselves are a bit cakey, and got hard in the box after just a few days, so I'd recommend eating them quick. read more

Located inside a hot dog shop in Madison. They have a display case with a good variety of donuts (mostly the classic with a few specialty ones mixed in). We got a mix of the classic and special donuts. Our favorites were the specialty donuts: Oreo cookie and squealer (maple glaze + bacon= delicious). The classic devils food cake donut was good, not a fan of the donut itself. but the frosting was out of this world. The price was reasonable for the quality of the donut. It is recommended to call ahead if you want a specialty donut. This is what I will be doing next time! read more

It's quite a strange thing to walk in to this hole in the wall called Weenie's to pick up artisanal donuts, but trust me...just do it. With Covid restrictions, you must order online and in advance. They offer several flavors, some more main stream than others but all delish. And very pretty. They're iced with painstaking perfection. Been here once before over a year ago, but decided to order again. I ordered through DoorDash, as I'm Home recuperating. The quality has not changed. These donuts are the best of Morris County. I ordered the Sugarlips Daily Signature Donuts (box of 6). I ate the Squealer (maple with bacon on old fashioned cake donut. I also ate the Orange U Surprised? (Old fashioned cake covered in homage Orange creamsicle glaze). I ate one more. I ate the Java the Hut (devils food cake donut topped with dark chocolate mocha glaze and gold sugar crystals). All three were so fresh and tasted immaculate. I left three for later. There's the Caramel Romance (Old Fashioned cake donut topped with caramel fudge glaze and pink himalayan seal salt glaze), the Cinn-a-bunz (Old Fashioned cake donut topped with cinnagoo glaze and cream cheese), and the Ras-berry Beret (Devil's Food cake donut topped with dark chocolate raspberry glaze drizzled with "80's Hot Pink" chocolate. But it looks like instead of glaze they used sprinkles. This place is in Weenies in Madison, NJ and open from 8:30a-10:40a or until sold out. This is a local business worth trying. There is not one donut you will not like here. I will be back and recommend them with flying donuts. read more

Sugarlips popped up in late 2020 and I stalked the Instagram for months before finally getting out to try it - what a regrettable handful of months; I should've gone the day it opened for business! The donuts are absurdly delicious, far beyond any expectations. There's a fun assortment of artisanal donuts with fancy toppings, but I'm a classics gal - I tried the chocolate devil's food with glaze and the old fashioned with chocolate icing and sprinkles. The chocolate with glaze had me weak in the knees, and the old fashioned with chocolate icing blurred my sense of reality - they were both truly beyond anything I could imagine. Gourmet donuts, arrived on time simply delicious. This was our second order. We purchased them for the staff who prefer donuts to bagels. They are not generic and better than the "regular" donuts you purchase. They are fresh and taste like a homemade or an old-fashioned bakery made them. The perfect donut. No, seriously. These donuts are straight up Heavenly! I was hosting a meeting and picked up some sweet treats for the 3pm quintessential 'coffee and donut' break. Wowza. Everyone *and I mean everyone* was oohing' and ah'ing' over which one was better. My personal faves (because we cut them up and shared) were the perfectly gooey caramel and also the raspberry chocolate.
