This is the best biscotti ever!! I also LOVE Linda she is always there and very funny and kind. There are lots of different flavors both hard and soft. I LOVE smores, chocolate and all the rest. I did gift bags for my moms birthday and party platters. Linda had it all done in time and BEAUTIFUL. I can't recommend this place any more :)

The best part of Linda's Biscotti is not the biscotti , it's Linda herself. Tough as nail Brooklyn girl puts up with no shit, but damn she is fun to talk to. Just mention the competition across the street and sparks will fly like the 4th of July! There are more flavors if biscotti here than Baskin Robbins has flavors of ice cream, and yes, they have hard and soft baked! And don't pass on the cookies either, killer chocolate chip and oatmeal awaits. I only wish she served lattes with those biscotti but I guess you can't have it all.

Linda's Biscotti started from humble beginnings - baking biscotti in her home kitchen for friends and family using her beloved grandmother's recipe. Her tasty biscotti quickly earned rave reviews and is now practically a Chester institution that's found in local coffee shops and retailers of all sizes. Linda's Biscotti offers a wide range of yummy flavors -- from the traditional like anise and almond to the unique and innovative like funfetti, s'mores, nutella, walnut chocolate chip, chocolate peppermint bark, and, yes, even pumpkin -- in soft (once baked) and hard (twice baked) varieties. I can't decide which I prefer, so I get both. Celiac biscotti lovers aren't left out of the fun, as Linda's offers a number of gluten-free flavors including coconut, fudge chocolate chip, lemon, and walnut chocolate chip. Linda's Biscotti also offers coffee and tea to pair with your biscotti as well as empanadas and burritos for those looking for a more robust option. Pro Tip: Linda's Biscotti ships their biscotti, cookie trays, and gift bags to homemade soy candles in their biscotti flavors nationwide via UPS Ground. Check out the website for more information.

The Dudes from @BigDudesBigFoods were invited back to @LindasBiscotti in #ChesterNJ for a Monster Chocolate Chip Cookie! After numerous past samples of Linda's delicious biscotti, we knew that we couldn't pass up a giant chocolate chipper. This cool Chester shop has a number amazing items beyond biscotti including empanadas, Cocoa Bombs and cookies. Special thanks to @AliceBlue2002 for baking this pizza sized creation for us and Linda for including us in her delicious ventures.#BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBF #BDBFCertified

S'mores biscotti - soft version was delicious!

We found this gem on Labor Day searching for a nearby bakery after lunch in Mendham. The location is great - right on Main Street in Chester. The biscotti are so delicious - there are hard and soft versions. I tried the s'mores with coffee. They were so good, we bought more for home. There's also breads and several more items to try. We'll be back soon!

I hear it can…read moreget crowded on the weekends, but on Thursday when we arrived a little before noon, it wasn't bad. They had a steady stream of newcomers but not too crowded. It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

There wasnt any pumpkin left in the field to pick and the apples were not event there on the trees. I would definitely have to say hand down to the cute little store - there was a bakery side and oh my gosh the donuts , the cookies and the Tik Tok famous drink was out of this world. So the 2 hour trip was definitely worth the drive. The service was okay the individuals behind the counter to order the Tik Tok drink had a bit of a attitude when I was asking about questions. Just stay patient. Other then that I would highly recommend coming here and trying a piece of all of there different donuts and cookies are soo soo good. They were of the potato variety. Since they were made to order, they came out piping hot. My thoughts on each are below. The temperature really made a difference as I tried a few bites after they cooled down and it was not the same. All of the donuts were appropriate in size and somehow appeared very light. I wonder if that was attributed to the potato variety. I just could not believe how much the hot temperature made a difference in all four. Original Cinnamon Sugar - This was very good with plenty of sugar present. Raspberry Jam - There was a ton of raspberry jam here and it was great. Nutella - There was an excessive amount of Nutella here and it worked out well with the hot donut texture. It was unreal. Cannoli - This was great too. I really liked the melted chocolate chips in the cannoli cream. Will I go back? Oh, easily.

They also have other small desserts like cannoli, cookies, biscotti, and pizza, burgers, fries - all freshly homemade. Anyway, ordered the cinnamon sugar and butter glaze donut, (fresh and best enjoyed hot) and it was so light, fluffy, and not overly sweet!Looking to try their other donuts on the menu! Sadly, a poor experience and we are thoroughly disappointed. We were seated promptly, and had our lunch orders taken promptly which was great. Unfortunately those were the positives. The wait for our food was extensive - I was checking my watch to avoid being overly impatient as it dragged on especially because I always tell my kids not to complain and to be patient. Adult starter salads came out within 20 minutes, but nothing else came again until 55 minutes after ordering. The kids' starter fruit cups never came until I asked for them after their 'main' courses had come. Two of my girls ordered the kids' scrambled eggs which was a plate of scrambled eggs with a single piece of toast. My third ordered the kid's french toast which arrived as a small, single piece of french toast, with no fruit/compote, etc on top as was supposed to. It was an incredibly small portion, especially for a hungry 9 year old after waiting for 55 minutes, such that I actually asked the waiter for another piece for her. When this arrived, it did have fruit/compote on top (inconsistency?). My wife ordered the eggs Benedict, which is her favorite, and it was fine but the eggs were overpoached for what it's worth. I had the Healthy Meal - it was fine but nothing amazing. For the majority of the 55 minute gap between the placement of the order and arrival of the food (minus two salads) our server almost never came by to check on us or assure us of timing, and he never refilled waters or asked about drink refills for the kids. We all ordered egg-based meals, and the table had no pepper or ketchup on it or brought out with the food, nor butter for toast. Yes, we could have asked for it, and we would have if the food had come sooner, but after the long wait we just wanted to expedite, eat, and go. The manager did check with us one time before food arrival at which point I mentioned the kids still did not have their starter fruit cups, and she advised our food was coming out soon. Main courses require cooking, but a fruit cup takes about 30 seconds to put together, and the children at the table next to us received and ate fruit cup starters long before their mains arrived - again, no consistency. Things happen, cafes and restaurants encounter challenges, and we are pretty understanding of that so would not have likely bothered to submit a review for one bad experience were it not for what was said in front of us before we left. Another family of four (two young ones) next to us had clearly been having a similar experience to us and did not kick up an overt fuss, but must have submitted a complaint at some point before leaving. After they left, we were the only people in the front room for a few moments while the manager and owner were nearby chatting and clearing the other table. The manager told the owner of the other family's complaint that they had waited "an hour and twenty minutes" for their meals, at which point the owner inquired from her if they had really waited that long, and she said "no it was only 45." The owner then proceeded to dismiss the complaint and stated "isn't that what Mother's Day is all about?" or something to that effect, I assume suggesting that on Mother's Day we should all be happy and/or expecting a long, leisurely meal. I have no idea if their wait was 80 mins but if it was like ours it was probably more than 45 - like I said, I was actually counting. Secondly, having that conversation out in the open in front of other patrons is highly unprofessional, especially if you are going to be so dismissive. It is also tone-deaf to the fact that perhaps the patrons you are having the discussion in front of might also have had a similar experience and actually feel almost exactly the same way the first family did - in which case it is a legitimate shortcoming of the meal process that day, not an easily dismissed one-off complaint by a disgruntled patron. Finally, in no way should an eatery's owner use the premise of what Mother's Day is "about" in his mind as a weak justification for poor/slow service. I love a leisurely meal, if I am enjoying the food and taking my time, not spending the bulk of the time waiting for it. If the kitchen is slow for other reasons, so be it, just apologize and do something nice for that family that lodged a valid complaint. I was actually prepared to also speak to the owner about our experience, but after hearing his back-and-forth with the manager, it seemed pointless to do so privately as it would have been readily dismissed as well, I suspect. Hence an online review - which I have not done in years. Fair is fair, their takeout coffees and pastries are tremendous, and the barista staff has always been pleasant to me. But that is clearly their strength. We would not come here for a meal again.
