I am new to Miami moving from the Northeast. I noticed that food is prepared down here VERY differently. A lot of unnecessary fusions. And applying a Spanish flare to basic American dish. I have had A LOT of misses in ordering. Beijing Garden is the first Chinese food restaurant that reminds me of Chinese food back in the Northeast!! It made me feel more secure being in a new place. Their shrimp lo mein and Chinese vegetables..DELICIOUS!!

Vegetable egg roll was decent. Chicken with broccoli was inedible. Just more proof that good Chinese food simply does not exist in miami. Chicken with broccoli had a terrible rotten chemical taste to it. Threw it away. Last hope was the chicken rice soup which I started to eat a few hours later.. was surprised that the taste wasn't all that bad.. until I found a dead cockroach INSIDE of it (of course after I had eaten half).. immediately threw that away as well after washing my mouth out with dial soap. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.. honestly cockroaches in my food should have been expected after seeing what the place looked like when picking up my food. Horrific.

HORRIBLE and TASTELESS. Special fried rice ordered with no pork or beef. According to the restaurant manager ham is not pork. CLUELESS.

DO NOT GO HERE! We SPECIFICALLY order special fried rice with no beef or pork. After driving 20 minutes from our home to pick this order up we arrive to find HAM all throughout the meal. When we call to tell the supposed manager they argued that ham is not pork. Not sure what type of restaurant this is but very concerning that they do not respect dietary restrictions nor are capable of helping in a situation where they were completely at fault. Beside this issue the food is NOT GOOD, forcing us to take pictures of this Chicken and broccoli that is barely cooked correctly and is tasteless. Don't waste your time or money at this establishment.

Delicious Chinese food! I ordered carry out from this restaurant tonight and I've got nothing but great things to say. First of all, the person that answered the phone was friendly and understood exactly what we wanted. What's even better is that she told us our food would be ready in 10 minutes. Yay for speed! Within 10 minutes we arrived to pick up our food and it was all ready. Total time from ordering to picking up to getting back home was 25 minutes! We ordered the General tso's chicken, the honey garlic chicken, pork fried rice, 2 egg rolls and a quart of egg drop soup. Total price $26.00. The General tso's chicken was crispy, flavorful, not too sweet and not overly drenched in sauce. It was delicious! The honey garlic chicken was extra crispy and I really liked how they gave the honey on the side to prevent it from getting soggy. Both meals came with pork fried rice. The rice was loaded with chunks of pork, vegetables and bean sprouts. It was great! My favorite part of the meal were the egg rolls. Talk about YUM! They were large and so crispy crunchy fresh. I feel like I could've eaten just egg rolls for dinner and I would've been completely satisfied. Each meal was very large too-- about enough to feed two hungry people. At $8.75 per meal, what a great deal! This place gets 5 stars for excellent fast service, superb quality of food, large portions and low prices.

I had a delivery ordered to my hotel, the lady said 45 mins but it took an hour. My order came with no napkins, no chopsticks, no spoon for my hot and sour soup. Food was horrible, I can taste the msg and very salty. The combination appetizer which came with crab rangoon have no meat, BBQ ribs was chewy and rough, chicken wings came with feathers. I am done.

Yummy. As promised to the very friendly lady, Fennie, hope I spelled it correctly, thank you and I will be back again.

Food is really good. Best Chinese I've had in a long time. We order all the time. The vegetable fried rice is the best.

Good food and they deliver. Thick accents but confirms they're the real. Very nice and haven't made any mistakes. Great cheap Chinese.

Hakkasan is quite a special restaurant. If you're looking for a very high end dim sum experience,…read morethis is the place. The ambiance is moody and sexy. The service is top notch with extreme attention to detail. We were celebrating my friend's birthday so we went all out and did the Taste of Hakkasan Prix Fixe menu for $175. It was so much food but everything was phenomenal. I especially enjoyed the duck, all of the dumplings, the sea bass and beef tenderloin. But the flavors were great in every dish. Between the two of us, we had a ton of leftovers which wasn't ideal as we were staying in a hotel. We asked for a mini fridge and munched on the very expensive leftovers it in between activities. Although it was extremely pricey, we had a lovely experience and I'd love to go back when feasible.

The service was incredibly slow, and our waiter Juan Pablo was unfriendly and completely inattentive throughout the meal. He made Mother's Day brunch at Hakkasan a bad experience. The restaurant wasn't even half full, yet it took forever just to place our order, have dishes cleared, and get drink refills. On top of the poor service, the brunch menu has become extremely limited. They no longer offer the dim sum platters as pictured in the advertisement and many of our favorite dishes including the venison and pumpkin puffs are no longer on the menu. We loved bringing our parents here for dim sum and to celebrate special occasions, but after today, this will definitely be our last visit. What should have been a special Mother's Day celebration ended up being a huge disappointment.

Located off Stirling Road (accessible from both directions), Hong's BBQ sits amongst the various shops that make up the Stirling Place Plaza. If you're here based off your search for food around the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel Hollywood, you've got the same idea as us and this review is for you; Hong's is essentially "around the corner" from the casino and a great option if you want to venture off the resort for some great food. Recommended by a source for reliable eats, we decided to give Hong's BBQ a go before our trip back to Tampa. We found that Hong's BBQ has some great authentic Canto-style Chinese cuisine. Not big by any means (you can't necessarily host a large banquet style gathering here), there is definitely ample seating - mainly suited for parties of 4. We came around 1pm on a Sunday and had no issues being seated - although the restaurant maintained a steady flow of customers in and out of the restaurant. There are a few larger round tables scatter throughout with the typical lazy-susan setup in the center that may accommodate larger parties of 6-8. If you're not interested in dining-in, there is definitely a "butcher's" station/display that is set up toward the back of the dining section. The setup within the restaurant definitely brought back nostalgic memories of Chinatown restaurants and their racks of char-siu, roast duck, pig, and soy chicken hanging under the heating lamps. From here, you can order cuts of the aforementioned meats by weight without the "extras." The menu offered a great variety of Canto-style cuisine; I would argue that it's hard to go wrong with a choice based on their selections they have available. We ordered two noodle soups (roast duck and char siu), along with an order of the beef chow fun, which were all outstanding. Beginning with the noodle soups, you have 3 different noodle options; I opted for the flat rice noodles which I instantly craved upon identifying it as a choice. The noodles were cooked to al-dente perfection that had a good amount of "bounce" while easy to chew. The broth was also on a whole other level that warrants praise in itself. The beef chow fun is also a must - yes, I recognize that this may be considered a "basic" choice, but Hong's BBQ makes this the right way. The service wasn't poor - let's just say that it falls in line with the coveted 3-star Asian restaurant rating (If you know, you know). The servers knew how and when to deliver. All in all, Hong's BBQ is a great place to dine with your family. I would recommend this to anyone in or travelling to this area.

Heard about this place and wanted to try it's BBQ and roasted meats…read more We stopped by on a Thursday evening around 5. The eatery seats about 40 and is clean and simply decorated. It was empty. But it slowly got more diners, with about 5 tables filled before we left. Service was fine but the waitress who took our order barely spoke English and it was difficult getting answers about items on the menu. Nevertheless, we ordered pan-fried dumplings, the three meat combo plate with roast duck, BBQ roast pork, and crispy pork. We also got a seafood platter with salt and pepper shrimp, squid, and scallops. The latter didn't have much taste. We couldn't even taste any salt and pepper. The dish came on a bed of shredded raw cabbage. There was no rice. When I asked, the server (a different one from the woman who took our order) brought us a small bowl. They had forgotten to put the rice on the plate. (The dish is advertised as being served on a bed of rice.) The meat platter was decent. Although the duck skin needed to be crispier, the pork skin was very crispy. The BBQ roast pork was tasty, boasting a nice char siu flavor. The few strands of Chinese broccoli that was served with the dish was cold, as if it was added from the refrigerator. We enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings. They seemed to be homemade. One appetizer, two entrees, tax, and tip was $66.
