YUMMY! I tried out this place near Downtown Miami, which is about 1 mile. It's a hole in the wall, and inside dining is not available. So it's take-out only. You order from an outdoor window. The prices are extremely reasonable especially their lunch menu. I got pork fried rice with pepper steak and a can of Spirite for $10.75 off their lunch special. Ordered Szechuan beef and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon had a mostly empty pocket in the middle with small traces of cream cheese. Beef came out hot which was good. It had a lot of sauce, but the flavor was not good and the beef was chewy and very wet. Not at all what I was expecting. My friend and I could barely stomach any of it. I am new to Miami moving from the Northeast. I noticed that food is prepared down here VERY differently. A lot of unnecessary fusions. And applying a Spanish flare to basic American dish. Vegetable egg roll was decent. Chicken with broccoli was inedible. Just more proof that good Chinese food simply does not exist in miami. Chicken with broccoli had a terrible rotten chemical taste to it. Threw it away. Last hope was the chicken rice soup which I started to eat a few hours later.. was surprised that the taste wasn't all that bad.. until I found a dead cockroach INSIDE of it (of course after I had eaten half).. immediately threw that away as well after washing my mouth out with dial soap. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.. honestly cockroaches in my food should have been expected after seeing what the place looked like when picking up my food. Horrific. read more

This is the best Chinese I've found in Miami so far, but with that being said, the bar is literally on the floor. I'm used to the classic Chinese places you would find in NYC... The lo mein was actually pretty good. Egg roll was flavorless and crab Rangoons tasted off - a little stale or overcooked or something. General Taos chicken was bad.. the chicken texture was very strange and the flavor did not taste like any traditional general Taos I've ever had, I had to toss it. Overall 3 stars in comparison to other options around here because at least the food didn't taste like rotten chemicals like every other place I've tried. DO NOT GO HERE! We SPECIFICALLY order special fried rice with no beef or pork. After driving 20 minutes from our home to pick this order up we arrive to find HAM all throughout the meal. When we call to tell the supposed manager they argued that ham is not pork. Not sure what type of restaurant this is but very concerning that they do not respect dietary restrictions nor are capable of helping in a situation where they were completely at fault. Delicious Chinese food! I ordered carry out from this restaurant tonight and I've got nothing but great things to say. First of all, the person that answered the phone was friendly and understood exactly what we wanted. What's even better is that she told us our food would be ready in 10 minutes. Yay for speed! Within 10 minutes we arrived to pick up our food and it was all ready. Total time from ordering to picking up to getting back home was 25 minutes! We ordered the General tso's chicken, the honey garlic chicken, pork fried rice, 2 egg rolls and a quart of egg drop soup. Total price $26.00. The General tso's chicken was crispy, flavorful, not too sweet and not overly drenched in sauce. It was delicious! The honey garlic chicken was extra crispy and I really liked how they gave the honey on the side to prevent it from getting soggy. Both meals came with pork fried rice. The rice was loaded with chunks of pork, vegetables and bean sprouts. It was great! My favorite part of the meal were the egg rolls. Talk about YUM! They were large and so crispy crunchy fresh. I feel like I could've eaten just egg rolls for dinner and I would've been completely satisfied. Each meal was very large too-- about enough to feed two hungry people. The best Chinese I have had in Miami! I ordered the general joes chicken I asked for it to be extra crispy and it was beyond delicious. I also really liked that they had a small portion and a large portion especially since I just wanted to cheat on my diet just a little. This place is not much to look at from the outside (or the inside, for that matter) but the Cantonese like grub is fresh, hot, plentiful and economical. It helps if you speak español (or mandarin, maybe) but that's not a dealbreaker. The General Tso's combo platter is excellent. read more

This was not an effective restaurant. We placed an order at 8:30 PM and they close at 10:00 PM. They delayed the arrival eta three separate times and then cancelled the order altogether with no notice or updates. They did not pick up their phone and their answering machine did not work. Good New York Chinese is hard to find in Miami. By that, I mean not the more authentic Chinese in the style of Blackbrick or Hutong (both delicious!), but NY Chinatown Chinese food. This is the closest I've found. read more

Excellent food for the price and location. Remember this is a 'hood spot' in East Little Havana (the hood). Don't expect a luxury chinese restaurant. If you want plates and napkins with your food you have to ask for it. They close at 10p but most of the time will take orders for delivery right until closing time. It is a family run business with the exception of the waitress that is hispanic and speaks spanish due to the area demographics. I usually order the beef lo mein and egg drop soup.
