They use non scented oil and will remove most of it afterward it with a warmed wet towel. There's quiet music in the background. My session started out with my feet in a tub of warm water while I sat back and had my temples, face, neck and head rubbed. They took their time with my arms, my legs, quite a bit of time on my feet and back, loved it. The facility is quiet, clean, and the staff is friendly. After our other massage place confused our scheduled time, we called Beijing Foot Massage and they were able to squeeze my husband and I in last minute. They are adequately staffed which was a big plus, since there were 2 of us and we were on a time crunch (we had movie tix @ Alamo). When you first walk in to the massage area, it seems a little awkward since its a big room with about 5 beds in the center and then mini curtained off rooms to the side. You basically walk in on others getting their massages. We were already there, so we said what the hey, lets give it a try. We did the 30 minute foot massage which was amazing!!! They put a towel over your eyes, so you can't peek over at your neighbor and soak your feet in warm water. Then the magic begins. The towels smell clean and the ladies were super nice. I got my mom a GC for a foot rub here. She doesn't yelp, but since these guys are new, I thought I'd give them a review on her behalf. She loved her 1 hour foot massage, which was actually a head-to-toe massage. She said her masseuse (female) gave a good, strong massage, and that they were very attentive to where she wanted them to focus. The place was minimalist but clean, and the staff is very nice but you may wish to note that they don't speak English very well. Still, that didn't cause too much of an issue with me buying the GC or her getting the massage. They have a loyalty card where after 10 massages you get a free one. This place is amazing. I don't live in this area and found this place on Yelp! So glad I did. They are awesome. That was the most relaxing massage ever and I get them often. So I never really had a butt massage before, but I have now, it is a muscle . (If you are weird about proximity this is not the place for you. I feel the need to update my review with a little more information. I'm 6 months pregnant and have a horrible sinus infection. I've felt horrible for about 4 days and really just wanted something to help relax me a bit. Being that they are a little rough with their massages and don't speak much English, I was hesitant to go in pregnant, but I was desperate for some good sleep. A friend went in with me. We walked in around 8:45pm without an appointment. Last time I tried calling, I couldn't understand anything the woman said, so I skipped trying to call this time. The man asked if we had an appointment and I said "no." The look on his face told me this might be a problem. Seconds later, a guy walked in behind us and then two girls came in right after him. None of them had appointments either. After some people going back and forth, a girl came from the back that spoke great English and said that they could take three people at 9:30pm. I pointed to my belly and asked if it would be okay and she said "oh sure." We came back at 9:30pm and they were ready for us. I will call next time. I wasn't sure how they were going to accommodate their tables for me, but she knew just what to do. Her and one of the guys got busy making the back sit up about 45 degrees. They gave me numerous pillows behind my back to make sure I was comfy. She began massaging my face.... hallelujah! That was heaven. Wish I would have asked for more. She then moved to my feet and lower legs. It felt great. She was gentle but not too gentle... it's my legs after all. She then asked me to sit up and put pillows in my lap so she could massage my back. She then climbed on the massage table behind me and proceeded to give me a great back rub. I was thrilled with the accommodations and pressure. Best prenatal massage I have had in a while and I slept better that night than I had in 4 days! read more

Everyone was rAving about this place so I hit it up! Yes you walk in an choose from a menu of services. I picked $40 1 1/2 hour foot, shoulder/arm/scalp, and back massage. They take you to a room with 8 other beds for your all massages except the back. They have individual rooms for that. Everything was very relaxing with fish tanks and water noises in background. The only reason I didn't give it 5stars is because the back massage left me a little uneasy. Not what I am use to at all! And even though my 1 1/2 hr massage turned into more of 1 3/4 hrs once I was done they seemed to rush you out. I will go back again for all but the back portion. This place is amazing. Don't be fooled by the rundown shopping center it's located in; this place is top notch. I carry a lot of heavy gear on a daily basis, so I have sore back and feet all the time. After trying a few of the larger chain massage places and not having a great experience, I decided to give this place a try after reading all the great Yelp reviews. Boy was I glad I did. They took me as a walk-in and only had to wait a few minutes before they took me back to a private room. They soaked my feet in a hot bath with epsom salts and essential oils and then proceeded to work on my back, hands, calves, and feet. It was the most relaxing hour of my life. They didn't shy away from digging in deep to really get at the sore spots, and their technique was solid and comfortable. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or like the pressure was too much or too little. It was perfect from start to finish. I just discovered this place yesterday on the word of a friend and I love it. It's in a little strip mall and definitely has a very homey feel to it. I walked in and was lying on a table within 5 minutes. I'm not posting a 5 star review due to the language barrier. They speak very little English, not even enough to alter any of their menu items so you point and that's what you get. There was a communal area, but also some curtained off spaces. As I went for a back massage, I ended up in one of the rooms. Everything was clean. The space was comfortable, dark and quiet. I stripped down to nothing but panties, but I think in the future, i would probably forgo even them as they got in the way a bit. The massage was therapeutic and by that, I meant it hurt. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt most people as much as it did me, I have a plethora of knots, and sore spots that need working out. My masseur's knowledge of pressure points and homeopathy was evident. I have to say I feel much better today. I definitely need to learn how to say "Not quite so hard" in Chinese (not sure which dialect though). I have every intention of going back. I have been getting a 90-minute deep tissue massage every two weeks for twenty plus years; made necessary by back issue from basketball (eventually had successful surgery). This is a hidden little gem, gang. Trust in me. The reasons I like this place are as follows: You can show up anytime unannounced and get right in usually with no wait. The girls really work hard here to make sure they get your knots out. The last time I visited, the young lady climbed up on my back and was using her knees to get my demons out. This was a first and a fun experience! They also don't charge incredibly high rates and you can even go for a hand or simply neck massage. There is a slight language barrier here so if you're short fused this may be frustrating for you. I would describe this business as unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment online, but they had no record of my appointment when I arrived. I was handed a menu of services and asked to select from there. The menu prices were different than what I saw online. I asked for the one-hour foot/back/arm/head massage. They did not speak English well, so communication was difficult. I was led to a dark back room to lay down and place my feet in boiling hot water. I requested to add cold water for it to become tolerable for my feet. The lady started with my head and arms. She was too rough and rushing too fast with her movements. This was not a relaxing massage. Then she moved to my feet. Midway through the foot portion, she leaves me and a different lady arrives to continue. There was no explanation for the change. The second lady was better with her technique and worked at a more comfortable pace. About three or four times during my massage, the business phone rang, and the ladies would stop my massage to answer the phone. They did not have a dedicated receptionist. My massage lasted a full hour as advertised. I returned to the front to pay when finished. I paid with a credit card and tipped an additional 10% on what I considered poor service. The lady who started my massage had the audacity to tell me they normally receive higher tips and that I should tip more because it is hard work. I have never in my life been asked to increase my tip. I grudgingly increased my tip to 25%, and the lady seemed to approve. I asked for a copy of my receipt and was told they could not print one for me because I did not request the receipt before they ran my credit card. I experienced too many negatives due to their poorly run business. This was my first and my last visit. read more
