Beijing Palace was a disappointing experience overall. The food was excessively expensive, and they charged us for tea that wasn't even listed on the menu or mentioned beforehand. Both the orange chicken and General Tso's chicken tasted nearly identical and were severely undercooked. To make matters worse, the service was poor. The staff yelled at us during our visit, and as we were leaving, they aggressively demanded a tip, which left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. The owner came out and started screaming "tip or die" 3 times at us while walking out the door. Given the high prices, misleading charges, bad food quality, and unprofessional behavior, I would strongly advise against dining at Beijing Palace. read more

We went to the restaurant when it was not crowded, with about 45 people present. However, by the time we left, it was packed. The first thing we ordered was the soup, which they served hot and spicy. Next, we enjoyed a delicious egg roll. I ordered the Hunan chicken, while my wife had the egg foo young, which was delicious. Been going there since recommended by my friend George, and have never had a bad experience. Watched all 3 kids get born (pix on the wall) and love being recognized when I come in. Don't go there often, (budget), but even getting a pint of Fried Rice and a quart of WonTon soup to go is a treat. Excellent lunch menu and even better dinners to be had. And tea that is NOT watered down so much it's tasteless. Try it, you'll go back often. read more
