Shrimp Chow Mein and Roast Pork Fried Rice

Great taste! I had it delivered to my house and it was like 15 minutes away. But when I got it, food was still super hot and the flavor was spot on. I did get shrimp chow mein, and there were no noodles. I was confused but the flavor made up for the missing noodles. Definitely recommend!

I love Chinese food but don't eat it often. Last place I used to go to lost me as a customer when their quality went down and their prices went up. Gave the Wok Inn a try a couple of weeks ago, and they are my new go to place for Chinese Food. Had the General Tso's Chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup. Everything was hot and fresh. Good portions size, and the food tasted great. Went back a few nights ago and tried the Singapore Mei Fun (Angel Hair size Noodles). Had a curry seasoning, some fresh veggies, and chicken. Another hit. Had to get some more General Tso's Chicken with white rice this time. Another thumbs up. I ate in the restaurant both times. It was clean, service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. If you're in the mood for Chinese and you're near BB Blvd and Military, this is the place to go.

Wok inn is my favorite place to get GOOD Chinese food. Their combos are fairly priced and the portions are perfect. I was actually sad when I moved away from Boynton but now that I'm back it's my go to.

Excellent food, carefully packed with condiments and Togo silverware. Most likely to reorder some of the food items in the future.

Wok Inn used to be our favorite takeout place for years! Until this Saturday when we ordered our usual, vegetable Mei Fun for me and Beef and Broccoli for my hubby . How surprised I was to find instead of several brightly colored veggies in midst some yummy seasoned rice noodles a plain looking dish of rice noodles with 4 pieces of broccoli, 2 thin mushroom slices and a bunch of scallions! My hubby was equally disappointed with his extremely chewy beef, which was nothing we experienced in the past. We wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more for the same quality food but this was unacceptable

FAKE Food. Apparently, it is ok with this restaurant to sell things that are not what you think they are. This restaurant is selling Scallops that are really FAKE CRAB MEAT. I ordered by phone and was pleased that the appetizer was under $6 for 12 scallops, and assumed they would be tiny. I ordered TWO portions of this appetizer. What I received was NOT scallops at all, but FAKE CRAB MEAT breaded and fried. Gross! They tasted strange, so I pulled off the breading and the "scallop" unrolled....like FAKE CRAB MEAT, which it was. THIS IS LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. It is UNETHICAL to mis label and mis categorize food. It is illegal if the "mystery meat/food causes a food allergy which I am not claiming, but one has to wonder if they are lying about one item, they are probably lying about other items on the menu as well. TAKE CARE as if something is misrepresented, you may have allergies to the actual item. Tomorrow I will call the Palm Beach Health department. If a restaurant is mislabeling foods, then what else are they doing? How do you know what on the menu is what they are saying it is? Also, the won ton soup was revolting. It was yellow and had a faint smell of urine. Not-edible. When I called the restaurant about this order, the person who took my call admitted that the Scallops are NOT SCALLOPS and said no one had ever questioned it before. She additionally said the smell and colour of the won ton is intentional because it has ginger in it. (I use ginger and it never smells like urine) I asked for a refund and I was refused. BEWARE of restaurants that lie about the food. Let's hope the Health Dept can sort it out.

The vegetables sandwich that I ordered had so much oil but fortunately the bread soaked up some of it, so I just discarded the bread. My wife's salad with fish was very good. Also, the fruit served with my sandwich? Just perfectly ripe and enjoyable. One of the things that cracked me up here, being a laid back Texas boy, was over hearing all the incessant, noisy, nasal New York Jewish ladies whining, commiserating and ruminating with each other at the other tables. That was entertaining. I had thought about asking about the homemade desserts but the staff was slammed I guess cause no one came around to check on how things were going and if we needed anything else. Just as well. Their was a lively group of people at the bar, we got the last couple spots that were open. The very friendly bartender, who smiling might of been his favorite thing, was quick with the menus. We had just come from dinner so we focused on the drink menu. My gal got a nice red. They served it in a wonderfully different wide orb of a glass. The cocktail menu felt purposefully sparse. Third down just said it was their margarita. I made the call, and it was a good call. their margarita was on point, solid. It's a smaller place. It actually is 2 small places connected, with a larger dinning room next door. I did spot a piano in the back. I think we will plan a dinner sometime back when there might be some tunes.

We got there early for our reservation, but it was a busy night and the inside table I had already requested and reserved was given away so we had to sit outside. We asked about seating in the bar but we were told it was booked by a private party. (No one for this party showed up from 7:30-9:30 and the bar was as empty when we left as when we arrived.) They did have portable heaters outside so it wasn't too cold, but again, not what I requested or reserved. Our server was friendly and greeted us immediately, explaining the nightly special. We started with the Hamachi appetizer, a fun mix of yellowtail with passionfruit and gochujang. Everything about it was delicious but the yellowtail tasted much fishier than we've had elsewhere. Then the waiting game started. After waiting nearly 40 minutes our server brought the appetizer again so we had to assume he'd put a hold on our order and forgotten it. I went in to ask a few minutes later and our food was just now being staged. I don't mine if things happen, it's life, but tell us up front, say "whoops" and we will move on... Our dinner finally came out and it was really good! - The lovely Spensyr had the Table Wedge Salad, an interesting mix of Bibb lettuce, pork belly, and Tahini ranch, with a sun dried tomato compote. - I had the hangar steak with crispy fried potato and sautéed veg. It was delicious. Because of the earlier wait and mix up, we were offered complimentary desserts. Spensyr got their Key Lime pie and loved it, I got their white chocolate passionfruit cake dome thing and we each thought ours was better. * All in all it was a mixed bag. Apart from the overly fishy appetizer, all our food was delicious. The service was great, except for when they forgot us. The restaurant was comfortable and pleasant other than being kept outside in the cold with an entire empty bar.

Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl.
