I was craving Chinese food so I decided to try this place for takeout. This was by Farr some of the best Chinese I have had in a very long time! Starting off, the price is right. Their lunch combination is a killer deal. $9 for your choice of meat, chicken fried rice, and a choice of rangoons or soup. The portion was HUGE. I will easily get 2-3 meals out of this! It also came with the crunchy little wontons and fortune cookies. I also added the egg roll for $3!!!! Another thing to note is the cleanliness of this restaurant. The front of the house is well maintained, which I appreciated. They also have sauces available and plastic silverware so you can help yourself . The staff was extremely friendly, efficient, and my order was waiting for me when I walked in! On top of price and a decent restaurant, they offer online ordering which is everyone's dream for take out!!!! We have not been out for Chinese food in a while. Japanese, Vietnamese yes - but not Chinese because it has been difficult to find good Chinese food. We tried Chinatown and we're very happy we found great Chinese Food, excellent service and very comfortable surroundings. We had ribs and Udon noodles. Everything must have been made to order (or at the very least assembled to order) as it was all up to temperature and tasted like it was just made. Overcooked, overly sauced, greasy, slimy food. Hot & sour soup was awful. Eggrolls were awful. They tasted almost stale. Every dish that we ordered was just awful. IF they started with ANY fresh ingredients, you would never know it! Everything was cooked to death. For those who do not like Chinese food, this would justify all of your objections. Very disappointed today with our takeout. Is it under new management? Lackluster food all around. Soups, wonton and a mixed soup, were mediocre. Egg roll was totally mushy inside and super greasy outside. Spare ribs were very fatty. My hubby didn't like his chicken curry dish and my lo mein was meh. All leftovers going in the garbage tonight. Always have great egg rolls and Hot & Sour soup.That's about it. A couple of weeks ago I had boneless spare ribs. They had tons of fat! A while ago I had Shrimp & Lobster Sauce and the sauce was watery junk. I had it again after a while and told them to make it thicker - it was. Then, today I tried it again and told the lady to make sure it wasn't watery. She wrote "More Corn Starch" right on the bill. Guess what? It was garbage - way too watery! We ordered spare ribs, shrimp fried rice, mah po tofu -spicy, beef and broccoli (my least favorite) and egg rolls. It was very good though when we went to pick it up and we asked for mustard they assured us that there was plenty I there but there wasn't any! We like to mix the duck sauce with the mustard- yes not the worst thing in the world but it was just funny that they said don't worry! We will go back another time for sure! I placed an order through Yelp on Saturday night and everything went smooth and the food tasted good! It was super easy to order through the Yelp app and I could track the progress of the order. Upon ordering it said the food would be delivered by 9:26pm. It arrived right around 9pm so it was much quicker than expected! They packed in all the necessary sauces for our order without having to add a note for them. The pork egg rolls were crispy on the outside with perfectly cooked pork and veggies inside. The beef lo mein isn't something I normally order and I really liked it. The sauce wasn't overpowering, the noodles were cooked perfectly and there was a decent amount of beef included. Next we had the steamed pork dumplings and krab rangoons, again both cooked nicely and had great flavor. The last item we ordered, the fried wontons, were probably my least favorite. They may have been a little too over fried or else they don't have much filling. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the quick delivery! I'll definitely order again when craving Chinese food. read more

This is the first time trying Chinatown. I have to say I agree with the other reviews that say the food was very bland. On first glance everything looked really good, sauces were a nice rich, dark color. But the flavor just wasn't there. Chicken and broccoli was very bland, chicken with cashew nuts same, bland. Also lots of green peppers and I don't know that I remember it being prepared that way? Also the chicken fried rice had an odd, starchy flavor but was also in need of something. We also got fried dumplings and and egg roll which were actually pretty good. Sadly I had to douse everything else with soy sauce. I'm very neutral when it comes to Chinatown. I thought the food was ok, kinda sweet for my taste. The pieces were way to big in the curries we ordered and the fried rice didn't have a lot of meat. The food didn't taste bad but nothing really stood out. The customer service is what got them the 2 stars. The woman at the front seemed as if she was there to collect payment and nothing else. No smile, no thank you, even when I tried to mention how cool it was to be able to see the cooks cooking, like an open concept, she just ignored me and handed me the receipt. I even said thank you and she just walked away. Probably wouldn't go back there after eating the food but that lady already helped make that decision before I did. read more
