Luckily, the fries here are absolutely fantastic. First of all, it is very crispy but also airy. Just as important for me though is how potato-y it always tastes. As a complete package, it is one of the best fries in all of NYC imho. My favorite sauces Roasted Garlic Aioli and Black Truffle Mayo. On my most recent visit, I had the limited time Fries Cream, which is a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of a bunch of fries. While I visited the Macy's Holiday Square pop up shop, not the original, I still have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The man working the stand was incredibly sweet and inviting, the ordering process was very quick, my food came out in a very timely manner, and it even came in a very convenient cone shape with a sauce attachment, making it very convenient to eat on the go. The fries were tasty and imo balanced out the plain tasting chicken nuggets, but they did add too much salt because all of the fries at the bottom were blech with the salt that shifted downward. I think their bottom fries would be tastier and less likely to accumulate excess salt if they added seasoning when frying instead of afterwards. The service was fast and friendly. Stopped by here while checking out food in the area and seeing there was a fry spot which I love. I got the Cajun fries which came with two sauces one I believe with their truffle sauce and the other was like a barbecue sauce. I was not a fan of the barbecue sauce, but the truffle sauce was good. My sister also got mozzarella sticks and fries and loved it. The menu has a lot of different fry options which is really cool that range from I believe $12-$15. Service was OK nothing to brag over. My friend and I did a food tour in the city and we came across this spot as we wandered in the Lower East Side. Note: it is a walkup counter with a couple tables so be mindful of the limited seating. We just got the classic in small - we didn't want to pay for dipping sauce so we just went with the default ketchup. The fries were well seasoned and were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside - the way fries should be. Prices were alright for NYC. As for the service...not sure but the cashier seems to be a bit shady. The couple ahead of us left the screen on the tip page so we had to wait until the screen was ready for our transaction, but the cashier seems to have filled out the tip field himself. Thanks for the bacon generosity!!! - the cajun fries 4/5 were seasoned perfectly and they came with 2 sauces (not pictured) we got the samurai sauce 4.5/5 and frite sauce 2.5/5. The fries paired great with the sauces. The samurai sauce was tart and had a lytle heat which was great. The frite sauce had a thick mayo feeling and tast that I didn't enjoy but my friend did. - the popcorn chicken and fries 3.5/5 felt like a McDonalds old school chicken tender chicken which i enjoyed.
