I have taken our cars to Bel Kirk a couple times over the last 10 years or so. They have always been kind and considerate in providing estimates and performing quality work. I realize there are larger shops with shiny new shops with neon lighting, but that does not make their work good. Bel Kirk is a bit old school in their approach to using workmanship with the newest products and techniques. It might take a little while to get in, but if you can wait for an opening at their shop, I would wait for them. read more

I just got my car back from BelKirk Body Shop - they did fantastic work. I got a couple of quotes and asked some questions before deciding where to go. I'm a single female and always worry when taking my car anywhere about being talked down to and treated poorly, this wasn't the case here! I was treated VERY well at BelKirk - they answered my questions, were clear about what they did and didn't know with the estimate (and that they'll only know more once they started the work), and communicated well during the work (love their text messaging system). Tyler also communicated via email and was very responsive. When I picked up my car everyone was so friendly. Just an overall great experience. I would HIGHLY recommend BelKirk! read more

The atmosphere the shop gave to me was outstanding. I took in my WRX Wagon to get my rear fenders rolled. The shop owner came up to me before the work got started to make sure their quality of work was to my satisfaction. That imediately put a smile on my face. Everyone I spoke to was super cool and friendly to get along with. I felt like I was hanging out talking about cars, rather than having work get done. Kyle was the guy I worked with most of the time. I rarely write reviews. Tyler and the crew at bel Kirk deserve recognition for some custom work done to my 2014 GTR. I had a custom carbon fiber hood partially painted to match the factory paint. These guys did a good job. End product looks great. I also had a custom carbon fiber trunk and wing installed. They lined everything up. No issues. Tyler is very professional. Always prompt to respond. Highly recommended. Update 10/27/17 Had Tyler and Kyle clear coat and install some carbon fiber mirrors on my GTR. I was told fairly difficult install due to removal of the OEM internals and transplanting those into the carbon mirrors. These guys did an outstanding job as usual. read more

Well, yesterday I had the worst experience at this business. The owner said she would look at the damage for free. I told her it was more mechanical damage. I go home and limp my vehicle down to the shop. She sends a guy named Bob from next door at Clarks to look at my vehicle. He did, from the parking lot and said if I have to write something up it will be a hundred dollars. Another lesson that misrepresentation gets you in and it is up to you to realize a poor company and to get out. The body shop is in cahoots with them as well. I suggest Les Schwab to have your vehicle looked at. Not only free but great people too. I went to the Kirkland store. They are now fixing my vehicle. read more

My recent fender bender involved someone backing into my wife's car. At a stop light of all things. My wife's car had a custom bumper cover installed that was no longer made. As it was fiberglass, my local shop would not work on it. I had heard of Bel kirk thru some other folks, so I decided to give them a call. The people seemed courteous. I got a call confirming my appointment a day before scheduled service. Mid week I also got another call giving me an update on the progress. The bumper looked great. These guys are amazing! Starting with Jennyfer at the front desk who is SO nice and on top of everything. I love the text service that keeps me updated on the status of my repair. The car looks brand new and not every part was replaced, which means these guys have some serious skills. The repair was complete one day earlier than expected. My car was ran into by a diesel truck at my work parking lot. Damage was minimal. A little damage to the paint and passenger side bumper. The insurance carrier of the at fault person was a nightmare to deal with. But Jennifer and the rest of the crew at Bel-Kirk auto made it so convenient for my schedule. Jennifer was so amazing. Someone busted my driver's side windshield and I went to these guys to have it fixed. I didn't want it on my insurance record and figured it would be below premium anyway so paid out of pocket. First of all, they charged me over $600 to fix the window. I drive a 2008 Toyota Yaris. Second, I had inquired about them fixing a dent on the passenger side. Long story short, there were major communication issues and when I went to pick up my car, expecting the dent to be fixed, the owner virtually bellowed at me asking if I had specifically authorised the work. It was such poor behaviour, I ignored him. I was just happy to be out of that place - folks were incomprehensibly unfriendly. So, poor customer service and terrible prices. And, very out of the way for me. I liked the office dog, I guess. But then I love dogs. I will never use this shop. read more

If you have a German car, forget about this place. StartFarm recommended this place for my Audi Q3 after it was hit by someone near Bellevue library, the car has been there for over two months. Given there are delays from getting the parts from Germany, the shop should provide more realistic estimate. But it sends me text message update regularly which is obviously out of sync with reality, and when I call to ask for status, many times no body at the shop seems to know what's going on with the car. read more

They made daily phone calls, emails,etc. to try and get my car back to me. I had my accident in Seattle, I live in Blaine, Wa. So I am 100 miles north, they pulled out all the stops for me & I couldn't be more grateful. They are an amazing family owned business of 40 years. I felt so bad for being such a nightmare case for them. They however made me like so much better & that they genuinely cared. I am in the process of building up my truck as an off-road camper. Bel-Kirk has been incredibly helpful prepping, painting, and installing body parts and mechanical parts that I brought to the shop. They have clearly laid out their estimates and held to those estimates even when things didn't work as expected. They seem very disorganized, they kept calling and texting about an appointment that was set and when you get there, they aren't very friendly and there's really no where to park... I've read some of the negative reviews, all I can say is "get a life"... Auto body shops get smeared some much they must taste like peanut butter! This place was respectful and straightforward with me throughout the time it took to get the work done. Be reasonable and you will get treated better. I was towed from Winthrop,WA after hitting a deer. the whole front end of my Tacoma was wasted, BUT the airbags didn't deploy, which was what most likely saved my truck from being totaled. The deer ended up in the engine well...it must have been cold. I talked to Jim at Bel Kirk, and I was towed here because Allstate suggested it....AND I had seen them there for years and years. Jim was very professional and explained the whole thing about replacement parts. they gave me a timeline for the work to be done, AND THEY FOLLOWED IT. It was done when they said it was going to be done...who does that anymore? These guys do. I also had some scratches left over that I thought were from either the tow truck or some other cause ...they were by the drivers side wheel well...So I brought the truck back and told them I thought that that should have been fixed too....again Jim handled well, he looked up pictures that were taken when it was towed in...He couldn't find the scratches so he did the RIGHT thing and set up an appointment to get them fixed. In one day they did the work and now it is as it was before a suicidal DEER jumped in front of it. So I recommend these guys, I think they are family owned, I really like supporting a business like this one. (BTW Nik's Grill is right next door, he makes the BEST burrito's! Seriously don't bother searching elsewhere. These guys are the best! I used to trust my shop in Everett but recently moved and didn't want to make the treck north. I saw really good reviews for this place and figured I would check it out. They are super informative and friendly just from walking in the door. My car had minimal damage, just needed a paint job. They turned my car around in two days AND once I got in realized they were kind enough to vacuum and clean my car (which it was in DESPERATE need of)! The best part though, was when I showed him the other corner I had banged up which was totally my fault. I mentioned if they happened to have leftover paint, to hit that side for me I would really appreciate it. And they said sure no problem! Not only did they fix the original issue, but lent an extra hand to the other corner of my front bumper that they didn't have to! They even sanded off the bit of bumper that was jagged - I could hardly even tell that side apart from the other! So so so grateful for taking my car here. I'm HOPING to not have any more run ins with accidents from other people, but if I do...i'll be heading straight here! read more

Took my vintage motorcycle here after it was banged up by someone reversing into it while parked. Jim did a great job helping me assess the damage, file the insurance claim and then respraying all the body panels: tank; fairing; oil and battery covers; seat tail. He also had his pin striper reproduce the emblems in gold leaf, and add some unique detailing. I couldn't be happier, Jim turned a tragedy into a delight, at a price that didn't break the bank. I brought my car here to get my fender fixed and rolled. I dealt with Tyler who was helpful and provided a lot of information on what my options are and what needed to be done. The quality of the work is good for the price I paid, which I thought was very fair, if not on the lower side. There was minor damage (slight crack underneath the fender) during the fender rolling process, but he was upfront about it. The damage is unnoticeable from the outside so I let it pass, but appreciated that he informed me about it firsthand. Overall, I was happy with the work and will probably be back if I need other services. I should note that there are numerous people working in the facility. I didn't speak to anyone else (but they appeared a little standoffish), and the review was for the work performed and the price quoted from Tyler. read more

Terrible customer service. Quality of work is alright but over priced. I had to pay almost 3,000 to get my bumper replaced. Thought my insurance would cover it but shop lied to the insurance company and charged me a price that they could not of done if the insurance company was involved. I got a 1976 chevrolet put. I've talked a few bodyshop about having worked done to my truck and got lots of info that I didnt want to hear. I took my truck to belkirk body and tyler and jim sat with me to find what I wanted done to it. Both put some hard time finding the right color code for it and I only wanted specific color on it cuz the last shop did a terrible job and it was a wrong color and it peeled. I didnt want to go this far taking it apart but knew they wanted to give me my truck looking right. Work was performed and was put back together. I cannot believe what a beautiful job they done for me. They went more than I expected . If anyone has a car or truck to have work on as I highly recommend you to go check these guys out . They got a big fluffy dog in the back thats super floofy. 5 Stars! But in all honesty, Bel Kirk is the only place where I trust my Evo 8 to be repaired. Been coming to this for over 5 years now, over three different Evos. There is usually never an issue with time schedules, quality of the job or communication. If there is a problem, it will be promptly resolve and their word is law. When they say they'll do something, they mean it. Also, if you need some custom car parts painted or need some custom bodywork done, this is the place to go. Just take a look at the shop cars and you'll see why I picked this place. I have sadly had to have more that one of my vehicles worked on at BelKirk Body Shop. Frank at the front desk is very personable and makes sure you have what you need. Both of the estimators there are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They take your claim number and do everything else for you, rental car, payment, and anything else you may need. They send text messages through out the repairs with updates and keep you informed on everything! The body work and paint work is absolute perfection and my cars came back clean and vacuumed every time. They also have a full mechanical shop on the premises so I was able to get my oil changed while there for work. Best auto shop in the area by far! read more

Horrid experience with everyone from the front office to the staff that worked on my car. My car was not done the date it was supposed to be and they played phone tag with me for the next two days about when it would be completed. Picking the car up when I was finally informed it was ready I waited outside for the car to be washed and headed straight to a car with to clean the remaining dirt from boots and gloves off of the inside of my car. The work done on the car continues to get worse and worse as the paint chips off. Excuse is the body shop before them did a bad job. Family's gone here for years, never will we again. Just left Bel-Kirk Auto Body off I-405 and 116th exit. Phone number 425-823-9303, spoke with Tyler Clark from 'Clark's Wheel Alignment and Brakes' which is part of 'Bel-Kirk Auto Body.' These guys are the real pro's. Not only, did Tyler come out to the Vehicle, inspect it personally, get his boss involved in the inspection, Tyler read very carefully the (10) items, I'd identified which were my concerns. We developed a game plan for my Insurance Company, 'State Farm' whereas I had my Adjuster 'Assign' the Claim to their shop, so they could proceed with the repairs I authorize once the final and preliminary inspections are done. I like to have the Frame inspected, before any Body Work is done, that means taking the time to use their new $50,000 drive on Alignment Rack, this rack is unique, brand new, I've never seen this type before, it's flush with the concrete floor, making it accessable for lowered vehicles and vehicle that have been modified and/or come that way from the factory. Awesome, they are willing to do the Alignment check, seeing if the frame is bent first, I'm concerned what I hit, bend the right front spindle, which would show up on the Alignment check. they are willing to work with me. I love these guys, very professional and knowledgeable. Most Body Shops just want to change parts and do painting, which is nice, but what about bringing the Frame back as good as new...Clarks is owned by Bel Kirk Body shop, so having both the Frame and Body back like new or better is what a Complete Body Shop repair should be like, most Body Shops send out this type of work, the fact they do everything there makes me feel very, very comfortable. I would say without a doubt, Clark's Alignment and Bel-Kirk Body shop is the best Automotive Service Facility on the Eastside of Seattle... read more

Absolutely the worst shop I've ever had to deal with... EVER. I had the pleasure of having my car towed to the nearest shop after a Mercedes crashed into me in Issaquah and the very next day the shop calls me to say they can't fix it. Specifically they can't fix the car because one airbag deployed and that alone costs more the the worth of the car. I get it, my car is old but air bags don't cost more than the $5000 my car is worth. I would've let it go if they hadn't assumed I was some teenager that ran my car into a tree and could have potentially endangered their offspring. They seriously lectured me about the dangers of driving and being careful. Well this is a new service I've never heard of, driving advice from the shop that refuses to fix my car at first look. They sang a different tune once I told them that I was the one that was hit and they were actually really nice. They even started to call me pet names like "honey" and asked if I was doing ok. A service they apparently don't give to the supposedly reckless teenagers of the world. However, this is not what made this shop the worst I ever had to deal with. My nemesis, the Mercedes, had their insurance agents look at my car and scheduled a week ahead of time to have the car picked up from the shop. However, on that very day, the insurance company calls to tell me that I have to talk to the shop because they refused to release my car to the insurance company. Now that's something I've never heard of before. So I called them and they told me that they couldn't release my car to the insurance company because my keys were locked in a safe and the person who has the keys to the safe had the day off. Ignore the pure stupidity of this problem and focus on the fact that this pick-up was scheduled a week ahead of time. They knew the insurance company was coming and yet they left my keys in a safe and then in turn left the keys with someone who they knew never worked that day of the week. Someone obviously had awesome organization skills at this fine establishment. Eventually the insurance company rescheduled. When the insurance company went to pick up my car the second time, I got another "they won't release the car" call. Honestly?? REALLY??? I don't know what they told the insurance company (because it sounded like a more serious matter coming from them) but the shop told me that the reason why they couldn't release my car was because there was another car in their shop that was identical to my car and they couldn't figure out which keys went with which car. ....SERIOUSLY???... The inability to use their powers of deduction was honestly what made them the worst shop I ever had to deal with. The lecturing... that was ok with me and the mess up with the safe was weird but not terrible but not being able to figure out which set of keys were mine? That was the last straw. Honestly, just try one key on one car and if it doesn't fit then it must be the key to the other car! Don't delay my nemesis' insurance company and bother me in the middle of the day to ask what my keys look like! That's not a real problem! Overall, save your time and go to a body shop that possesses the mighty power of deduction! read more

Having to take your car in is generally not something you would put in the "enjoyable" category. Add getting rear ended and dealing with insurance and it can be a total headache. However, Bel Kirk was absolutely exquisite in every aspect from communication, fixing the auto-body damage, fixing the sensors, a deployed airbag and issues with my door lock. Every detail on my Mercedes ML 500 was fixed and done so with absolute attention to detail. The professionalism, compassion and knowledge of their staff, all around, is no doubt a reflection of the impeccable leadership from Diane, who I learned has been the owner of this local shop for over 30 years. After an accident where my car was deemed not drive-able, I ended up at Bel-Kirk when my regular shop was too busy. From the very beginning they made an already stressful experience worse. They seemed incredibly disorganized. They even mislabeled my car, complicating things with the insurance company (they called it a different model than it was). They quoted about 10 days or so for my car. Fine. However, they finished 4 days before they had quoted me. Seems nice, but not when you are traveling and had kept the rental car that you assumed you would need again when you returned, therefore paying for keeping it during time you were gone when I could have returned it earlier. They also called me at least three times while I was still out of town, telling me to pick up my car despite me telling them I was out of the state. The front desk was very rude every time I spoke with them. Of course, I could probably have forgiven all of this if the repairs had been good. I had to return two additional times to have them fix minor problems. Additionally, the hood no longer closes properly and, per another repair shop, is due to poor installation. Overall, I regret going to Bel-Kirk and hope they will improve their customer service and attention to detail due to this review. read more

Took my brand new (3 months off the lot) Midnight Edition Altima here when someone hit me and destroyed the back end. I was very concerned about how it would turn out but when I picked it up it was PERFECT. They used all new dealer parts, communicated with me throughout the whole process, and even helped me buff out an imperfection unrelated to the accident for free when I took it back and asked how much it would cost to fix it.
