I talked to a lady on the phone who said she would give me a call back, I missed the call however in the voicemail I was told there was no need to call back and they would book the appointment. When I arrived I was told the lady I spoke to said she never heard back from me even though in the voicemail she said I didn't have to. We also spoke about the cost of the detail and she told me it wouldn't be much more than the listed price although I drive a bigger SUV. Due to their "system being down" when I showed up for my appointment no one knew that I was coming. They didn't have availability and when I asked about pricing I was told it would be double the cost of what I was told over the phone. They said they could fit me in the schedule but it would take a week instead of 3 days. I dropped the car off on Monday and ended up getting a call on Wednesday saying my car was ready so I went to go pick it up. It looked good until a week later when I noticed spotting(?) I'm not sure what it's called on the drivers side door. Overall communication seemed off and now I have this stain on my car after paying twice what I was quoted. read more

They fixed everything ! This is extremely over due but I wanted to send my sincerest thank you's to the Northwest Auto Salon team for fixing a huge mistake. Approximately a year ago I went to a nearby company that claimed to fix all my scratches and swirls permanently. Little did I know this company was a complete scam and knew nothing about paint correction or polishing. Long story short, my beloved RX350 was destroyed and I truly do mean destroyed by a company with a similar name to restore effects (if you get my drift). They had almost sanded off all the clear coat and their "protective coating" lasted 6 months. This company had a "life time warranty" but after reaching out multiple times, I never heard from them again. I was surfing the forums and this shop called Northwest Auto Salon kept coming up with nothing but positive reviews. I decided to check them out and OMG. As I pulled up to the parking lot I saw exotic cars every where. My initial thought was "shoot, I should of never came here" because I thought I was going to paying through the roof and although my Lexus is of high value, its hard to compare it to a $200K Italian race car. Regardless I decided to take a chance and had the pleasure of chatting with Josh. I explained to Josh what had happened and he gave me several options and recommended what package I should go with. I will say I had an obscene amount of questions because I had been hosed so bad by the other company and wanted it done correctly this time. Josh spent almost an hour with me explaining every detail and answered all of my questions. He was even nice enough to walk me through the shop and show me examples of the work they would be doing. Because of the amount of damage the other shop had done, Josh estimated it being about a week's worth of work and he even provided me with a rental. Are you serious? Heck yeah ! I will say I had an absolute blast driving a Nissan Cube and almost ended up going out and buying one. I asked Josh to keep in contact with me through the week and send me pictures and he did that. He literally followed up every time he said he would and provided pictures. He advised me several days into the work that they would need my Lexus for a few more days because the roof had really bad fogging and I told him no problem at all. The day I went to go pick up Lexus my mouth hit the floor because it looked BRAND NEW. Even to this day I cannot believe Josh and his team did what they did. I seriously thought they sent my Lexus in to get repainted. I probably did 200 laps around my car and when he pulled it out into the sunlight it was game over. I'm not sure what kind of black magic or voodoo they did but they fixed everything. Every single dollar I spent there was worth it because they exceeded the standards of good customer service and did an amazing job. I may not have the most expensive car they've ever taken care of in terms of having a vehicle detailed here but I'm pretty sure it's definitely near one of the dirtiest. Needless to say, I have a tiny human who's three & I myself am prone to making messes. My chest catches more food than my mouth does and my dry cleaning bill would attest to that. That all brings me to the level of professionalism, courtesy & attention to detail done at NWAS, there's not a shop that could do a better job at all that and then some. I was honestly worried at the little cracks & crevices getting cleaned out because the interior of my car looked like it had been attacked by an army of crumbs & the crumbs won. Though there was NOT A LICK left behind when I picked it up. What I'm trying to say is my car went to boot camp & it dropped 10lbs in crumbs, dirt, & everything imaginable that a tiny human could leave behind. I'm telling you, my girl LOOKS GOOD. She also must've stopped by the salon on the way back to me & got a nice shampoo & shine because the stains were gone (remember that bit about me having a tiny human? well chocolate milk stains on cream cloth interior is NOT a mom's best friend). The outside is also glistening so bright I swear I could hear angels singing as I approached my car. Had to throw my shades on she was shining so bright. This was a waaaay better experience than the "detailing" I've had done at some sub par shops in the past. You truly get what you pay for. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with the work that was done by the team here at NWAS. The team that Blake has assembled here for the work that they do at the shop couldn't be more top notch if they tried. Lastly, kudos to Ben for taking his time & giving me the breakdown on Window Tinting for Dummies. He really walked through my options & gave me a detailed idea of what could be done & what he think I'd be happy with. My Long Story: The high-quality work that Ben and the guys are NorthWest Auto Salon, put into my car, was a major factor to my car being sold, two days after I posted a for sale ad, with pictures. Ben was friendly and took the time to go through their services. I decided to get their Signature Detail Package. My car needed two days to be completed, so they provided me with a courtesy vehicle. When the work was done, the results were amazing. The car had that "wet" look, super glossy, and super slick. The surface of the car felt like glass - incredible! Their work in the interior basically made it look like a factory finish. My phone pictures don't do their work justice. My car was so shiny, that my phone camera couldn't pick up all the flawlessness of the exterior. read more

Mostly very good reviews of this facility both here on Yelp and other platforms, so we decided to try to schedule a visit for car detailing. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone treated my spouse like a complete idiot. I get that the auto industry is one where talking down to women is still a problem, but it's still really disappointing when you actually see it happen. A good Audi friend of mine referred me to NWAS over a year ago. I've now been to NWAS on 3 occasions and I'll keep coming back. They have the small shop touch with the quality one would expect from a top tier detailer. I've taken in my 2013 Audi A6 in for a new car detail and when I swapped that out for a 2014 Audi S6 they did my new car detail, tint and full frontal XPel clear bra and I couldn't be happier. Then I got into an accident and had to get the whole thing redone and Blake took great care of me making sure the paint job that was done was up to spec and even found an issue and called me to tell me he won't put clear bra over it until its fixed by the body shop. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and willing to just talk to you about cars. I have no problem showing up an hour+ early because I know I can hang out in the lobby and just chat about cars with Emily and hang out with all the cool dogs they have in the shop. Completely forgot to leave a review for a visit I had a little over a year ago. I had them install spectra photo sync tint all the way around, including front. Xpel clear bra and one of the mid-level detail packages. So far, no issues with the tint or clear bra and paint is still looking good to this day. Because of the curvature of my front windshield, they had to attempt the tint install twice. The owner was completely honest with me and let me know he needed a little more time. The only issues I can remember were a small waiting area (had to wait a little longer when I arrived to pick up), having to book at least a month (almost two) in advance, and price was a little higher than competitors. However, for the quality of work they do. It was well worth the money and the minor inconveniences. After reading a couple reviews it sounds like they have loaner car service now. I may come back for ceramic Pro and utilize that service. I never asked if they priced matched, but hopefully they do. read more

I recommend just dropping off and coming back, there is a small area to sit, but you kinda feel like you are just in the way the whole time. I have to say that as a 23yo who has worked in sales and retail, great service is hard to come by. When it does happen, I am left speechless. Blake, who's in charge there, goes above and beyond to make your car feel brand new (even though I had just bought a used car), and to make you feel appreciated as a client. It's like they take care of you and your car holistically (feeling valued, quality service, beautiful end result). What I loved best about their service are the little details. For example, the upholstery in my car was steam cleaned and then vacuumed in a pattern! That's what I am talking about. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at NWAS! I've been bringing my husband's car here for the last six months or so. It's close to one of my jobs, so it's easy for me to get to, plus they do a really great job! The waiting room has free water, coffee or tea. It is clean with ample seating and free wi-fi or TV, if you're into that. I like to peek through the window at what's happening in the rest of the shop while my car gets detailed. Blake (the owner) always has such cool cars in there! (Like and old amazing VW bus and some really totally awesome French car that has a matte metallic purple wrap and a white top.) I've only received a loaner once, the first time I went in for a wax, all I had to do was make sure I topped it off before I got back. Thankfully there is a gas station on the way! I recently had a generous gift certificate to get a full exterior and interior detail from NWAS. I have a black VW Golf, but these guys treated it like a Ferrari and made it look nearly as good, too. All the guys there drive black cars and take particular pride in making a dark finish shine like a mirror -- no scratches left or buff marks to be found. These guys also went under the hood and made the engine look brand-spanking new. If you get the works, it really feels like you're driving away with a new car. I brought my Topaz Blue M3 in about 2 months ago to have them do a hand wash, and then a week later they did a 3 stage polish and wax. The car looks stunning! These guys go the extra mile, do great work, and communicate well. We take our doge to the dog park every day, and there was this lingering wet dog smell. Now every square inch is clean inside and out (even though I just paid for interior detailing), and there's a 'clean' smell that has a hint of bleach. I was able to pick up after hours no problem. Great finish for tinted windows. They came highly recommended. However they could work on their customer service. The guy was a little abrupt. Very satisfied with their work but I didn't care for the fact that they left stains along the sides of my car doors and seats. Finally, a professional, high-quality detail shop completely free of Northwest snottiness! Actually, 'detail shop' is a bit of an over-simplification: they do a lot more than just detail your vehicle. I make very little money, but I had no problem spending it here. As mentioned before, you get what you pay for, you get what you pay for, you get what you pay for! In a Wal-Mart world, where low price trumps all, I hope and pray that there are enough intelligent people in the area to make/keep this business successful. I spent approximately 12% of what I paid for my car at NWAS, and I have no regrets at all. Mind you; I received one step below their highest-level package. And window tinting. And all my wheels were repaired and refinished. And I got a photo package. And a free loaner vehicle. And respect. Another saying, 'The bitter taste of poor quality lingers far longer than the initial sweetness of a low price' comes to mind. I am not some rich person with a fancy car, so don't worry if your vehicle cost under 20 grand, there is no hint of condescension to be found. This is an excellent shop! these guys were absolutely awesome. i cant even begin to start. i brought in my bmw m4 because i was worried about rock chips from crappy seattle roads on the paint, and they went through and put Xpel clear wrap on all of the most important parts of the car. they talked through which areas were most important, and didn't push to sell me on stuff that I didn't need. they even recommended different cuts of clear wrap based on their experience with bmw m4's.. something that even the bmw dealership wouldn't have done. they also went through and found an issue with how the dealer had prepared the car, and worked with me to coordinate with the dealer on getting the issue fixed. i'll definitely be using these guys again. they also took some really cool pictures of the car that i was able to see on facebook later... which is a nice bonus. read more

I recently had my parents CRV detailed for Christmas. The ONLY downside with NW Auto Salon was that I had to book the appointment two weeks out. Otherwise, I have NO complaints. They were honest and accurate with pricing, provided a loaner car as promised, and did a wonderful job with the car. It looks new and all they used for the interior was steam and water (we requested no chemicals). Even the carpet is fluffy again, and this car is 11 years old and had never been detailed before. I've taken my black Infiniti to NWAS twice over the past year and could not be more pleased with the crew there. The first time was shortly after I purchased my car. The paint was covered with surface swirls and just had a dull appearance. When I picked up my car at the end of the day I could not have been more pleased with the end results. Swirls were completely removed and the paint had a incredibly deep black finish. Dom, who worked on my car, ended up staying late until I arrived just to walk through the work he completed and to offer advise on how to maintain my new finish. These people really need to work on their customer service. Paid $400 CASH for the Deluxe Auto Detail from this place because it was my birthday and I wanted something nice. I dropped off my car here and when I came to pick it up, the guy who detailed my car told me it didn't start. He then made up this really neat story about how it never started for them, and how he had to actually push it into the shop before he started detailing it (instead of calling me to tell me my car wasn't working). I had to have the car towed to an actual mechanic, who called me 15 minutes later and told me someone got water on the engine. When I called NW Auto Salon to tell them WHY my car didn't start and asked nicely for them to help me pay for the $100 tow, they basically said "no thanks". This shop effectively charged me $500 to disable my car (and vacuum the inside). read more

I'm really disappointed to have to write a negative review about NW Auto Salon, as the crew is nice and they do high quality work. However, unforced clerical errors with regard to appointments can't be overlooked given the prices they charge. A couple years ago, I got a detailing for my car and requested both exterior and interior detailing when I dropped off the car. When I picked up, only the exterior had been touched. It looked outstanding on the outside, and since they didn't charge me for the interior, I let the mistake slide. Recently, I scheduled another detailing and booked a loaner. Literally half the phone conversation involved rescheduling for over a month in the future in order to fit me into the loaner. Yet, when I attempted to drop off at the appointed time, they had no record of my loaner requirement and none to offer me. I had no choice but to cancel. I wanted to like this place, but if they can't get the simple things right, it's a hopeless cause. read more

They're just the best in the business. My car's been dirty for awhile, it's just never as clean when I wash it myself so I decided to just get detailed by the professionals. I was going on vacation soon and knew I was going to be busy with work again when I get back so I called to make an appointment to come in sometimes that week. Miss Courtney picked up the phone and was extremely polite, granted at first I was told that I couldn't get my car in that week because they were booked for another 2 weeks out. Absolutely not their fault, it's mine that didn't think to make an appointment ahead of time since I didn't know they were THAT busy, but if a shop that's busy, it much be a good sign right?! Then I explain to her that I really need it done that week, with no further questions asked, she was able to work something out and said that if I'm willing to drop off my car and have it remain there for an extra couple of days, that way they can still work on it little by little each day during down time, they can get it done by the time I leave. Of course I took the deal! What excellent customer service, only problem now is it would be difficult for me to find a ride back home from Lynnwood. Once again they impressed me by offering me with their courtesy vehicle, only had to use it to get back home and back to the detail shop to pick up my car since I have another car at home to get around, but still very pleased. The day I finally arrive to pick up my vehicle and saw it, I fell in love with my car all over again after 2 years of owning it. My car is no show car, but fascinating how a spotless job makes all the difference. The wheels were back to it's normal stock color, which I really forgot what it looked like although the years. HAHA. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with how friendly this business is and how they stepped an extra miles to get me in. Also, it beats me doing the cleaning myself. PS. Northwest Auto Salon is the best detail shop in the Seattle and Eastside area! This shop is diligent, thorough, honest, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They have been nothing but professional in their efforts to try to resolve a problem we had with another detail shop at a local dealership. They have bent over backwards trying to solve a smell issue (the other shop sprayed a horribly cheap smelling fragrance all over the interior of the car). NW Auto Salon did a fabulous detail on the car... Blake is meticulous and incredibly thorough. His knowledge of products and detailing is extensive. You can also rest assured that he definitely takes pride in his work and has a passion for what he does. I casually mentioned attending Concorso Italiano in Pebble Beach while we were chatting and he excitedly said that he has attended as well - clearly a car enthusiast. It's reassuring to know that these guys not only know what they're doing, but also that they truly have a love for cars. Also, Emily who has helped me with scheduling and car questions is an absolute delight. She's very personable and remembers me whenever I've called. The shop is lucky to have her. I had my black 2003 Acura RSX detailed here. It was a while ago but I believe I got the Enthusiast Detail. They did an outstanding job on the car. Being a black car, it had swirls, scratches and just a worn-out, seven-year-old...funk. The interior was dusty, and just generally also worn-looking. What I got back at the end of the day was absolutely night and day. I took a used car in and got a new car back in the afternoon. The interior looked brand new and the exterior was beyond all of my expectations. Nearly all the swirly marks were gone, the wheels, wheel wells, glass, grill...everything...was immaculate. Given the cost, I looked over the car practically with a microscope to find flaws. I found none. My only regret was that the shine on the car made the dings in the hood more noticeable. :) Since the car had to stay there all day we were able to use a loaner car - a Smart car. Funky little car although crazy transmission. When I got my car done they were in Seattle. Apparently they've moved to Lynnwood (which makes me happy as I hate going into Seattle). Haven't been there. The location in Seattle looked like a typical autobody shop and I was a bit uneasy when I got there. But the professionalism of the guys there and their knowledge of cars put me at ease. I've since sold my Acura and have bought another car. When I need to take that car in for a detailing, I'll make a bee-line for NW Auto Salon. read more
