    a glass of iced coffee

Quite hip and cool coffee spot in Boulder. First, there is free and easy parking right in front with a lot of spots; this matters! Lots of coffee and non coffee choices on their menu. Interior is very hip and millennial; definitely the vibe that most spots try to emulate. Drink options are reasonably priced and the interior is very roomy with plenty of small and large tables for various seating situations. Oatmilk latte was solid and not too sweet. They also showcase local art and look to be promoting the whole sustainability vibe.

There is NO WIFI available. A bit disappointing since I had planned to do some work here and it was advertised online as having free WiFi. Drinks and chia seed pudding was delicious. Environment is very hipster and it's a nice space. Lots of open tables likely because of the new no WiFi update.

    Lemon ricotta cake and Chai

This is a great place to meet friends while having a fantastic cup of coffee (or Chai) and a delicious treat. It's also a lovely little gift shop. The staff is always super friendly and takes care to make sure they get your order right. I've been twice this week. I ordered the spicy chai for the first time today, and it was such a warming, delicious treat on a brisk morning. I shared the lemon ricotta cake with my friend and it would have been easy to eat the whole thing myself. It was moist, flavorful and the texture was perfect. It was a great way to catch up with a friend and support a local business. I will be back soon! Thanks so much!

What a joke. A coffee shop with no WiFi? I used to come here to work all the time and they did have WiFi. Apparently now Wi-Fi is bad for society. More like they are too cheap to pay for a service that is a universal staple of coffee shops. Also the coffee is poor quality.

    Espresso milkshake

My new favorite coffee joint, we drive across town specifically for the espresso milkshake, which is unmatched! VIC'S that was here for about 20 years previously, had run it's course. Beleza brings a new fresh hip spot, bringing with it a large customer base and unique creamy smooth coffee options. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and the space it's self is clean with an earthy element.

The staff is super nice. I really wanted to love it! I thought it was pretty average & a little pricey but not a bad spot to hit in Boulder.

I'm always a bit hesitant to order black coffee (my beverage of choice) when I'm out, due to the bitterness and acidity levels, but the coffee was surprisingly smooth here. Granted, I opted for the light roast, but it's all in the way it's brewed. Considering this is Pearl Street, where things can be a bit overpriced, the prices here were quite reasonable. Plus the service here is pretty great--super friendly. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever wandering around the area.

My barista was very nice and made good recommendations based on what I was looking for. The pumpkin spice flavor was great, overall what I expected. The outside looks small, but the interior is rather spacious with a lot tables for working on a laptop. The inside has 90s/early 2000s vibe with dim, ambience lighting. This is a super solid coffee spot that should be in your Boulder coffee rotation. Bonus - they offer goat milk as a milk alternative!

We were foiled in our attempt to get coffee at The Dairy Center, but this spot was quite close. The shop is a bit crowded with lots of round tables and a small amount of counter seating facing the outside windows. There's a wall of bookshelves stocked with reading material. There's also some outside seating. The staff was friendly, but it seemed to take an extremely long time to make my girlfriend's latte. We were both tired and a bit cranky, so perhaps we were impatient. It actually took about six minutes to make that one drink, after checking my notes. Hmmm. I don't know what they do when they get busy. My girlfriend reported that her latte was fine, so I guess that's the conclusion. Pretty average.

It came with a jam, lemon curd and clotted cream for the scones. It was a lot of food so do go hungry. I made the mistaking of having a small lunch before this. This is the first shop to open outside the MOXY on the Hill on the plaza attached. It was a sunny, almost spring day and worth the walk for an afternoon treat. My standard for trying a new place to get a feel of their range, is a Cortado, decaf with oat milk. And always, some tasty looking pastry. This was a successful visit. The pastries are baked locally by Dry Storage and the orange cardamom scone was small and a great treat. Much better than humongous scones tend to be, as I think they bake more evenly. It was barely warmed so the frosting would soften and the interior soft and fresh, which enhances the flavors. The Cortado was fine too. Not quite the mellow decaf I have elsewhere every morning but nicely tempered by the oat milk. Some places use too much in their milk portion of the serving and I prefer the perfect balance of them as intended. It was nicely served on a small ceramic tray with a similar sized glass of sparkling water. Seems to be a trend these days in similar coffee shops. The decor is very modern and sleek. Lots of white and gray tile and marble surfaces with industrial duct work up high on the vaulted ceiling. There is also a good selection of teas for those that prefer. The pastry selection is still quite small and will be expanded when the need arises. The staff was helpful and getting to know their shop. I'm sure when they are more practiced and they develop a regular following, they will be able to pick up the pace behind the bar. There are some unusual seating areas which not everyone will be able to use as they require some climbing, like bleachers. I'm sure one. On fall football game days, they will fill up with agile young people and they will need far more baristas in place.
