Love the music and, coffee, free internet. Service is very efficient and moderately friendly. Outdoor seating allows dogs.

The coffee/tea/book shop is a literal local gem in Boulder! I first found out in my undergrad when a friend at the time invited me to go with them, and it's truly such a cozy, creative, wonderful place to hang out/work on hw, go to their weekly night events! I loved going in the summertime because they would have the patio fully open, with fairy lights, and stay open pretty late. They were very friendly and dog-friendly in the back patio area. I've bought a book once that was by a local artist/limited there and loved it!

Soooo cute!! Probably my favorite coffee shop on Pearl. We ordered a croissant and an iced mocha, both of which were super yummy. Walking outside to the back patio felt like walking into a little oasis! Can't wait to return.

We came here Christmas Eve and we were back the next day for more. The drinks are delicious, especially the mocha. The staff is incredibly friendly and the baristas are masters of their craft. The prices are so good! You can get a coffee for $3... in today's society? I'm floored but in a good way. We love trident. Looking for a good study spot? Boom they got it. Looking for a place to chat with friends or maybe even a lover? Bam this is the place. Looking to get a mocha and read a good book? Do I even need to say it.... They got it. This is the place. This is the place you've been looking for. Trust me.

This coffee shop is open the latest on Pearl street which is the biggest appeal. It's also very spacious and the bookstore is cool. They have a pretty nice drink menu. I had the golden milk latte. It was pretty spicy but I wasn't a huge fan of the ginger syrup flavor. There have great foam as well. Service is always nice but they make the drink on the spot after order so it can get busy with a line.

This book store & cafe is awesome! It's a small book store with a busy coffee house attached but tons and tons of seating. I wanted to talk about this super yummy focaccia that I bought there. OMG.... Totally loved it!

Really cool mom and pop bookstore located on Pearl Street in the heart of Boulder. Great that tourism and locals can keep local bookstores alive in the modern age. Interior is very chic and the attached coffee/tea/beer cafe is a good touch.

Looseleaf black tea from southern China. Picture taken next door; they have nicer floors than this.

Lovely selection of books and teas. Just really nails it. Great smell from the chai and coffee or whatever it is you're smelling, too. I picked the tea over the books and jotted down the title for later.

The bookstore half of the shop (more shelves on the right, not pictured!)

Books, coffee, wine and a patio - what's not to love? The books are well curated too - a nice mix of new and classics.

Only the very best muffin I've *ever* had, and I've had quite a few! It was the lemon rosemary. Incredible.

Very rude and off putting interaction at the register. Espresso is very acidic, pastry was decent, cozy vibe.

More fun than most coffee shops. Good wifi. Juvenile music can be avoided on the back patio (until 6:00).

I came here to catch up with a friend on a early Saturday afternoon and loved this experience! We all got some food downstairs and then we brought our lunches upstairs and then ordered some beers. Food is allowed from the 1st floor and you take the elevator up. Lots of excellent seating indoors and outside, it was the perfect day for a rooftop bar! I ordered a raspberry Kolsch made by Denver Beer Company and it was soo good! You could taste hints of raspberry, with a slight tang, but not too overpowering and not a sour beer. Id definitely come back here again! Perfect spot and you get great views of the mountain!

This is a great spot for casual group outings, especially when no one can decide on what to eat. The food hall offers a wide variety of options, Mediterranean, pizzas, Italian, Japanese, arepas and more. They also have coffee and full bars, so there's something for everyone. While there are plenty of seating indoor, the rooftop is definitely the highlight. You get a great view of the Flatirons and Pearl street below. Bonus points for being dog friendly, you can bring your fur friends to the rooftop patio!

The bartender/greeting/server guy who always works there is very nice and brings the place to life. He's friendly and quick to get your order and make small talk. This is a great option for an after hike brews or getting pizza after touring Ned. They serve single slices and it's pretty reasonable at about $5-7. Fun specialty pizzas too and very tasty. A bit expensive for the higher end ones but they are fairly large slices too. I like the Greek inspired ones most. Beers are tasty and they have a good selection, lots of fun decor, and a nice location with lots of parking. You can walk to the Merry Go Round too. I do wish it was a bit larger inside but they work with what they have. Thanks and I'll be back!

This was my first trip with kids in tow. Two dads, three boys. What could go wrong? After our server stopped by, we settled in with soft drinks and IPAs (age-depending), then ordered a couple pies. The kids went for the video games and pool table. There are plenty of TVs w sports if that's your thing. We watched Ohio State finish off Texas until our pizzas came out. Not long. Pizza at Backcountry has been consistently solid for decades. Today was no exception. It's not fancy, but is done well. The pepperoni earns a special badge for being better reheated at home than hot on the table. Remarkably so. I'll take one home next time. Frankly, the tap list is the star here from our POV, a factor that can put Backcountry over the top in choosing a spot. I had my first Blind Pig here in 2010. It's still featured on a well-curated list (along with Pliny the Elder) with various styles of legit microbrew all-stars--enough to never order mids. Maybe someday, I'll try one of the sandwiches or other items. They look good, too. That just means I'll have to go back.
