Decided to try this place as i had just moved back to the area. Bad idea. I'll start with saying my hair cut is completely underwhelming. My hair was dead and i have really long hair and knew i needed to lose an inch or two but i lost all shape and style as well. I went from having long layers and a blunt straight across cut that just looks lame to be honest. Also, my stylist said not a word to me. At all. I never sat in silence for an entire hair cut before and it was so awkward. That'd have been one thing but the whole time my stylist continuously checked her phone and texted and at one point even answered a facetime call. So unprofessional. I honestly felt like i was annoying her by being there. I went today to try them out because i wanted a salon to go to consistently because i needed a keratin treatment and wanted to do full colour that'll need lots of maintenance and i have a daughter i also would've been bringing. We have been going to Beleza for over 10 years. My daughters go more than me. It was my daughters HS graduation yesterday. I thought her appointment was 12:30 but it was 12, my mistake, she went and Jen the owner let her leave with half of her hair blew as her next client was waiting My daughter called me crying in a parking lot looking for somewhere, we found someone to do her hair who could not believe what we told them. I don't like reviews but how can someone knowing it was this girl's graduation do what she did. As if senior year hasn't been bad enough. Where is the empathy. We have waited before when they are late. I was so shocked that anyone would do this. It didn't even bother the two owners as they were the only ones there to allow her to leave. read more

I've been getting my hair done here for years. My hair is thick, wavy and all together unmanageable. I've had all my work done by Z, with the exception of blow dries and washes by some of the other staff members (who are also amazing stylists). I have never left dissatisfied. Highlights, cuts, color corrections, keratin and even makeup (including Halloween!) These girls know what's up and love their jobs. STAY AWAY. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and told them what I wanted and was told it would be $80-$115 for what I wanted and based on my hair length. I wanted balayage and showed Jen (the owner) a photo. We ended up deciding to do medium brown flowing into my natural hair color (auburn) as the second color instead of going into a lighter brown and dying it a second color. Jen did the baylayage technique and used conditioner instead of hair dye then had someone dye the rest of my hair she left out. I got half a inch cut off and had it blow dried out when it was over. I was charged $190, basically double of what I was told over the phone. It came out awful it did not look anything like the photo I showed her or balayage at all. Or like the photos i saw on her instagram page. It looked like i dyed it myself in the dark. It looked like I had BLACK ( not even close to a medium brown) grown out roots and a few black strands throughout my head. I was very upset paid and left. I came back an hour later and spoke to Jen about the price. She charged me $80 for the hair dye $60 for her doing the balayage which she said is lower because she used conditioner and not hair dye and $45 for a cut and blow dry. The blow dry was an added cost not included with dying the hair which is ridiculous, other salons include it in the price since you can't see what the color looks like when your hair is wet. I got charged as if it were two separate procedures for dying my hair, even though its just one. I had her try to fix it when I came back so it didn't look like I just had my roots dyed. The second time she was rude and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I would warn people not to go here its overpriced and a ripoff, and the quality of the finished outcome is not worth anywhere near what I was charged. read more

That Jessica must have deleted my review because it is now GONE! Went there in May 2015 for a full head of highlights. Within 3 weeks they were about an inch from my roots. Usually when I have them done elsewhere they last me about 3 months before a root touch-up. I went back to her to give her a chance to fix her work 3 weeks later and she wanted to re-charge me again, telling me "hair grows a half an inch a month" meanwhile I called 2 weeks after I went and her sister said she was on vacation and would be back in a week. So I had to go 3 weeks later instead of 2. She doesn't care if you are a satisfied customer...just wants your $$$$. My advice is to go to a reputable salon. Those other 5 Star Reviews are from her friends. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is horribly over priced for the awful work that they do. My friend had suggested this salon so I went to try it out. What a horrible haircut Jess had given me. It's uneven and so unflattering. I then told my other friend about my experience and she told me how she had gotten her hair cut there last week and how the owner asked where her hair cutting comb was and they had said they found it in the mop!! She also said how they didn't dip it into the blue barbicide. That is disgusting and and unsanitary. Save your money and please go else where. read more

I got my whole head dyed and the woman doing my hair missed spots, it's very blotchy and the top is 10 x lighter than the bottom which WAS NOT supposed to happen. very unhappy, I will not be attending this salon anymore. read more

Unfortunately deciding to enter this salon was the WORST most painful experience of my life. I entered the salon asking for a combination sombre/balayage service. I brought pictures to be clear when describing the subtle look I wanted to achieve. I was then loaded up with foils and left for about 3.5 hours to process, at times being placed under heat lamps. Not only was the result nothing close to what I asked for (i went from beautiful brunette to almost completely blonde with orangey roots) but my hair was absolutely ruined beyond repair.The bleach ate through my fine curly hair leaving me with what can only be described as cotton candy. My beautiful curls were gone and over the next 4 weeks I cried as I watched my hair break, fall off and fall out. I am a medical professional and deal with the public on a daily basis. I am required to look presentable and in order to do so I had no other choice but to have hair extensions placed (at a different salon ofcourse) to cover the damage and loss of my hair. Prior to my extensions I tried returning to Beleza and speaking with one of the owners, explaining that my hair texture had basically melted. Her response to my dismay "..anyone can come in here and say they don't like the hairstyle they got.." refusing to refund any of the $200 I spent there I was sent away with a couple of free conditioning products. I couldn't have imagined a worse experience. I have since spent over $2000 on my hair and will have to continue to spend more for the extensions until my hair grows in to an acceptable length (many broken pieces are pixie short!) My warning to you about this salon... STEER CLEAR! read more

I was going here for over a year. The last two times I went there I had my hair dyed. Some of the dye dripped on my shirt since they did not put a robe properly on me. They only used a towel under my hair. Needless to say, my shirt got stained all over the back and even in the front. When I brought this to the owners attention, her response was, oh that is just the black dye. She even said I must have towels at home stained black which was really rude. I don't have any towels stained at home because I am extremely careful, unlike this salon! I feel that as a salon, you should properly train employees to use robes when coloring hair. It is the salon's job to make sure they do not damage clothing and educate their staff to use the robes and not just a towel and let the hair dye drip! I am disappointed that no one apologized to me or even felt the least bit sorry. They didn't offer to pay for my dry cleaning or discount anything in the future. They seemed not to care about me at all as a customer. I will not be returning. Very disappointed in the customer service and knowledge of the employees there. read more
