Allie and Lauren are the absolute best! I travel from NYC to have my hair done: color, highlights and cut. Well worth the trip from anywhere in the area. This is a warm, inviting salon and these girls are professionals through and through. They listen to what you are looking for, and have great suggestions. My first visit to Salon Escape was yesterday-and it won't be my last! The salon is tastefully decorated with neutrals and pretty chandeliers. Allie listened attentively while I explained what I was looking to do-taking a short cut a bit shorter! She talked with me about both the color and highlights and I felt confident she knew what to do. I was not disappointed. Cut, color and highlights are perfect! Allie also made sure I knew how to style and blow dry it before I left! I highly recommend giving Salon Escape a try. Allie is personable and talented! Will definitely return! Nicole is the only reason I keep coming back. She is a sweetheart ! Nicole is understanding of what I want , talented and I always love the end results. The customer service here needs work. I have walked in several times while the owners are at the desk and they are to busy talking or texting to greet. I feel like an ass standing at the desk while I'm ignored. Why do I have to be the first one to say hello ? They ask me in a quick manner who I'm seeing and go back to texting. They definitely make you feel unwelcome. read more

I have been looking for my go to hair salon my entire life. I always hated getting my hair cut until I found salon escape! 2 years ago Allie lightened and cut my hair and the search was over!! Ive loved every single cut she's ever given me AND she is the best colorist out there. I still get complements on my color and cut 4 months after I get my hair done. I love that I can go in and say 'do whatever you think will look good' and I always end up leaving the salon loving everything about my hair. The staff is super friendly and the salon is always beautiful and clean. So I came here like 4 days ago for a perm, everything was going fairly well until they washed out the perm before applying the neutralizer. They did not take enough care to fully wash out the perm solution before applying the neutralizer and now my hair stinks like a skunk every time I wash it!! That is totally not normal, the perm scent should NOT linger after a perm. I have no idea how to fix this, will call back on Tuesday when they open, can't believe I spent 145 dollars (that they said would be 95 over the phone, then bumped up to 145 for a trim in person?!?!) for stinky hair!!! I'm a college student and wanted to treat myself and totally regret spending what little money I make at this place. read more

I've been going to Salon Escape for almost a decade. I always walk out happy & get repeated compliments on my hair. I go to Liz (I actually followed Liz from another salon she worked at) for both cut and color but the other stylists are as equally talented and professional. It's hard to spot from Rt 6 as it sits down a driveway but it's a convenient location and a really cute space. I highly recommend checking them out! read more

Rarely do I feel compelled to leave a review on Yelp but Salon Escape is a hidden gem, in my opinion. I called them on a Saturday morning to schedule a same day appointment. I was desperate for a hair cut and they were nice enough to fit me in at the end of the day. Everyone is extremely friendly and you can tell the stylists care about their clients. I waited less than 10 minutes and had my hair cut by Lauren, one of the co-owners of the salon. She knows her stuff. She really listened to what I wanted and walked me through what she planned on doing before cutting my hair. I lived in the city for several years and have paid significantly more for haircuts that were not nearly as good as the one I got here. And the price is beyond reasonable - $50 is a bargain for a quality haircut and a blow out. Also the ambiance is really warm and some of the hair products smell like cupcakes - so don't come in on an empty stomach if you have a sweet tooth! Lastly, I checked out their Instagram page (as I often do before choosing a new salon) and they shared a post which stated they were offering complimentary shampoos to people who had lost power due to a severe storm that recently occurred in the area - which I thought was amazing and extremely kind. I have been going to Salon Escape for over a year now and I am more impressed every time I go. I have had my hair done by Allie, Lauren and Nicole - all are fantastic! These professional women listen to everything you say and deliver!! My Sister in law was just married on November 1st and Allie and Lauren did the entire bridal party as well as the bride. Everyone's hair was absolutely magnificent and everyone received compliments throughout the day. The Salon has a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. When I leave the Salon I feel relaxed and fabulous. read more

I've always had issues with other salons and the typical, but Salon Escape has changed all of that for me. The staff is nice and accommodating and above all talented. Both myself and my MIL go to Lauren and Liz, and are always thrilled because they do exactly what we ask. Would never go anywhere else! read more

I don't understand hair dressers who do the complete opposite of what someone wants some to their hair. My hair came out nothing like what I wanted it to. The color that I got was a nice color, but not what I wanted. The stylists are good at what they do, but they should be more aware of what the customer wants. Wasn't worth sitting in a chair for almost 4 hours and paying almost 200 dollars. read more

So thankful to have had the lovely ladies of Salon Escape help myself and bridal party get ready for my wedding day. My day was perfect and they certainly contributed to it! i have been going to Nicole for about 8 months, every time I go i am more impressed of what she does with my hair, she truly is a very talented person. i have been in upper Westchester for 21 years and she is the first person who cut's and color's my hair just the way i want it to be. my only regret is that i don't have a before picture of what my hair looked like when I walked in the salon for the first time. it was horrifying what Tina from salon couture had done to me. she is the most unprofessional business owner i have ever dealt with. read more
