The folks that serve from the truck are wonderful. The owner Matt is an absolute king of cuisine and also of customer care and service. Congratulations to him and his wife on his baby who was born last night. This little one has now extended his children to four little boys. Matt showed up for just a few minutes to open the food truck today. I caught him just in time to remind him of how good his food is, and to wish him continued success with the food truck and his growing family. I love Sauced Food Truck and think everyone should go out of their way to give it a try!!!

The lumpia is addicting and builds up in flavor. I think my only problem was the rice consistency, it was a bit mushy but the adobo sauce masked it mostly. The service was immaculate, despite being at an extremely busy medieval fair, I did not have to wait that long at all after ordering. As for ambiance, it doesn't really apply since it's a truck but the venue was fun. I do think the price for your lumpia is a bit much. 8 dollars for 3 is steep. All that said I still highly recommend this truck

It had refried beans, rice, iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato, a bit of cilantro and sour cream designing on top. I think there was a sprinkle of cheese. It was filling enough, but not very exciting. I would expect whole beans in a salad, and pico de gallo or other dressing. My husband had a macho burrito with chicken. It was pretty large with lettuce, tomato chunks, raw onion, refried beans, rice, skimpy on melted chedder(?) cheese and enchilada sauce. It was just okay as well (and looked better than it tasted). We were both really hungry with minimal breakfast and this at 4:30.

The fish taco didn't look great, but tasted really good. The tamale was great. If I lived here, I'd buy a handful and keep some in the fridge for snacks. The California burrito with carnitas was really good. The fries inside were a nice touch. My only slight negative was they didn't put the salsa in the bag. It needed some extra salsa. The loaded fries with Al Pastor were also great and sinful. Loved the flavor of the pork- not as pineappley as some, but a really good rrich flavor. Well be back.

Not cheap or a huge portion but worth every penny. Probably the most delicious use of saffron in a dish I've ever experienced, and although it was a little pricy for the serving size, it was worth every penny. Not usually a huge fan of mussels, but whatever magic they worked within their huge vat of broth turned them into something I couldn't get enough of. Thank you Paella House for opening my eyes to the potential of this beautiful dish. :)

I decided to purchase one serving for $14.33. They have seating for four at the truck so I ate the food right there. I was quite disappointed for two reasons. The portion is less than what would be considered typical of appetizers. I would probably need to purchase three servings in order to get full from their food. In addition, their seafood did not taste fresh. The mussels tasted dried out and the shrimp had no flavor and was "rubbery". The only thing that they had going was the flavor of the rice, which was decent. However, with such prices for average tasting food, and way below average sizing, I would not go back again.

While on a walk with my boys in Edmonds, we happened upon this food truck. I had already planned on…read moregetting them ice cream to distract them from a disappointing afternoon. While reading the menu, I asked the young lady, "How much is this?" I hadn't even seen the pricing on the "menu." She said, "A single is $6, a double is..." and went on listing the prices for the various sizes. The menu says: Step One: Pick a flavor. Step Two: Pick a size. Step Three: Add ice cream. I said, "So it's like a cookie with the ice cream on top?" The young lady agreed. I said, "Okay, we'll get singles of whatever my boys pick for flavor." We got cookie dough in probably 2 oz bowls... with NO ice cream. I was confused, and despite my 14-year-old begging me not to, I went back and asked, "So... was this supposed to have ice cream?" She said, "No, that's extra." I looked back at the board, the three clearly stated steps, and said, "What? Are you sure? It says Step One, Step Two, Step Three." Even she looked confused. She explained, "If you look by 'Add Ice Cream,' there's an extra charge." In utter bewilderment, I discovered that, in approximately 1/2-inch font in a color swatch only slightly darker than the background, there was a tiny "+3" hiding underneath the ice cream scoop image. I can tell you, the Karen that lives inside us all wanted to make her presence known regarding the false advertising of serving cookie dough in a bowl WITHOUT ice cream on a hot summer day. But she did not. Karen was suppressed, and we quietly ate our bowls of edible cookie dough sans ice cream. 0/5 stars for expectations. 2/5 stars (and that's generous) for the dough itself. It was SUPER sweet. So sweet, in fact, that two out of my three boys didn't finish theirs, and we really needed that $2 Kirkland water bottle they were selling just to wash it down. My 14-year-old human garbage disposal gave it 5 stars, but the 11-year-old gave it 1 star, and the 9-year-old gave it 3 stars... so they average out to 2 stars overall.
