What is not to like about a stroll through the waterfront? On one side you see where the cove opens to the sea and the other includes a walking bridge over the water. There are sail boats dotted around the harbor. It is interesting how much the tide ebbs and flows. On a nice day it is relaxing, on a foggy day it is also cool to see.

Almost every summer we head up to Maine and opt to spend time in Belfast as one of our stops. Although we tend to stay in Camden, the crowds of tourists there can become too much and the relative calm of places like Belfast, soothes. The Harbor Walk is a delightful way to spend some time. Part of this walk is adjacent to a big shipyard where my husband can't get enough of checking out the boats and chatting with the folks working on them. I love walking along the water and gazing out at the lovely vistas which include some gorgeous yachts. This is a lovely, scenic walk. Try it some early morning before you hit one of Belfast's breakfast spots.

The view from the east side of the foot bridge!

The Belfast Harbor Walk and foot bridge are a gem to locals and visitors alike! The views are stunning and there is so much to see along the walk. The harbor walk goes directly through a working shipyard, the public boat launch, and many other business and public locations. One of the best parts of Belfast!

A delightful little walk for anyone looking to see beautiful small town coastal scenery. Easy walk or bike ride with little incline.

It was so intriguing finding out all the little details about the town that otherwise we would have never known. I really liked that this was not a hocus-pocus, over fabricated "Halloweenie" ghost tour. It was full of history and stories of the past that have made Camden what it is today. It made the town take on a whole new perspective for us; pretty amazing stuff when you think many of those interesting facts would have gone unseen! We loved Sally so much that when she told us about a Haunted Lighthouse tour she was doing in conjunction with the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, ME, we made arrangements to attend that as well. Once again, we were not disappointed. Any lover of lighthouses, like myself, would have gotten enjoyment from this trip. We took a boat tour aboard the Pied Piper, to 7 different lighthouses and got to hear the stories and hardships of the keepers that manned the beautiful towers. We also got to meet her husband, Greg, an investigative reporter whom has written two books in conjunction with Sally, about uncovering the history behind seemingly unexplainable mysteries and ghost stories. I highly recommend Red Cloak Haunted Tours! I can not wait until our next trip to Maine, as I absolutely plan on working in as many locations for tours with Sally that we can!!!

I went to the bath and wisscasset tours and found out so much about houses and places I may have overlooked if not for this new knowledge. Call me crazy, but I think I may have saw a ghost in the top window of a house in wisscasset, when nobody was home.
