Another one of those "should I share this?" locations we've found. This time, it's up in the Lake Geneva area. Everything about this place works together to make you want to return again and again. First of all, it's a live music spot. And that's the focus of everything. But what a spot! Great comfy seats, not a bad spot in the place! The music is never too loud, but it's not so soft you think you're watching TV at your grandpa's place. The bands are generally cover bands, but the owners go to great lengths to find only the most professional cover bands. We've seen impeccable renditions of the Eagles, Supertramp, Allman Brothers, Rolling Stones, Styx, and more! There have been no disappointments yet. Still to come this summer: Chicago and Journey. Yes, I'd rather see the originals, but let's face it - half the bands we love are so old now they'd rather be doing what we're doing: enjoying our retirement. So leave it to the next generation of talented musicians to grab these charts and start wowing us with their ability to rock! You WILL love this place. Went there last Christmas for a Buckinghams show. Wonderful venue. Sound quality was great. No bad seats.

Amazing music venue. There is not a bad seat in the house. Free bottled water and cheese and crackers before the show. Cookies at intermission then dove ice cream as you leave. They sell wine if you buy a cup for 25.00 you get to take it in the show and you get one refill. Definitely worth the visit. read more

What a fun place! The staff and the volunteers are so nice. They have cover bands playing that a great cover bands. It's nice you get treats along the way, cheese, cookies and dove bars. It's the little touches that count. Definitely a fun night out at the belfry! read more

My wife and I stayed at The Belfry House, ate dinner at the Opus At The Belfry House, and enjoyed a wonderful show at the Belfry Music Theater. We saw the Buddy's Holly Jolly Christmas show and were thoroughly impressed. Zachary Stevenson (Buddy Holly) and his band are phenomenal musicians from the Chicago area and the Lovettes are three beautiful women with wonderfully powerful voices that carried us back to the nostalgic music of our youth (the 50s and 60s). Thank you for a memorable evening. We will be back. read more

A big disappointment that ONLY BORING COVER BANDS are booked to generate over age-50-ticket-buyers (who don't appreciate magnificent musicals or dramatic performance) of the venues's heyday... I mean how many Elvis impersonators or Beatles bands are we going to listen to... How about seasonal shows like Dracula on Halloween or White Christmas? Anything but the Beach Boys or Chicago tributes again... I mean come on, $75 bucks for a Beatles tribute WE SAW FOR FREE in Delavan last summer under the stars. read more

Kenny Rogers tribute band was great- the musicians were excellent & almost forgot it wasn't Kenny Rogers at one point!

Worth the drive for a nice half day trip. Fun finding new restaurants to go to in the area I highly recommend you buy a membership as they offer some nice perks with them like free processing of orders and now and then an extra concert when have extra seats. Cute theatre, very clean, free bottled water, cookies at intermission and a Dove bar on the way out. read more

Saw Rock Baby Rock tonight. Five stars plus for the performers! Spectacular show. However, the Venue gets three stars - and that's being generous. Very slow in scanning tickets and directing to seats. We had front row seats - should not have been so confusing! No concession stand - an opportunity missed for additional revenue. Bathrooms are port-a-potties. Really? How is this even possible? Finally, the " host" was poorly dressed and had a boring presentation. Here's a tip: please Buy a pair of dress pants. At any rate, if Rock Baby Rock is the caliber of the talent they are bringing in, I will definitely be back. Now the staff and venue needs to hold themselves to a more professional standard. read more

Between this year and last year we've been to about half a dozen shows and the performances are always top quality. Rock Baby Rock was out of this world. The Bee Gees were great and last night's Michael Jackson tribute was a blast. The this charming venue is a great addition to the area. I realize that most of the folks there are volunteers so it's hard to be critical of anything else. I just hope that they are able to raise enough money next year to get a police officer to manage the intersection for pedestrians crossing the street or else get much bigger, stronger flood lights. The police should be ashamed of themselves for not helping there. read more

We saw The Highway Men last night - WOW what a show they were fantastic and sounded exactly like the original Highway Men. This place is a must visit. Great entertainment in a cozy comfortable setting. read more

Went for the first time tonight. The Eagles cover band, On The Border , was playing and they NAILED it. They were right on with their harmonies and they sounded SO good- almost like the real guys. we had a glass of wine to begin with, then went into the charming venue where all the seats were good. At intermission you'll get chocolate chip cookies and when you leave you get a Dove ice cream bar. Fun idea! We drove up from Chicago suburbs which only took a little over an hour. Easy parking right across the street. Totally worth it for such a fun place with great music. Bottom line- the Eagles were fantastic, the theater is intimate and charming, the staff was so friendly- just a great experience. We ended up getting tix to Chicago next week and Abba later in the month. read more

This is a review that I feel compelled to write and at the same time, don't want to because if you (and everybody else) start coming to the shows it will be harder for me to get tickets. But...if you like really good, live music, for a fabulous price, go to the Belfry. Their specialty is Tribute Bands and in 3 years, we've yet to see a show that we didn't love. I've spent a lot of time and $$$ seeing live concerts in the course of my life so I have seen most of the acts that these bands emulate and this is as close to the real thing (except for Rare Earth which was the real thing) that you're going to see and hear. Close your eyes and most of the time you'd think it was the original band. If you are a classic rock, country music or folk music fan, look into the Belfry. You will not be disappointed. read more

Saw Michael Jackson impersonator last Sunday night. Although we live in Williams Bay this was the first time we've ever been there. We had a wonderful time with our out-of-town guests. We never realized what a fantastic venue we have five minutes from our home. The show was amazing! We plan to get tickets to many more of the future shows. The good news is the theater is small enough that all the seats are great and based on the show we saw Sunday, the performers are excellent. The bad news is I'm sure tickets go fast so you can't wait till the last minute. read more

Amazing theatre- always great shows- Just saw Casi Joy Christmas show! What an amazing voice & fantastic performer!!

Tonight was our first visit. Saw the John Denver tribute. Tickets were 48 each. We sat in the back and loved our seats. Upon arriving lovely volunteers helped us safely cross the road. Upon entry cookies and cold water were available at no cost. Once again the volunteers who directed us to our seats were very friendly and attentive. The show was great. They played all my favorites and the musicians were very talented. The show had about two one hour segments with a break. The bathroom was large and very clean!! Loved that we were instructed on the songs we could photograph so our phones wouldn't be a total distraction. I did note that the audience was an older crowd. Not a standing dancing crowd at all. On the way out, the band was available for photos and everyone was offered a delicious Dove Bar. Overall, what a treat!! I'd definitely return and soon. read more

First visit to the Belfry to watch Infinite Journey, a Journey tribute band. Ample parking in the hospital parking lot directly across the street and several volunteers to assist with traversing the roadway to the venue. Structure appears to be a restored church and is very rustic. Seating was comfortable with padded chairs and easy access to the restrooms. Free cookies and water provided at intermission and a free Dove ice cream bar at the end of the event. Acoustics were great and the view of the stage from everyone of the 240 seats appeared to be unobstructed. The band itself was simply amazing and if I closed my eyes it truly felt that I was listening to Steve Perry and the original band. Overall a wonderful experience. Season tickets available as well as many other tribute band artists performing. I would highly recommend seeing a show at this venue, you won't be disappointed. Hint: Purchase your tickets early as they sell out quickly. read more

This is a very comfortable, quite small venue. Plenty of parking, cushy seats with lots of legroom, decent sized restrooms, and not a bad seat in the house. The act we saw - Beatles tribute band American English - was top notch. The staff are really friendly, greeting you and saying goodbye, while giving out free cookies, water and Dove ice cream bars at the end. We've become members, and are attending four more shows this season. read more
