I was totally gonna give 5 stars but my lemonade was a shot of lemonade in a glass with half a lemon in it! Stopped here with a group of nine on Father's Day. Food was all great - everyone's food came out together and hot. We had the buffalo chicken wrap, walleye sandwich, walleye, plated, French onion, burger, waterside, burger, fries, fried pickles, and cheese curds. It was very good. My husband had a rack of ribs full one and it was enormous and full of meat and delicious. I had the teriyaki salmon, it would've preferred to not have the teriyaki was a bit salty, but it was still cooked perfectly and was very good. I've eaten here several times for takeout and orders perfect, food great, prompt. Ate here for lunch. Total disaster. We were about to get on the road and wanted to eat first. We had a 3 year old with us and also ordered at appetizer. The appetizer took almost 45 min and never considered to put in the kids meal sooner. Our daughter is usually amazing at restaurants and totally lost her mind. She was hungry and crying and still food taking so long. I also would've like to have known the kids Mac and cheese is Kraft, meanwhile the Mac and cheese there is amazing on the regular menu. I get why they do it, but firmly believe places should specify when they do deviate. Back to the matter at hand. Because of this and spilled milk I left behind a cocktail and my lunch, which I'm still hungry as I write and listening to a toddler complain about wanting her Mac and cheese and French fries. It's my birthday so thanks waterfront for 100% ruining it. I felt bad she was causing a scene but all on you. If an app is running long, put in the whole order. This might need to come off the rotation and telling my parents who live down the road to reconsider their patronage. To top it off, food wasn't as good as it usually is. I recognize yesterday was Easter, but still. I always give places the benefit of the doubt and the server seemed like a nice lady, but this mess and annoyance to the other patrons is on the staff and kitchen. While I could be annoying and tell you what to do, that's on the staff to ask if kids should be served with other meals, or apps or whatever. read more

What a great stop for food if you're in the Delavan area. The dining room was a quiet and pleasant with upbeat music playing for a Saturday night. Service was attentive and friendly. We had the Special Prime Rib and 8 oz. Tenderloin that both came out a perfect medium-rare as we ordered . I went one time well over a year ago and that was the first and last time I have ever gone there. I went during the day so it was super busy. In fact, I think my table of three including me, were the only ones in there. Staff were all over the place, our server was decent. Could have been better. We order, then the food came... the food was semi cold, over cooked, too much seasoning (which I wouldn't say unless it was BAD), and it just didn't met what everyone has ever said about the place. One of the menu items we ordered was the Chicken French which is "Chicken breast dipped in Parmesan and sautéed in a creamy butter sauce. Served with garlic smashed potatoes and broccoli" sounds like it could be good. WRONG!!! The whole thing wasn't edible. It was like they decided to just throw an entire tub of garlic in the potato's, chicken, and sauce... it was so bad my friends daughter that my husband and I were watching ate two bites and then sat there not eating. The server didn't even notice and she came back once to check on us but didn't bother to ask us how the food was, or even to speak, she just looked at us and our drinks and then got another round of soda since we drank ours waiting 40+ minutes for our food. My friend's daughter at this point started to feel really sick. Within maybe 15 minutes of saying this she didn't say anything she got up and was throwing up in the bathroom for 30+ minutes. I tried her meal and my god it took everything in me not to spit the food out on their floor. It was so garlicky. Like way too much. The best part the smashed potatoes themselves barely tasted like garlic to the point they were dry, and very much tasted like I just mashed them but didn't add any butter or salt or anything to them. The potato's were the part that were supposed to be garlicky. I flagged the server down which involved me having to go look for her and all of the other staff all hiding in the kitchen area talking... I told her about the item, what was wrong with it, that my friends daughter was throwing up in their bathroom currently because of it. That I almost spit it out on the floor it was so bad. I was not telling her I wanted it off the bill but I did hope since my friends daughter only ate two pieces and was now throwing up they might have tried to rectify the situation. Well they didn't think that far. The server looked at me and said well you ordered it, it says garlic in the description. I almost lost it. Which as a former server it takes a lot for me to lose it on another server. I looked her dead in the eyes and quoted the menu items description, then asked if she could have it taken off our bill. She said "no" I promptly asked for the manager. He said the same thing "no" because she had taken two bites of it we consider her eating the meal. I laughed so hard. I went and grabbed the plate of food brought it over and asked them to try it. They didn't want to, I said to both the server and manager "okay why don't you the server go into the bathroom and listen to her throw up" they said no she is throwing up from something else. Well she couldn't have had food poisoning from anything else because the last time she ate was dinner last night at my house and that would have affected her hours ago considering it is 1pm right now. By this time my husband and I were fed up. We just paid the bill and left. We did not tip which is not us at all. We almost always tip well over 20% on every meal we have out especially if service is good. My friend's daughter was not sick with the flu or anything else because after she got done throwing it all up and her stomach settled a little she was fine! She felt fine, she looked way better (she got very pale before throwing up), she was running and jumping and laughing. Oh and she also ate food from a different restaurant and guess what she was PERFECTLY FINE!!! If I could give this place no stairs I would! read more

I am so disappointed in this restaurant. It was my favorite in the area but I will no longer support this business. Last week, they screwed up a simple buffalo chicken wrap. It came out with no buffalo sauce. I sent it back to the kitchen and it came back to me with the worst tasting "buffalo" sauce ever! All I could taste was spicy vinegar. I only had a couple bites then had to quit. It actually made me throw up on my way home. We returned 12/23 to give them another chance. I ordered a steak medium well. When I cut into it, it was still raw. This was sent back to the kitchen and I didn't even want them to fix it. I had lost my appetite after seeing the raw steak. I ended up with a salad :( The manager did make things right by apologizing and taking the steak off the bill, but we will not return. 2 weeks in a row the kitchen messed up the food. I don't know what the hell is going on in their kitchen but this is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I wanted to like this place, the service was great, it was not busy AT ALL for 6:30 on a Saturday, which says a lot, being tourist season. Waitress was good but the food.... Not so much. The fried cheese curds were over cooked and all stuck together in a clump, because the of all the cheese coming out of the breading when fried too long and was served with way a dump of grated Parmesan cheese, which is all you tasted. I ordered the prime rib medium, it was well done, NO pink at all and chewy. I did send back and they brought back a piece medium well, which was better, but still overcooked, no pink at all and cold. I asked for a baked potato instead of mashed and it was a up charge. Our bill was also about $100 and it consisted of a soda, a plain cheeseburger and fries for my daughter, a martini and the cheese curd appetizer. read more

Came here with a group of 8 to waste time before our reservation at a local supper club for my girl's birthday! We ordered some apps not knowing what to expect and were blown away -everything was piping hot and flavorful. Shrimp had a great sweet-heat and the cheese curds were sublime!!!! We were there today with a party of (12). the young man tending bar was outstanding. Friendly and efficient. We were there at 1:30 pm. Everybody ordered something different but many ordered the Tuesday special of Fajitas. Delicious We were going to have our drinks at the bar and then head to the dining room for lunch. The hostess on 10/19 Sat night was so genuine and nice! I can say she is the best hostess I have ever met in my entire life! She definitely is the right person to have greeting people and made an amazing huge impression on us. The waitress was the sweetest person I wish I knew her name it started with a K and very attentive to us both and so aplogetic that I didn't like my dinner that I ordered, this no fault to anyone at all, I didn't ask the right questions and just assumed it would be something like I had ordered elsewhere and it wasn't so I didn't like it and she took it off our bill. I didn't get another meal at that time since it was just too late in the evening for me and I didn't want to wait for anything else at that point and I was actually ok with the amazing cheese curds anyways. The cheese curds were amazing and loved the ranch dip My husband loved his burger and fries and beer. We will definitely be back when we come back in the area and I will try something else and ask questions so I make sure I like what I am ordering next time :) We noticed that all the tables where getting great service and it was nice to witness this. I really felt the need to correct this after today's lunch - mainly because of the Shrimp Tacos. These are the BEST shrimp tacos I have ever had! They serve three of these beauties with a slice of avocado in each and a side of really nicely seasoned rice and slices of lime. Just perfect! I will be ordering this entree over and over again. P.S. Normally come here in the summer and and sit up top looking over the lake for the fish fry, but since it is a Thursday....had to try something new. Here's how it went Starters (one free appetizer with check-in promo): Crab cakes- nicely crisp but wish they were thinner and more wide, helps take away the mushed texture of everything inside. All in all they were decent. Lacked the sauce they were supposed to be served with :( Humongous mushrooms- enjoyed the garlic cream cheese inside. Missing the ranch it was supposed to be served with though :( and were a bit too well done Dinner: I had the walleye meal and was dissatisfied. Walleye is my all time favorite fish so this really bummed me out. It is not a fishy fish at all when done right, and this one was fishy. The rice was extremely bland. Asparagus was large and crispy which I liked. My gf had the Build your own Mac and cheese. Delicious. They make their own cheese sauce which was creamy and tasty. My husband and I booked a reservation for 40ish people in their semi-private room several months back for our rehearsal dinner on 12/16 and when we arrived we encountered complete and total unpreparedness. We had clearly and efficiently communicated our guest count to several employees and yet, when we arrived, they had prepped our 40 person reservation for 10-14 people. It was complete chaos trying to arrange chairs and tables. It is embarrassing, to say the least, when you are trying to host your friends and family for a relaxing cocktail hour and the restaurant has no idea what's going on. Thankfully they were able to bring appetizers out accordingly & our server made up for the lack of preparation. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking to dine with a group. Even with months of advanced warning and communication, they were unprepared. read more

I went here for the first time with a deaf friend, and really liked it! Had Prime Rib, potatoes and asparagus. All good. I absolutely loved the Point Rootbeer on tap (and I am a bit of a Rootbeer snob!). The chocolate cake was a little dry and the whipped cream deflated, but otherwise the cake was good. I would go again. They seem pretty friendly to deaf customers, and were very cooperative with my friend, who has numerous food allergies, to answer her questions and make adaptations to accommodate her. read more

The food here is always great! We come whenever we are at the lake. The beers on draft are always expansive and the cocktails are tasty with unique lake themed names. This time around I got the all you can eat fish and chips with potato pancakes. They were tasty and I would definitely eat them again. I also have gotten their veggie burger and fish tacos and both are to die for! My mom got the taco salad and it was so huge it was almost the size of her face. The atmosphere here is very family friendly, but we definitely don't come here for the nice vibes. It's kind of sterile and definitely just a good dinner spot for tasty food. read more

Never got a chance to try the food. Our family of 7 went in for dinner during the week on a hot day in June. They sat us in the front room with all the windows. Sun was going down. Room was hot (about 80 deg) and sun was shining in bright from all the windows. They had no shades to pull down. I guess they don't know what shades every are. Like i was the first one to ever ask to close the shades. They said they don't have any. What a joke. Everyone was hot so we got up and left. Not going to spend $150 in a hot sunny room with everyone sweating during the meal. we won't be going back. read more
