He's over qualified, yet still went to test my earlier hypothesis. The store mgr sent him 6 "reminders" of his interview. Apparently, Nick (the store mgr) was running 3 hrs late and couldn't be there. Another "manager" tried interviewing him. She didn't know anything, but informed him the manager role he was interviewing for was already FILLED and she didn't understand why the store mgr is still interviewing and wasting people's time. Immediately called and receptionist connected me to men's Dept. I left a Msg and no one called back. July 15, 2026 called again and spoke with a manager and explained what occured.Manager and asked me if I was sure I purchased them here because we do not use this security system and proceeded to argue, I explained I am not an idiot and as just there yesterday. "well bring them in and see what we can do". July 16, 2026 travelled the 33 miles and 53 minutes to the store. Same sales Clerk who I purchased them from was working, Sales clerk remembered me and tried to tell me I did not get these here we do not use this type of system and nothing she could do. I had he receipts and tags and received no solution, nothing!! I was directed to the manager. Same story! I just want to exchange them. They would not exchange the pair of pants!!! The solution he suggested is try these two stores (Not Dillards) to have the magnetic tag removed. five min drive and first store could not help me, they do not use this security any longer. Next stop around the corner. They were sympathetic and assisted me. 33 miles back home! Never shop at a Dillards again. Store Sucks!!

One item I was looking for was a swimsuit and apparently, they do not sell them anymore. You can typically get a good value on what you do find. I usually shop more at TJ Maxx around the holidays or when I have gifts to buy. Today I found sandals and plastic cutting boards. I also didn't need to wait in a long line to check out. And when I did check out, the employee was friendly and efficient.

The employee ignored her and made a shushing motion with his fingers, and countinued to walk behind the pharmacy. She reported this to Customer Service Manager James, to which when she tried pointing the employee out from 500ft away, he cut her off citing "IT IS AGAINST STORE POLICY TO CONFRONT EMPLOYEES".... So anyway he tries to shut her up by saying "Uh we will check the cameras and get this figured out" I call Target to ask if anything happened (not asking for details) and was told he has to wait for an "AP" to check the cameras (guess security isn't on site?) I say that's fine, please call me back to confirm when the employee has been identified so atleast I know someone was talked too. He states we cannot provide personal information over the phone - and I respond by explaining | don't even want a name, or anything at all. I simply want to know that somebody was seen on the cameras, and action has been taken. I dont need any personal employee information. He cuts me off citing "we cannot debate over the phone" and hangs up on me in the middle of me asking "Should I call corporate?" In the end, my girlfriend was ignored by an employee, and it is more than obvious management does not care in the slightest. I will be filing a report with Corporate shortly.
