They took care of my furniture like it was their own - wrapping things extra well; disassembling and reassembling with care; asking for guidance whenever they needed it; and removing things from one location to another on the other end when we changed out minds *even if it meant a trip up/down stairs* with out the slightest complaint. After the fact, when I realized that I forgot to use a $50 coupon I had pre-purchased for $25, Nick the owner said "No worries, I'll mail you a check." (for $50, not $25) without even hesitating. They just moved two pianos (one from another address to my address, and another was a remove to be discarded) and a china cabinet for me. Beware of the price difference in final cost and estimated price. I was expecting it to be 10%-20% but I was surprised to find out the final bill was over 50% more than original quote. Since they charge by the hour, they could adjust the pace of the move, at certain points, the wrapping took over 20 minutes on a piece of furniture that only need a simple shrink wrap. I am very thankful for their service, the qualify of the move was superb, but the efficiency left a lot to be desired for. It took three movers over 4 hours to move out of a 1 bedroom apartment when everything is already packed in boxes. I hired movers last year moving in, and it took less than 2 hours. This was just moving out, the transportation time (45 minutes) and moving into the new place took another 4 hours for a roughly 9 hour total. Also be careful of the hidden cost of materials they use. I made the mistake of not clear it up beforehand, but they also did not mention at the estimate, so I was left in the dark about the final price until the move is completed. I used this company because of referral by my friends, but I cannot say the same about them and will not refer after this experience. read more

These guys are amazing!! We had a VERY complicated move that required a move-out on relatively short notice with no place to move into while some title defects were cured on the other end. A very indulgent seller allowed us to store in the garage and basement while the paperwork was corrected, which resulted in several starts and stops as the land court dragged a bit. So, for 26 days we lived in an AirBnB and a Residence Inn, while all our earthly belongings sat in a garage. The movers were the easiest part of the whole debacle. Nick rolled with the punches as we hoarded his moving pads and set up at least 3 different dates for the move-in phase. The crew showed up and did the in-load in record time, yet totally complied with every request to move this to here and that to there ... Always a smile, always a "no problem, let's get this right for you now while we are here." What more could someone ask for in a VERY stressful exercise? The movers were awesome in many regards: polite, considerate, and very hard-working. The scheduling and delivery left A LOT to be desired, however. On pick-up day, Bell-Air was 4 hours late and didn't finish until 11pm. This meant we then spent the next 4 hours cleaning to meet the 9am walk-through for our own buyers. The next day, drop-off day, they arrived with one truck (we had packed 2 trucks the previous day) and stated that the other was on it's way. Five hours pass and still no second truck. The foreman stated that we could either pay for an additional 3 hours for them to leave and get the second truck (then unload that truck) or wait until morning. We choose morning as that's just a ridiculous option when ALL of our stuff should've been here. Morning comes and goes and I text the foreman asking for an ETA. Nothing. Another 3 hours pass (it is now 8pm) and I receive a text that they were caught up and would be there in the morning. The next morning, again, comes and goes and no word. I text again, I get a response about the afternoon. I finally get a message from the manager that it was wishful thinking and they'd be over around 5-6. 5, 6, and 7'o'clock pass and nothing. They finally show up at 8 and I'm so relieved that we actually have the rest of our stuff that I'm beyond defeated yet somewhat content that it's here and not lost. Now for the damages. Let me state that Bell-Air did an excellent job wrapping and padding most of the items. However, our crushed 55" $2000 tv quickly told us that the driver took too hard of a left-turn or was driving carelessly. This seemed to also result in a destroyed hand-made chair (a wedding gift), disfigured children's dressers, and a caved-in outdoor loveseat (the loveseat being the only item that was immediately pointed out). I've since reached out to the manager via two methods of communication and to no avail. read more
