I am reposting a review after they attempted to make right their mistakes and asked I remove post. I heavily suggest anyone run away from this dealer. They are unethical and incompetent. Christine Carroll is a disaster and absolute trust nothing she says. They sold me a Jeep Wrangler. Delivered it damaged. Then refused to do anything initially. After I posted a review Ryan Schmidt called me and promised to help make it right. I have not even been able to get it in to Jeep Dealer as they are so backed up. This was months ago. They have then failed to get me my tags. I returned all paperwork asked for months ago however on July 14th they messaged me for more that they forgot to ask me to do. Again MONTHS later. Albert Nkansa just left a message saying he is sending me the title which should be sent to the finance company so I can now get my tags myself. I have spend hours correcting their mistakes and still have a damaged vehicle. I will be filing in court here in Ohio and will update as proceedings carry on. First, they told me the car wasn't available. It was. Second, the car had damage that wasn't disclosed in the posting. Third, they low balled my trade in like crazy. Unfaithful people..... We had a phone deal to buy an used Audi A6. I did to many miles to reach the dealer and to conclude the deal. At the last minute they changed the cards on the table. The price was intended taxes and fee included (car on road), instead I should take care of the taxes, fees and plate in my residence state (ny). It was very disappointing, very unfair...I told them. I must have to agree with the previous reviewer. Ramzi Amawi is definitely a BS'er and forget about locating a car with your specification and price. Bell Audi, which they re-located from 3 years ago or so from middle of nowhere to Edison, New Jersey isn't a place to do business. Personally, after having purchased two Audi's - Q7 4.2 from Bell Audi and an A4 from Jack Daniels in Ramsey, I must say if you are seriously considering your next purchase or a lease, go to Jack Daniels. Personally, I'm never going back to Audi after spending 3.5 years and two different models. If you don't mind the driving or getting your car on a flatbed tow truck to the dealership as often as going to the dry cleaners, get yourself an Audi. Coming back to Bell Audi. Their service is horrible and disgusting! Expect to come back for the same repeat problem at least twice to get it resolved and enjoy the old / previous model Audi's as your loaner. read more

The issue stems from the car not as described by the dealership's sales person. I flew 900 miles to buy the car which was a total disappointment to see it in person. Before agreeing on puchasing the car, I had them check the car with a paint meter and was told only the drivers side doors had paint work done (measured at 10 mm) and the rest of the car had original paint.(measured at 4 mm). The normal range is 4-5 mm give and take. I arrived at the dealership, I checked the car with my own paint meter and was really disappointed to find out the car had 2 more panels that had repair work done to them which were not disclosed to me previously. When I questioned the used car sales manager, he was speechless as to why he mis-lead me with the wrong paint meter readings. He immediately agreed on giving me a complete refund but refused to reimburse me my travel expense. When was the last time, a dealer refunded you the full amount, not unless they were guilty of misrepresenting the car. The GM of the dealership (Allison's reponse), consider yourself lucky we refunded you your money and be thankful to us and move on ....but wait....what about my $500 and 2 days of travel expense. I am now in a process of filing a complaint with NJ's attorney General's office and also with the local BBB's office This is what I call deceptive sales practice and I guess they were hoping since I am traveling from so far away,I would probably buy the car, which was not the case. Buyer be aware Would love to hear their side of the story as to why they mislead me, why they refunded me the entire sale price ($7500) and yet they refused to reimburse me my travel expense? Dear All, if you are intending to purchase a motor vehicle especially an Audi never, I say never go to Bell Audi in Route 1 NJ to place your order. They are so obnoxious and the complete sale from start to finish is the most unpleasant experience you will find. I placed and order for a new 2018 Audi and was told the car would be there in 3 months, okay I researched somewhat and agreed this was the average wait period. After 2 months of waiting I had to contact the S/A and dealership countless times to find out where in the process was my car I had paid down my $2,000.00 on. After the run around I found out my car was optioned totally different from what I had placed and the production number the same as I had. Someone changed my car order and received this purchase in less time. Short story is the car was reordered and that would take another 3 months to arrive in the states. Now after receiving the car the Finance manager was very forceful that I must purchase two or three of the options Audi was pushing for the sale to be complete. After going back and forth we finally came to a deal that benefited the dealership more than myself. I have read other dealerships across the country that sold cars without any fighting for a fair price but Bell Audi takes the cake. read more

Extremely unethical and questionable sales tactics. Long story short, I drove about 250 miles here to buy a CPO 2011 S4, which would be my fourth Audi vehicle. The salesman I had been working with over the phone was nearly an hour late, then when getting into the deal the typical salesman tactics began, discussing how the CPO price was virtually nonnegotiable, etc. I ultimately bought the car after about an hour of haggling, but when driving back south I noticed a transmission feel that wasn't present when I test drove the car and that I have never felt before on an S4. I immediately brought the car to a dealer in North Carolina, and the service technician was very skeptical of all the issues I reported to him (trans issues, A/C freezing up, differential chatter during a right-wheel lockout turn, buzzing in speakers). They said they have never seen issues like this, and they would keep in touch. Later in the evening on the first day, I got a call from the service advisor who said they found some significant concerns and would keep in touch. The next day, I get a call from the regional Audi representative who requested that I meet him at the dealership so they could discuss the way ahead. I knew there were issues, but his verbiage left me a little surprised. I showed up to the dealer, and the representative advised me that he has initiated an Audi of America buyback on the car because there is no reason it should have ever been offered for sale at an Audi dealership, much less as a CPO vehicle. The CPO inspection forms were apparently falsified and Bell Audi knowingly marketed and sold this vehicle as something it was not. I also got an email from the service technician who worked on the car, since he wanted to make sure I had enough documentation to substantiate a legal claim if necessary. I attached that text at the bottom of this email. Even after Audi of America initiated the buyback, the managers at this dealership were verbally insulting and dragged their feet with the payment, taking nearly two weeks to pay off the loan even after they had the car back in their possession. Since my bank was also involved at this point, they notified the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the Office of Consumer Affairs, who recommended I retain a litigation attorney. Long story short, I had to meet with a litigation attorney and have my bank work behind the scenes to get my money back even after Bell Audi got their car back. This was a horrible experience that is absolutely not the norm for Audi. The service technician's email is below. -------------------------------------------------- I have a 2011 S4, WAUBFXXXXXXXXXXX, 39,635 miles. The customer complained of a harsh 1 to 2 shift and a/c performance. This vehicle was recently purchased in New Jersey. I inspected the vehicle and found multiple problems that should not exist on any vehicle. First, there's a terrible grinding noise from the supercharger. It has been disassembled. Blue sealant has been used on the front case cover. Blue sealant has also been used on the water pump where there should be a rubber seal. The electrical connector has been broken off of the generator. LF lower rear arm has been damaged and has caused the bushing to leak. The tranny subframe is missing a critical bolt. The front end has been painted, incorrect fasteners used, headlights and fenders do not fit properly. The front belly pan, rear side skirts and fuel tank have yellow markings on them. The LR wheel is bent. Tranny is missing the heat shield that protects the driveshaft from the exhaust. A/C service ports are missing the protective caps. Left wiper arm bolt is missing the cap. I'm sure there are more hidden problems in this vehicle that will surface over time. I think this vehicle has an unreasonable service history and too many incorrect/botched repairs to be a certified vehicle. I'm attaching a few pictures. I would love to see this vehicle returned to the selling dealer, de-certified and then sent to auction as a parts car. The customer will have nothing but problems with this vehicle. Worst practices ever! I was looking for a new car and submitted an email for a quote, by email only. Somehow, Gil, who is a sales manager, calls me on my cell phone the next day. I was upset that someone would have the audacity to get my phone #, by whatever underhanded means, and then when I asked the second time how he got it, he told me my address and hung up on me. Is he kidding me? Is that how you treat customers? No wonder car dealers have such shady reputations. read more

This has been one of the most painful experiences I've ever had with a car dealership. My son recently just brought a used 2012 Audi A4; while he was finalizing the deal he realized the tread on 3 of the tires were quite worn out, almost bald actually. He mentioned this to his sales associate Daniella. She previously informed him that the tires have to have 50% or more of the tread life or they replace them. When he brought this to the attention of Daniella, she was quick to say they went through the shop and were already tested. He requested it to be tested again. They came back and agreed that the 3 tires needed to be replaced. They informed us that they will order them as soon as possible and get them installed. After finalizing the deal my son then realized that there wasn't a spare or doughnut in the car either. The sales associate, finance manager, and the manager who closed the deal all agreed to supply him with the spare as well as the other 3 tires for free. We were informed it would take about a week for the tires to get in and could schedule an appointment to have them replaced when they arrive. After about a week Daniella contacted my son asking for the tire info to get the correct size. This should have been done prior to us leaving the lot after purchasing the car. After waiting a week or so my son contacted Danielle multiple times to try setting up an appointment or to figure out what was going on. After finally getting in contact with Daniella she told him that she has been busy and was unable to order the tires until a day or two prior to this call. So finally after about 3 weeks the tires arrived and we were told to schedule an appointment. While setting up the appointment a lady informed us that they were rotating the tire and balancing the car which would cost $109. Obviously this wasn't what the appointment was meant for. After a debate and speaking with Daniella they figured it out. This took about a full day to solve. So finally when my son went in for the appointment they informed him that he was getting 3 new tires. He said yes but I'm also getting a spare as well. The associate said that this wasn't written on the paper work as part of the deal. He told them that Daniella, the finance manager, and the manager who closed the deal all agreed that he was going to be given the new tires and a spare. Then the associate said there was nothing he could do until he proved they agreed to this since it wasn't in writing. So of course when the associate went to look for them (Danielle and the two managers) they were all not working and wouldn't answer their phones. After discussing with him more the associate informed my son that there was nothing he could do. So my son asked for a manager. When the manager finally arrived, which took about 20 minutes he informed my son of the same thing and said "sorry my hands are tied, I don't have time for this." After a lengthy argument with the manager they finally agreed to give him the spare. The whole process of this has been horrific. The way they treated my son is disgusting. They ignored him on multiple occasions. They were unorganized. And lastly they were rude. If I was ever approached by a manager who said "sorry my hands are tied, I don't have time for this." I would be outraged especially if I just purchased an $18,000 car from them. If this is how they treat their customers they don't deserve the business. Service department is terrible - 1st time they overfilled my oil so much that the indicator light was on for 10K miles - and my 2nd time in, the loaner car they gave me was worse than an Uber - filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. Tech scratched my car and when the issue is brought up to the manager, they denied it. in addition, they blacklisted me by adding an item to state the car is scratched on the service report. Removed my floor mats for cleaning and did not bother placing them back properly by securing the locking mechanism. Avoid! I was so excited that I was about to get my first car. Among the 5 car dealers I visited, Bell Audi is the worst. I tried to lease a new car and they promised to reach out to me in one week. After one week of silence, I have to keep calling them for any news. Never reply your message. Promised to call you back the next day, never heard back. I never heard that a customer has to push the dealer to buy something. It's not how normal business works. This place may look great with all the shiny glass walls, but the service sucks. I called this dealer twice about cars they had listed on eBay. The first guy got irritated within 10 seconds because I didn't know the stock # and just put me on hold and was never taken care of. I called back a second time and this guy was a little bit better but still too impatient. I'm going tomorrow to pick up my 2013 A6 from another dealer. It's a shame the owner of the business has such tools working for him. As a business owner myself I know it is important to have your employees treat people with respect. Allen the salesman was firm on selling me this car for 8000 dollars. After hours of negotiating he came up with some deal where he would not charge me Nj taxes lowering the total cost of the car to 6000. Only to be shocked at the cost when registering the car in Nyc. On July 2015 just 5mths later, and after investing 2000 more dollars into a car i was assured was an excellent buy, but gave me problem after problem. I decide to trade the car in for a newer audi.. This shyster, and crook Allen knowing he would be forced to offer me a decent trade in value for the car refused to see me. Instead he pawned me off to some other slickhaired guy, who offered an insulting 2300 for a car that was purchased just a few mths ago. These crooks wanted me to take a 4000 dollars lost. Any car they sell with a good price has inevitable been in an accident. They get the car going just to the point so they can make a sell. They were decent until they got their money! Every time I call I end up knowing less than I did before I called! I can't believe they are still in business! If you are looking to purchase a car DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this dealership. They are very untrustworthy and will lie right to your face. If you do buy a car from them stay far away from the Protect All Plan as it is a scam. I had the so call plan but when I went in for a chip on my car, I was told I didn't have the plan so I had to fix the chip on my car on my own. When I sold my car and went to retrieve the unused portion of my extended warranty the Protect All Plan was purchased. When I asked what happened, nobody had an answer. I was dealing with Alison Wirth prior to her departing the dealership and was given Ryan as a replacement. I spoke with Ryan face to face and he said he would look into it and he has not returned any of my calls or emails. If you want someone to be deceitful and not try to work with you then Ryan is your person. Go to any Audi dealership and they will treat you better and how you deserve to be treated. Audi Management should be looking into this dealership and wonder why they have so many negative reviews and make any changes necessary. read more

Bought my Audi here two years ago. Experience with the sales was good but that was primarily because of our salesman who left for another dealership (I wonder why). Service department here sucks and I am done with this terrible dealership. Went here 4 times to fix a issue they simple did not fix even though assuring me they fixed it. They managed to damage my car instead and not fix anything. They gave me crap for having a loaner car for an extra day when they made me come 3 times for an issue they did not even fix. This service department is subpar and awful, I have had better service at Jiffy Lube for my beater cars. Tejas Trivedi (TJ) is a terrible SA that should be washing cars in the back instead of dealing with customers and customers vehicle concerns. I have Lexus, BMW, Porsche cars and the SA is the key to having a good service experience. You will not get that with TJ, TJ will just call you at 9 in the morning saying your car is ready when in fact its not ready. He will waste your time, gas, tolls, etc only to vanish once you arrive at the dealership. Then when you get in your car you will discover the issues are still there and you came here for no reason. The service manager will then blame it on a "miss communication" and attempt to solve the issues but in reality won't do anything. FYI Bell Audi you lost a sale on a 2015 Q7 (WA1DGAFE8FD001771) ($70k) you can thank Tejas Trivedi and the service manager for that. It seems Audi Dealers in the tristate area are all awful in one way or another. I have not experienced a single good Audi dealer around here. No problem with BMW, Lexus, Porsche dealers. Thought I would give Audi one last chance after my terrible experience with a CPO purchase at Town Audi last year but thanks to this equally terrible service experience at Bell Audi...... I am a loyal Audi owner for decades (wife and I combined had 7 Audi's) and have been more loyal to one dealership down on the Jersey shore. However, due to the diesel emissions issues Audi/Volkswagen faced, I had a Q7 TDI that was part of the buy back program. After negotiating with the 'Jersey shore' dealer and getting more frustrated, I called Bell Audi. They were responsive & they were hungry to make a deal with me, a new customer. In a matter of a few days, we put together a deal, sight unseen! I was very pleased with the entire process dealing with Bell. Delivery was smooth and I was in my new 2018 Q7 in a few hours. There was one issue though which is the reason for three stars. Thier attention to detail want that good. Their followup on things like registration and tags was sub-optimal. They dropped the ball on the DMV work big time. My temp tags expired. I had to call THEM to follow up and to my surprise,...nada... The DMV work, which you pay for at the time of delivery...... hum..... Great car, good dealership, sloppy attention to detail. read more

This is an initial review based on working with Allen to buy a CPO 2014 A6. I am surprised at how bad the other reviews are. My wife and I first went to the dealership on Saturday, walked up to the front desk, and were helped immediately by Allen. He took the time to show us several cars and we test drove the 2014 A6 which seems to be in great condition. He spent hours with us on Saturday and we walked out without making a deal as we couldn't get the monthly payment closer to what I needed. I don't think a dealer would let you leave if they had any more wiggle room as they want to make the deal happen too. I do think that the trade-in price they are giving us is a bit lower than we could get but it is their right to choose what cars they are willing to take not take in and at what price, it's up to you to accept or reject their bottom offer. Unfortunately, we bought the trade-in A6 last December at Audi Bridgewater (a very good dealership - see my review there) so we are under water on the loan but expected that going in. Therefore we are not offended by the overall out-the-door price of the deal. Ultimately we obtained financing elsewhere and have put a deposit on the car over the phone. We will be picking it up tonight. Even the process of arranging everything over the phone was smooth. By the way, after doing research on this particular car, it seems fairly priced and there is low inventory on this particular color and engine right now. I will keep Yelpers posted if anything changes upon pickup or if the car turns out to be a lemon. read more

If you are in the market for a new Audi, or pre-owned vehicle please STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP! I was in the market for a used Bmw 3 series and Bell Audi happened to have one on their lot. Since I am graduating high school soon, I figured i'd treat myself by buying a car through a dealership as opposed to a used car lot or craigslist. So of course after contacting the dealer showing interest in the car, I went to the dealer to go look at it. The salesperson who I dealt with sent me pictures prior to myself looking at it since they did not upload a single photo online. Going back to the story, I came there and immediately after meeting the salesperson I knew it was the typical nice guy I'm your friend type of deal. Upon inspection of the car it had the typical wear and tear in places, which wasn't a huge deal. Upon the test drive I finally went inside and started talking numbers with the salesperson. So I gave the dealer a 1k "holding fee" for the car and wanted to bring my dad back the next day for a second opinion. So long story short, I bring my dad back with me the next day to get a final opinion of the car. When my dad looked at the car he found several spots on the car that bodywork was done to despite the "clean carfax", and the salesperson started arguing that it wasn't an issue and it shouldn't change the price. so upon reviewing the paperwork from the night before, we decided that the price they gave me was absurd, and we negotiated for a good 30 minutes before settling on the final price. I paid in all cash and bought the car outright. Despite the age of the car and the mileage I bought it as is. As soon as I gave them the money, the used car manager (Albert) was quick to swoop in and take my life savings with the finance manager (Barry) stating "don't spend it all in one place" right in front of me. So Upon two days of owning the car, I went to start it, and the car was shaking horribly and the check engine light came on. Immediately, I phoned the dealership asking to speak with Albert and his response was its an as is vehicle we cannot do anything about it. Not even offering to take the car back and inspect it and diagnose the problems. He told me they could possibly offer a parts discount but that never happened. I had to pay my own mechanic 500 bucks to diagnose the issues and it came out to be 4k in repairs due to faulty catalytic converters, that blew out other major components in the engine. I went and called the dealer back and asked to speak with the general manager ( who was never at her desk whenever i called), and never returned my calls either, so I talked to another manager and explained the situation and received the as is car story and he told me he'd speak with Albert again and call me back (which didn't end up happening). So taking matters into my own hands I went ahead and repaired the vehicle myself and suffered a heavy loss on my part. Do not believe a word they say when they boast about how great their dealer is and how they sell x amount of cars each month. its all a huge ploy to let your guard down and that's when they swoop in for the kill. I owned a car for two days, put less than 100 miles on it, and when something went wrong they acted all stupid and used the as is warranty to their advantage. My advice to all who are reading this is if you do give them your business, be prepared to have a fat wallet when something goes wrong and no one to turn to for help. I WILL NEVER AGAIN STEP FOOT IN BELL AUDI FOR ANY CAR OR RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS EITHER. This is probably the worst Audi dealer in the tri state area. After some questionable practices, I purchased a Certified preowned car and within a week it needed major repair which I completed at a NY dealer. I couldn't trust that Bell would do a good job since they just certified the car and failed to notice the issue. The NY dealers were very shocked about that. Bell Audi also provided my warranty expiration dates on the buyers guide form but now they refuse to honor those dates and said it actually expires sooner. Yes, I'm contacting BBB and escalating further. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. read more
