We decided to move to Shaw Business this past summer. The transition went relatively smoothly except for our fax line. We have been trying for over 8 months to get Siplink to release our fax number to Shaw and they have repeatedly told us that they released the number, while Shaw says they haven't. It turns out our fax number is resold through a company called "Nu-Dawn" and they need to release it in order for Shaw to reactivate it. Suprise, surprise... Siplink was previously named "NuDawn," and even knowing that we know this information they still refuse to release the number.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a Telus location. The staff were unhelpful, rude, and completely uninterested in supporting customers. It felt like they were there to upsell or charge for basic assistance rather than actually help. At one point, I was even told I had to pay just to be shown simple options that are already available on the Telus website. That alone was unbelievable. Instead of guiding customers, they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by asking basic questions. I have currently been on the phone, passed around from agent to agent for 1.5 hours and still no resolution, after already speaking with them on 3 other occasions regarding this matter. They told me yesterday that they will have a technician come out today and that technician cancelled on me very last minute, prompting my call back to them today. I have received several different explanations as to why there have been so many delays. I have never experienced such a terrible client experience. I have asked to cancel my service and they told me I would need to pay over $300 in fees if I want to do that- for a service I am currently not receiving. Unfortunately there is a lack of internet providers in my province and I am stuck with one of two terrible options. Telus should really reevaluate how they choose to do business.

DO NOT USE SHAW…read more Since the Rogers buy-out, they will lie and steal from you. I moved away and asked to cancel my account. They begged and pleaded with me to just suspend the account, for no charge, and pick up where I left off when I had moved again and needed internet services. I must stress they promised me no charges. I agreed. I then noticed they had continued to charge my credit card without my knowledge, eventually maxing it out. They attempted another charge, but could not get the funds from the maxed card, and so proceeded to add a $70 bounce-back surcharge to the bill. I waited for 2.5 HOURS on their customer service line, getting bounced between Shaw and Rogers because nobody knows how the departments work or who does what, with the merger. Eventually a rude woman told me the charges are correct, there was nothing she was going to do about it, and if I wanted to cancel, it was an additional $120. On top of that, I am currently unable to pay the bill, because their sign-in page no longer works on any browser, on either my desktop or my phone. It keeps redirecting me to their support page which has no account recovery options. The account recovery link from the AI bot just sends me back to the sign-in page, where I will just loop endlessly. Good way to siphon another $70 late fee out of me, I guess. Criminal behavior. Shaw used to be really good, I used them for over 10 years. Now that Rogers has taken over, they are a must-avoid. They WILL steal from you.

He did everything in his power to try and resolve the issue, spending a huge amount of time with me all the while recognizing and speaking to other customers. Ultimately I had to deal with Apple as it was a hardware issue, but I won't forget the great service and fantastic attitude I experienced with Joshua!
