I sent the same message about my problem to multiple businesses that do the same repair work, and the answers ranged from 'looks like your screen is broken' to 'we don't stock screens for your phone.' He gave me updates as to when the part will be available, when it would be ready but also what hours his business is open. Clearly Andy gets my money. Customer service is simple.

The place…read moreisn't far from Gateway and 34, but is a little hidden in the upper level of a small shopping plaza type row of stores. You go in the front door and straight up a rather steep flight of stairs, where you'll find a couple of counters and phone accessory displays. One lone guy was working that Sunday but he was happy to help. I have an iPhone 6S which is a few years old now, but they nonetheless had different colours of replacement screen in stock, and he quoted me a great price to do the replacement. Unfortunately he'd injured his wrist recently so said he'd take a little longer than normal, but I left the phone with him for an hour and went to do some shopping over on Gateway and it was all done by the time I came back. Super helpful and friendly service, good prices, and they seem to keep a good stock selection of spare screens too. He even threw in a tempered glass protector for free. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone needing replacement phone glass, and although I hope I won't need another replacement any time soon, I'll certainly go back if I do need a new screen again. Two thumbs up!

They provide unlocked phones for pretty much every carrier. So if you want a roger phone on the bell network, they can get it done for you. The prices aren't cheap though. Unlocked phones come at a steep price but to some it is well worth it. The staff is great, really helpful and friendly. The store also carries cell phone accessories including things that can help protect your phone from damage. The store is one of a kind in Edmonton.

Keep in mind you also pay a premium for a lot of these unlocked phones, as they are not sold with any phone plan to offset the phone costs. If a new phone appears overseas, Omegacell will most likely have it within the following week. Although some of their phone prices are not cheap, they offer excellent service and the staff are extremely knowledgeable in the cell phone market. Walk inside and the majority of their popular phones are well laid out in a class counter for you to see; don't be afraid to ask to try the phones too as these are all REAL, charged phones (unlike the dummy ones you see at other stores). One of the staffers even let me use his phone as a demo to see how a 'used' version of the phone felt. If you're not in the market for one of the latest phones from overseas, you can also look into more reasonable phones with down-to-earth phone plans, as they are also a Fido phone provider. They have also provide thin film screen protectors for your phone, and will even apply it on your phone for you...and trust me, this is well worth the price as it can get extremely annoying if you're not used to applying them. If you're looking for the ultimate protection for your phone, Omegacell offers the InvisibleShield film, which they will also apply for you, but for an additional $10 (depending on the model). If you read about the newest phones that come out and want to even hold it in your hand, there is no better place to see, touch, and talk about it!

The last time I went in here, I used to sales department, not the service department. I found that…read morethe sales department was just like any other telus store: commission driven sales associates who will do whatever they need to to have a sale. I came in here with my boyfriend and he bought an iPhone. I wanted to get a new phone but telus wouldn't give on a mid contract offer. The salesperson told me to call them tomorrow and they would budge. She finished by asking if we would come after 12pm the next day because that was when she started and she would really love to help us. Yea, you would really love the commission off of us. A day later, my jealousy took over and I decided I needed an iPhone too. I went into telus and I stood in line for 30 minutes while I watched 3 salespeople help out customers. One of the salespeople ended up dashing out after helping his customer. I thought it was ridiculous that he wouldn't stay to hep out the long and impatient line that had formed. I was really unimpressed with the sales side of this Edmonton Cellular. I was actually annoyed that I ended up giving the sale to that women who had helped me before. She hadn't even really done much. My boyfriend convinced me to get the iPhone more than the salesperson did! Enjoy your undeserved commission.

I don't write reviews because I know no one gives a shit but I have to say the one installer I had here actually cared, corrected a problem with the initial installation went above and beyond to fix the problem and totally deserves some credit and a raise. I seriously felt like a customer again and it felt truly strange. No fees, no hidden costs, no up-selling, no bullshit. They came in, fixed it, and I'm now paying for what I signed up for originally. Sad when a company does what it says it's going to do becomes a 5 star review. I'll leave the installers anonymous but they did a great job. Thank you.

Each department has different people who are more knowledgeable when it comes to them, so make sure you ask the blue shirt associate if they know anything about what you're looking for before you start to waste your time to explain what it is you're looking for. The store is large and roomy and for those who don't know, the front is not the only checkout line... they have check out tills scattered at the back of the store that are faster sometimes. On huge sales days.... it is really hard to know which line you need to be in and it's best to just ask. I find that I tend to go to the store when they have their sales on as I prefer buying from a store than ordering online.... so just have to be prepared to be patient.

When we finally found sales person, we told her which TV she wanted. It was open box so they had to find all the accessories. They looked for another 19 mins and nothing. We finally approached the Best Buy sales person and said not to bother as we will look elsewhere. She was not the least apologetic and couldn't have cared less losing a sale. We bought the same TV at the Brick and the whole sale took no more than 5 mins. In the car and gone. Wake up Best Buy, you're going to lose a lot of customer with that attitude.
