We also opened a "high interest" savings account where we deposit our mortgage payments, and ICCU withdraws at the right time. As for this branch, which was near our home, we don't use it much (so much is electronic these days), but when we do go here, everyone is friendly, courteous, and extremely willing to help. We've mostly used them when we needed cash for some reason, or for Notary services. We've adopted them as our "home branch".

I have been a loyal customer of BOI for 7+ years. A month ago my purse was stolen. I promptly…read morecalled and reported my cards stolen and ordered replacements. A month later, I still have not received my cards. I called the branch to ask about them and they offered to order new ones again and they said it would be another 2-3weeks! I asked about a rush order and they wanted to charge me $90 to replace my cards. I asked about waiving the fee and they refused. This is absolutely terrible customer service. I will be taking my business somewhere else where the bank actually cares about their customers. Bank of Idaho is brand new in Boise and I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear.

Here's how this transaction went. Mom pushes intercom. Teller: "yes." (Mom looks at me like…read more.. Really? Where's the 'Hello!!?? Welcome to Bank of Idaho'??) Mom: "I need to make a withdrawal." Teller: "send in the tube." Mom: (quizzically) I'm sorry?? Teller: "send in the tube" (mom looks at me again with a face like 'Tawnie... Do you think she's being rude or is it just me???!!') Mom: uhhhh (as I am simultaneously having to explain to my mom what she needs to do, since this seems to be a Teller of very, very little words.) Mom sends up the tube and what follows is the sound of crickets chirping and then a seemingly robot person saying "Here's your cash. Thank you. Have a good day." I mean... At least I got my cash? But I much prefer Wells Fargo's friendly greetings and offers of suckers!
