Don't recommend, they have a severe roach and rat infestation going on. ROACH WAS IN MY DRINKKKK . Only come here if you want to bring roaches back home. The bartenders and managers are very rude as well. The staff is so big, that they probably shouldn't be allowed to eat on their shift. While visiting Railroad Daze and spending hours under the sun I wanted a cold beer and not a beer from the Miller beer stand in the festival, I wanted an ice cold draft of something good. The place is a complete dive but it was full at 10:30 am and reeked of cigarette smoke, I didn't think you can smoke in bars anymore. The place had a table with what looked like a customer hot buffet that people were eating at the bar, normal dive bar thing. The men's room is worse than a Russian prison, you have been warned. I have driven past this bar/liquor store for years now and it's just around the corner from the festival so I stopped by. Good sign is they have taps but I couldn't read them from where I was sitting so I ask the Hispanic guy what's on tap and he says no tap beer so I say I see the taps right there, they don't work he says. I ask what beer do you have and he says miller and bud in cans only as I see him putting old style in the cooler, I guess a miller will do. Dam I was trying to get away from domestic beer, I could have had this at the festival sh#it fu#k dam wrong choice for a beer stop. Domestic beer in cans, in plastic cups is as good as it gets here and now you know. This really is a local dive bar full of regulars enjoying the bar time but a big let s down for me do to the lack of a variety of beers and I'm not saying don't stop by just know what your getting into. read more

All I got to say is wow. Local corner bar but I was made to feel very welcome. Quickly becoming my go to. Cute attentive bartenders and some hilarious patrons. Billy is a funny drunk and loud and true Americana if I've ever seen it. Liquor store is attached to get some to go drinks. Make sure to ask for Dee or Ashlee or Cee Cee. This update is simply for the liquor store section. I understand they have an attached bar in back, but I never hang out there because I'm under 50 years old and still have all my teeth. I used to live within walking distance, so I would stop in a lot for beer. It was just a run of the mill liquor store. When I moved out of Franklin Park, I had two departing words: DO BETTER. Ensuing businesses have since opened that have brought me back to the area, and even Bell Liquor has stepped up their game and now has a formidable selection of craft beer. Yes, it was causal, not a coincidence. I'm a boss hog with more gravitas that you can understand. read more

WARNING! This review is biased because my aunt and uncle work at the store and is a bar tender at the bar section. Bell Liquors is a liquor store with a bar attached to the store. The bar is visited by a variety of characters and I usually visit when my dear aunt Ceci is working it. She is not only attentive, but she provides entertainment and has a great relationship with all her customers. There are all sorts of daily specials and on Saturday, a DJ shows up to play a variety of music. This place is in a quiet neighborhood. Good spot to just chill, any time of day. read more

This bar doesn't seem to be open on Sundays and I finally made it out to see recently. It is a dive bar attached to a liquor store right off downtown Franklin Park. Now if you have never been to downtown Frankling Park you are not missing much. This is a small squalre bar that has the smallest fuse bowling thingie with that metal puck. Just having that classic bar game and being attached to a liquor store and having a square about bar is enough for this dive to get a four star rating.
