I go to a really nice place in the Heights in Houston and so we were staying at the condos right around the corner and yes, the shopping center does have some empty spots, but I had also been here before when they were more businesses so I knew it was a quality place. They didn't try to talk me into anything, but I didn't want anyone. I wanted super short round nails and my cuticles cleaned really deep and for my nails to be buffed shiny and they did exactly that. May 3, 2021 Came in because I heard Ty was the guy to see here...well...hmm?!! I had been doing dip powder for years...switched to gel in February. My fingernails were my own and too long for work so, I wanted cut down and a dip refill. Ty got the powder but, didn't "dip" my fingers in it...he used it like an acrylic topcoat. I asked him and he said, it was quicker? I'm like ok? Soo, he gets the nails done like that and they're not solid looking...the color is streaked. (matte) No can do, son. I asked him to start over on those nails (6 of them) and dip them this time. He somewhat argued but was nice about it...said that dip would cause the same streak effect...I'm like, it shouldn't...never has before? Soo, alas the dip color prevails! Got pedi from Jackie and the daisies painted on 4 of my nails by Sara (Ty doesn't do nail art) Note to self...a lot for extra time I've had Sara before because she used to be at Aqua nail on west end Oh! And Ty said they don't do chrome just design. Limited services. Not unusual for the island nail salons. Prices have gone up $5 across the board. read more

It can be a bit scary trying to find a good place for a pedicure when you're on vacation- Don't let the faded signs outside fool you- once inside, you'll forget all about them. We were came in for pedicures, after a long day of travel, and walked a mile from our hotel to get here. We were seated in the massage chairs immediately and offered a beverage. We opted for the #4 service. The hot stone massage and heated neck pillow were simply amazing. They added to the already lovely experience. The actual massage on my tired legs and feet was one of the best I've ever had. They made sure that we were both comfortable and relaxed throughout. Tye polish selection is plentiful! We will definitely come back to this place the next time we're in Galveston! read more

I'm never disappointed with the quality and artistic ability I receive and observe at this nail salon! I show them and idea of what I want and they make it better!!! Jackie did my nails and she sill forever be doing my nails for now on! Not only did I leave looking like a dime piece they let me run out mid session to get my kids from day care! I paid first of course!! Started freaking out cuz I couldn't locate my card and the glitter power started to smear. Then they said they do Apple Pay!! And I was like yea Praise God! Let's do it! Sarah is my go-to nail tech. She's friendly, and brilliant with her craft. I usually show her an idea and she works her magic and does even better than what I showed her. I've gotten comfortable with her so I enjoy giving her free range with my nails. She's super busy so I do suggest an appointment. read more

So disappointed. Did deluxe pedicure, nails and wax. Feel my toes look worse than when I went in. Cut the side of my foot and didn't even put antiseptic on it. Cut nails so short left ingrown sides with all the rough skin still around the nails. Didn't remove the polish from previous pedicure so you can see it on the edges. I went in for a full set, I wasn't given an option to do regular polish or shellac, the lady just went and did powder and hustled me $40?? I was super confused but I'm not the type to be like no stop if she already did it. I asked to cut my cuticles, the lady didn't soak my hands in water, she did her powder and just pretend to cut a few pieces of cuticles at the end and my cuticles are still not clean. I asked her and she was like I know what I'm doing... she rushed me out of there so fast. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a nail shop. I called to see if me and my friend could come by and get a pedicure. Over the phone they said they were opened however once we got there they said that an appointment was necessary. Ok fine that's not a big deal however the guy was completely rude. He didn't ask if we wanted to schedule an appointment or come back, it was as if he was rushing us out. I cannot judge there work but the customer service is horrible. I understand because of the pandemic there are certain measures taken to keep everyone's health and safety a priority but I have the feeling they didn't want to service me cause of my race. Hands down the best nail salon in the area. The nail techs are congenial and the place is very sanitary. Two things you usually don't get from nail salons....IMO. Deluxe Pedicure was ok, like a 6/10 . Gel Manicure was insulting! I don't understand this flare shape that they love at this salon and think is "natural". My nails were in PAIN for 4 hours and still hurt a bit 12 hours later. After it became excruciating, I discovered a bunch of gel under my fingernails that I used a tweezers to scrape off, giving some relief, but there's still some I can't reach. OUCH. No clean up was done. Tell them if you want cuticle care... they used a dremel to buff my nails, scraping the cuticles and were just going to leave them raggedy until I mentioned it at the end. Gross. Then, she cut them showing me "wow there's so much cuticle!" ... umm yeah! That's why I came in for a manicure, hello?! I didn't just come to get the signature duck foot shaped fingernail. It took 3 attempts to make a very simple geometric nail art design (a triangle in a circle) so stick to your Basic flowers and swirls. My nails are wavy in some places and look hideous. read more

My girl Bic is on point with my eyebrows. She always does a fantastic job. My companion and I come in for pedicures together, she loves Bic so I let her have my appointment I had T last time and boy that man gave me the best leg and foot massage I have ever had. I could feel it for days. I left with my feet silky soft. Love this place. I am a walk in for eyebrows but it's good to make an appt for other services if you have a favorite technician. read more

Love how clean the place is and how friendly everyone is here. Extensive menu of services and complimentary wine or soda/water! They own several different shops on the island and I like them all; this one is just closest to my house. You won't be disappointed! Easily the BEST pedicure I've ever had!!!! I went to Bonjour Nails with my mom on a Wednesday afternoon for pedicures after hanging out on the island. We're new to the area and didn't really know where to go, so we turned to Yelp. This place had a really high rating and good reviews so we decided to check it out. We were definitely not disappointed. We opted for the $30 basic pedicure, however that included sugar scrub, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax. My technician also spent plenty of time "fixing" my heels and giving me a stellar foot massage. All of the ladies were really nice and the establishment itself was clean and inviting. I have been here on five different occasions now since my last review. In fact I am here now updating my post. Same treatment, it's convenient but I am finding a new shop. My nails were nice. Place is lovely and doesn't have that strong product smell. I gave it 2.5 because I always get more than the basic treatment and they never offer me water or wine like they do to other clients. May be they think bc I am of an ethnic background, I won't tip. I still tipped both times. Will try somewhere else where the treatment of clients is consistent. read more

I wish I wasn't just visiting Galveston, because this would be my nail salon! The ladies at Bonjour Nails are professional, friendly and most importantly do a fantastic job on your nails. My boyfriend & I stopped here while on vacation, and could not have had a better experience. The price was right too! Deluxe pedi was $30, and we both got manicures (shellac for me). Our total ended up being $108. Can't beat that! Our pedis came with a great massage and even though they were busy, I was very happy they took so much time on us. I would suggest calling in advance, as it seemed they got busy and had to ask people to come back. It is a smaller place so I understand. This place can not be beat! A lot of local people visit regularly for great pedicure treatments that include hot towels, hot rocks, and paraffin, and massage, very relaxing! My worst nail experience.... EVER. Not only did I receive terrible service (see pictures if you don't believe me!!), but I had a gift card here that the salon REFUSED to honor. I paid $50 to not have my cuticles trimmed, for my manicurist to not paint my nails down to the cuticle, to get slanted toenails and to get sloppy work with polish still on my skin. I can't rate the work here but the management team definitely rude. I called before I came to make sure they were open the lady told me yes. I went there and the guy opened the door , no hello or greeting. They then said we had to have an appointment to be seen. I would think the lady on the phone would have mentioned it. Not only did they say we needed appointment they were just really rude about it. They didn't attempt to make us an appointment nor did they invite us back. Maybe they have particular clients the prefer to serve that don't look like me. Regardless in this day in time I would think they would be happy for new business. Never Again!!! read more

I am picky nail salon person, having gotten regular manicures for the last 25 years. They must be clean, peaceful, not rush me, but not too too slow, leave me with the nail look I want, and be nice. This is my favorite nail salon. 'Nuff said. The shoulder massages, facial massages and massage chairs are all excellent, as well. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes they are too slow. I tried to give this place several tries but I no longer will be trying. I got a gel manicure Sunday, they peeled off by Tuesday then went back to get them redone and the lady was so angry while I remained calm and respectful (I could not understand anything she was yelling to the other ladies, it didn't sound nice). She was trying to only fix the obvious peeled nails (6 out of 10) and refused to fix the less obvious ones . She also didn't even attempt to find the right color so that would mean some would be in one color and the others in the original color. When I showed her how bad all of them were peeling she still refused to fix them . I then told her that if they could not (did not want to) fix them then I'd like my money back. She did the 1st steps to redoing all the nails and somehow changed her mind in the middle of the process so left the other 4 nails filed down and mid way prepped then continued to finishing the others . Now I had 6 properly painted nails and 4 filed down, dull, chipped and ugly. She kept shaking her hair "no" when asked if she was going to continue fixing the others. At this point I'm still calm and collected but politely said that I refuse to continue with the manicure and that I no longer cared about the money or my nails which is when she said "no no I'm gonna fix for you" . She then began to be overly nice (obviously not genuine). The new manicure has bumps and is already peeling again because again she didn't take the time or steps to do it correctly. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I don't anyone deserves that kind of service especially when responding with respect and kindness. I don't treat myself to manicures often but I now know do go to other places where I've never been treated this way. read more
