I called to book my appointment the day before and spoke with Angie. She had a beautiful disposition over the phone. She was sweet, kind, and helpful. I knew that whomever I got my massage from was going to be great and to my surprise, it was Angie. I loved her techniques, and her presence. She was relaxed, moved slowly and methodically. Her nonintrusive conversation was exactly what I was looking for. She took her time and made me feel extremely comfortable. She asked questions to make sure that the pressure was right or that my neck was comfortable, and if I needed work on any specific area. She was thoughtful and, very professional. I'd highly recommend her. The space is calming with the dim lights and soft music. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the hot stones and towels. And, because I have a sprain on my left ankle she offered to put a cold compress on it throughout the duration of my massage which soothed it tremendously. My body feels relaxed, looser, lighter, and cared for. I'll definitely visit again soon.

Hubby said his neck was feeling 100% better. Loved that they had larger beds than typical and the relaxing music was not loud. If we visit the area again we would not hesitate to book again.

They weren't rude, they were just simply unfriendly and unwelcoming. The hotel is enormous and spacious, offering a plethora of amenities, including free parking which is a wonderful perk. The best part is that it's conveniently located within walking distance of the pyramids. There's also a shuttle service available to take you there, but we opted to walk instead because again, the staff isn't the friendliest. The valet/shuttle guy had a very unapproachable vibe. Despite the unfriendly staff, I believe the hotel is an excellent choice for those visiting the pyramids, especially if traveling with kids. It's such a convenient location. Additionally, you get a significant discount on tickets purchased at the hotel. An all-inclusive all-day pass costs $45, and it's well worth it. Note: There are two self-ordering kiosks in the lobby area where you can purchase tickets. However, you'll need to ask the staff for the password to unlock the screen.

I then used the hall phone by elevators to call and request maintenance. After 20 minutes and my calling back maintenance arrived. Very sweet kid, but obviously had not been informed why he was dispatched as he had zero tools with him. He then left and went to find tools to open door and batteries to fix lock. He fixed it quickly once he returned and was very polite. I requested additional bedding as room is freezing and was informed housekeeping had left for the day and I was out of luck. So guess we are freezing. Hotel room is run down and looks strikingly like a hospital room. Based on high dollar price I paid, which was over a holiday weekend, so inflated prices it was a massive let down. I would not recommend based on price point and lobby service. Maintenance gentleman was excellent however.

I booked a treatment for my birthday yesterday and maybe my mistake was booking later in the day, it seemed like nothing had been refreshed. No sugar for the tea, i had to get up to find water since there were empty serving pitchers. A gentleman came in right after me and was served champagne while I had to get up AGAIN and asked to be served champagne. The woman who did my treatment was really sweet so that made up for it some but I wouldn't say the front desk was the friendliest. Would not book again and regret spending my birthday treat at this spa.

My wife and I booked services here for our post-wedding honeymoon trip. It was a complete disaster…read moreand an absolute ripoff. We paid over $480 in cash, which included a mandatory $80 tip. This "tip" was for what, exactly? The service was nonexistent. Not one single time in the 2 hours we were using the facilities (BEFORE our massage) did a single staff member check in on us except the initial walkthrough. We had to serve ourselves completely: The cold towels were not stocked. The razors were empty. My wife sat in the relaxation lounge for 40 minutes, but no one ever came to provide her neck warmer. She had to get up and dig through cabinets to find it herself. (As did I) I had to walk the halls in my robe just to find an employee to restock the cold towels and razors, and again just to get our water and champagne refilled. After our massage, the amenities were empty all over again. The facilities are broken. The steam room was dark with lights out, and one of the showers did not work. The staff was rude and incompetent. When we first tried to walk in, we were told it was "too much of a hassle." We called twice to schedule and clarify our order, and they still got it wrong when we arrived the next day. When we finally left, not one person at the front desk acknowledged us, said thank you, or asked how our service was. Our masseuse, Miss Holly, was the only professional person in the entire spa. She deserves to work at a better establishment. This spa is part of the larger Hotel Galvez, and our entire stay was a catastrophe that brought my new wife to tears. The management is rude, the rooms are broken, and the billing is deceptive. We are deeply saddened that a place that was once special to us (I proposed here: https://youtu.be/Ldo23DDiyn4) has completely collapsed. Do not waste your money here. We expect corporate management to take extraordinary steps to make this right.

I was able to relax while she relieved me of excruciating pain. When I first booked my appointment, I could barely walk due to extreme pain, stiffness, and locking joints. I had pulled something when I attempted to lift a heavy object from the floor. Add months of tension, stress and long hours of sitting on uncomfortable furniture and multiple prior injuries, I ended up being in excruciating pain from top to toe. Tonie first did a thorough analysis of my health issues and expectations. Then, she followed up with questions to fully understand the condition I was in. When she started, it was as if I had gone to her for years. She knew my problem areas and addressed them perfectly. She competently stroke away muscle tension and helped me to fully relax. She massaged away several knots. But at the same touch, she was able to switch to a very gentle touch when she massaged areas of inflammation. I have never before enjoyed such an effective massage while being able to relax. I certainly will be back. I wish I could go every two days. Next time, I will bring my mom because she will benefit from Tonie's competent and experienced massage therapy too. I highly recommend Tonie. You will be in very skilled hands!
