    Yesterday we had my daughter's 16th birthday at Bella and we were so please with everything. The food is amazing. The owners are great and very helpful. The waiters are the best. They constantly made sure that we had the best service and very friendly. We will definitely use them again for our next gathering.

    Really nice and unexpectedly cozy place for a small family gatherings, bday celebration, bridal showers, engagement, etc. Great food, nicely decorated and gives you a choice to decorate any way you like and want. Tonight is 1920s Gatsby theme for our friend bday - yay celebrating

    Yesterday we did my mother in laws surprise 60th birthday here. If I can give 10 stars I would. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, attentive , caring and so easy to work with. Karen the owner and Vahag are so accommodating and so great to work with. They listened and truly cared like it was there own event. All the guests are talking about the food. The food was top notch, so tasty and such a unique menu. From now on I will recommend this hall to everyone and use them for my events. Our wedding Royal Dj Entertainment Edo recommended them and I'm glad I listened. OH and if you need a great DJ his your guy.

    We were looking for a unique venue for our November wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors…read moreand a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

I'm writing with gratitude, joy and praise for the experience I had today. I co-hosted a baby shower for my dearest friend and business partner. She's the most important person in the world to me. We chose to have it at Bexx and it turned out perfectly. The whole team was delightful. Great communication, personal service, unbelievable attention to detail, delicious food and top notch beverages. The decor and food choices were ample but not overwhelming. The food was made there, completely fresh, healthy and beautifully presented. I wanted this day to be amazing and memorable. Bexx and team exceeded expectations. Several guests said it was by far and away the best baby shower they'd ever been to. I agree. This venue is a unique, charming home in North Hollywood. The open air courtyard is covered for a nice, breezy indoor/outdoor feel. Everything went off without a hitch. Everyone felt comfortable and welcomed. They set up our chairs and cocktail tables for us. When we arrived we didn't have much to do but set up the additional small things we had. The outdoor space was lovely and really tied the look for us. I can't wait to have another event here! One thing I will say is, this location is hidden please make sure you use signs to ensure your guests don't get lost. They have a sign as well just buy balloons to make it pop more!

I found that this space and surrounding area were fine for my event purposes - a milestone Birthday Party. I'm not so sure if the surrounding area would work as well for a formal Wedding event if that's a consideration. The actual space itself is very pleasing though. I had looked at several other event spaces - ranging from Golf Club Bar spaces (manager did not reply till I did a Yelp review - see my review for this place), rooftop Event spaces (more expensive per hour) through to more formal, claustrophobic Wedding spaces. After a walk thru appointment of KUE, I found that the hourly rate was decent ($250 p/hour), as well as the inclusions- several tables/chairs, a partially nicely decorated interior, a couple of outdoor areas and no noise restrictions! Street parking and limited parking in the driveway area (after business hours) to KUE was ok. The main contact at KUE was Brenda whom was polite, pretty responsive and professional throughout my dealings - including contract signing, questions regarding the space and recommendations/helping organize vendors. My Bartender and another vendor providing additional cocktail tables/stage/linen (interestingly paid via the KUE zelle link, but whatever) were recommended from Brenda. The contract included 1hr for setup. I utilized this at the beginning before my 5 hours of use (6pm-11pm). There was a $200 cleaning fee on top of the 5 hour rate. I was also required to put all tables and chairs inside the event interior space upon exit. My event went well. I am a Musician, so I performed with fellow Musicians to guests of maybe 75-80 ppl, a Bartender and Taco guy. The space never felt cramped at all and could support more ppl. For KUE, I would recommend that some more outdoor power outlets around the space would be very useful. To counteract the gloomy industrial area I would even suggest a stylish oversized KUE sign at the front entry. For prospective Clients, I would suggest that anyone looking to book the venue be aware of the strict time requirements. Part of my deposit was taken (OK'd by me after a discussion with Brenda) because we were a little overtime getting all of our decorations/decor/equipment off the space (15-20 minutes after 11pm). I was proud of my friends and family for helping (and helping the caretaker) , exceeding the requirements of packing and cleaning up tables/chairs/space. We were out before the caretaker. I think that a 0-20/30 minute grace period (if effort was made by the client and not affecting cleaning) would be in the best interests for the management to adopt - in the same way that Hotels, rental car companies etc do already. Again, overall a very good experience.

The couple btw are still married! Their service is up to par and all the servers at every table is professional, courteous, helpful, and make your event delightful and very memorable. That comes from the owner who is a great businessmen! Greg, the owner has everyone in check. He is pleasant, kind, helpful and treats each individual with dignity and respect. That is why he has a good reputation among so many people. Customers, guests and his employees! This is not a restaurant type of a place to place your order and they bring your food to you. Everything is already set up on the tables before all the guests arrive. They have a decadent, delicious dishes that come with many different kinds of appetizers, salads, cold cuts and of course so many variety of HOT FOOD!! Cakes, pastries.. Simply divine, fresh and did I mention DELICIOUS!?! You can customize your food/order according to what you need & want. He will accommodate to your needs. I don't know his price packages, because I personally haven't held any event there. You can go in person, call or contact him via email and thru Social Media. I attended a 60th birthday party for my Uncle in Los Angeles at Mirage Venue and OMG this please is just gorgeous and absolutely beautiful. It's a pretty big hall and also very grand so it was perfect for a grand 60th birthday party. There was lots of parking so no worries and basically the outcome of your event was really up to the host. As for this party it was everything and I will always remember this post and totally recommend it. I hope I can find pictures for you all to see how much fun I had. Until next time ciao!

The rooms and amenities are all updated however, and if you want to be close to Universal Studios or Studio City in general, this hotel is excellent. They even have a free trolley that runs hourly to/from Universal Studios and a LA bus terminal. Our 3-night stay during Memorial Day was great - comfortable rooms, beds, and friendly service. Rooms had plenty of storage space and charing ports, and wifi is free and fast. They also have an agenda of daily activities like group exercise classes, LA hot dog/taco nights, and classic movies next to the pool. Their main restaurant, Front Yard offers a daily breakfast buffet and ala carte brunch, lunch, and dinner. The only reason for the -1 stars is that their AC is an older, in-wall unit that gets loud when turned on. Outdoor Parking also isn't cheap at $50/night with in/out privileges but that may be typical for the area.

The location is excellent--easily accessible from the freeway and conveniently close to Universal attractions, making it a great home base for exploring the area. The valet team was efficient, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the individual we assumed to be the valet manager was a stark contrast. He appeared visibly frustrated and annoyed at all times, was rude to guests, and was openly disrespectful toward his staff, which was uncomfortable to witness. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the lobby is beautiful with stylish décor that creates a great first impression. Our biggest disappointment was the condition of our floor in the Portola building. Upon entering the elevator, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke but assumed it was temporary. Once we reached the fourth floor, however, the odor was overwhelming. It smelled like old, stale cigarette smoke reminiscent of vintage Las Vegas casinos. Since the property emphasizes that it is non-smoking, we immediately notified the front desk. To their credit, they responded quickly, submitted a maintenance request, and placed another room on hold for us if the issue couldn't be resolved. Unfortunately, while we were out to lunch, we received a voicemail stating that the alternate room was no longer available. When we returned, the hallway still smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, only now mixed with deodorizer. During our stay, several other guests mentioned having the same complaint, and some reported that the issue had persisted for days. The odor was strong enough to be nauseating at times, and we were unable to leave our balcony door open because it pulled the smell from the hallway into our room. Dining was another mixed experience. We found it surprising that no food service is available anywhere on the property between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., especially considering check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. and many guests arrive after traveling. We did enjoy a fantastic lunch at The Front Yard with excellent service at the bar. Based on numerous recommendations, we also made reservations for brunch on our departure day. Unfortunately, brunch was underwhelming. We ordered three different dishes, all of which were bland and seemed noticeably under-seasoned. On the positive side, the taco cart near the pool and patio area was outstanding. The tacos and elote were some of the best food we had on the property and are absolutely worth trying. Overall, this hotel has many strengths, including its location, beautiful grounds, and several standout staff members. However, the persistent smoking odor and a few operational shortcomings significantly impacted our experience. With better attention to those issues, this could easily be a much stronger property.
