I come here very regularly since I work nearby. I definitely recommend TINA! I have seen her consistently over the past 6 months whether it's for gel polish or for acrylic nails. She is so efficient and I always leave very happy! My nails are a constant hassle considering they are always in water and tend to be soft and brittle. However, Tina always makes sure my nails are great and does more to make sure that gel polish stays on! read more

I am very disappointed in the treatment I received today. I payed my nail stylist a $12 tip before she painted my nails, and then received an awful job. I got french nails, and almost every nail has an issue. There are bubbles, rigid edges, and pieces sticking up in the white. In my past experience coming here, the jobs were never very professional. There are always issues with the nails, and they are very rough with you're hands/feet. I definitely do not recommend coming here, and I will never be returning. read more

I came in for acrylic nails with a gel polish. I had shown the lady who did my nails, a picture of the shape/length I wanted my nails to be. She didn't push my cuticles back, so the acrylics are now 1/3 up my nail instead of all the way back on the base. She didn't shape them at all to what I wanted them to be; I asked for oval and she gave me square nails that just had rounded edges. Some nails are oddly shaped while a few others look semi-nice. I'm very disappointed with the end result of my nails and was expecting a much better job considering their pricing. Would not recommend this place! read more

I came in with high expectations but it's been 45 minutes in the pedicure chair now and I had one lady abandon me to work on someone else that had an appointment and after complaining to the front desk after waiting 15 minutes on my own someone finally showed up to continue my pedicure. I've never been treated so poorly in a salon in the United States. The guy that called himself the manager when I asked to speak to one said he'd give me 10% off my service. Wow, a whopping $3 or something? For the aggravating experience that's supposed to be relaxing they should be doing it for free. So just be warned, don't come when there is a lot of people, they can't handle the volume of clients. read more

I have been to this place twice for a gel pedicure. This place is awesome. The ladies there have a real attention for detail and my toes look great every time. I have terrible runners feet and even with a toenail with trauma the ladies that I have had have been extremely gentle. This was my first time going to Bella Beach. I got my eyebrows microbladed and I love them. It was quick and nearly painless. They look natural and my daughter didn't even notice, probably because I usually color them in anyway. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I got complements on the way out from other customers getting their nails done. I feel like that's a win right there. I've already recommended some friends to go get theirs done. Oh, and they have kids pedicure chairs so I'll probably take my 7 year old there to try that service out. read more

Horrible. Is it clean? Yes. It is also about 2 minutes old so it should be clean. But this was--quite frankly the absolute worst mail service that I've ever received. My toes look like my three year old painted them and I left before my gel manicure was finished. When I repeatedly pointed out a significant missed spot on one nail, the technician's responses, in this order, were: 1. Asked me if I picked the right color; 2. Continued to pile nail polish on the tip of my nail creating a huge ridge; and 3. Asking me again if I picked the right color. Never, ever again. read more

I've been going to Bella Beach for close to a year now and the this is a great nail salon. After trying others in the area, I was happy to find them. I typically do the no-chip manicure and a regular pedicure, I've had waxing services performed and it was okay....I'll stick to the nails. They are a bit pricey, it would be nice is they had packages available or a customer loyalty program. $70 for no-chip mani and basic pedicure is a lot, but the service I receive is great and consistent. read more

I walked in last week and made an appt. I called again this morning to confirm and yet when I got there they could not find me. After they finally found my name they assigned me to this technician and I chose my color, she could not find it. I tried another one and she couldn't find that one either. After 15 min and hearing them talking in what seems to be about me we finally found a color she started working on me and after a few min switched with someone else and when I asked why they said she had an appt! I still was ok but then after I was done here's how my nails look. They look as if it had been a week since I had a manicure as she could not get to the base of some of the nails. I have been going here for years - but as of yesterday - no more. I walked in with a pair of shorts and flip flops in hand to change and headed to their in-house ATM to make sure it was working (for tip). I have been there multiple times and it was broken and I had to make return trips with cash. Before I had even made it three steps toward the machine a new male employe started in "Excuse me....Excuse me MAM - that is only for customers, you can not use it" . I said I was a customer...."you getting nails done? " I thought I was - "You can not use it - only for customers" (in a very agitated voice). The two reasons why I'm not giving 5 stars is because first, the woman who did my nails kept getting up to do other things while she was doing my manicure which was frustrating. Used to be great but I don't know if some of the staff is worn out but I had called ahead and they said to come right in. When I got there it seemed that nobody wanted to do a pedicure...I guess they preferred sitting on the couch even though I called to make an appointment. Then to separate my toes she used a torn up cotton ball and part of it got stuck in the polish. She cut up my big toe which caused it to bleed. Then when it was time to dry she put me under a non working dryer. I'm not sure if they are cutting costs now but come on. My experience was unpleasant, and more in-line with these current reviews here on Yelp itself. I made a appointment for 1 pm, with a technician that many reviewers in the past had rated well. However, she was stressed out from the moment she approached me and learned she was my technician. She never even introduced herself. She was rushed and rough with me, and spent a portion of my pedicure yelling across at all the other technicians, not paying attention to my feet, with sharp tools in her hand. I am with other reviewers, I can give myself a substandard, rushed and less than relaxing pedicure at home, for free no less. Once and done for this place. read more

Yes the decor and location is very nice but it was probably the worst manicure I have ever had. The guy who did my nails was rushed and was obviously new to the job or just very careless. I got cut in multiple places and and he missed a couple corners to which his solution was to just file them off down to the nail bed. When I voiced concern I was talked at and about, not with. So all these amazing reviews and I figured I'll check it out! well its pretty and new and service is very cordial, it would have been all good till I realized their way of cleaning the apparatus! So for pedicure, the sweet lady pulls out this cheese grater looking thing (I honestly don't think thats even legal), then she goes to town with that thing on my foot, which is all fine and dandy till she dipped it back in the dirty water my feet were soaked in, dries it and put it back in the drawer!!!!! It was downhill from there, everything she took out of her drawer was dipped in the same dirty water and after use put back in the drawer. When I tried to bring her attention to it, she just couldn't understand what I was talking about. I came home and gave my feet and hand a long alcohol/antiseptic soak because if I don't get an infection, it'll almost be a miracle! Great service, beautiful place but I'm NEVER EVER going back! They really need to reevaluate their cleaning (or lack their of) methods! read more

I've been going to this salon on and off for the past year. After my last visit I do not plan on going back again. I got my acrylic nails filled with gel polish. The fill itself is fine, but 3 or 4 days after getting them done the gel polish began to chip, and have been continuing to get worse since. I've been a local for 17 years and have been "salon hopping" in the Ashburn/Lansdowne/Leesburg area for too long, looking for what I finally found in Nancy at Bella Beach! The salon is relaxing, impeccably clean, luxurious, and spacious! The employees are polite and accommodating, and I am always satisfied with my service. I have tips with a liquid gel overlay and shellac color on top, and Nancy does an amazing job making my nails look short, natural, and thin, despite the several coats of liquid gel and polish. My manicures are durable, and on the off chance a nail does chip or break, Bella Beach is always willing to accommodate me as a walk-in to repair my nails, free of charge! My mother loves Ann, another technician at Bella Beach, who is also super skilled and sweet! On top of it all, my free glass of wine during my pedicure is the icing on this perfectly-manicured cake! :) read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon for a pedicure. Water was hot and had to tell person 3 times to adjust temperature, she did listen to anything I said about shaping my nails. So, this was my second time going back to this facility. I figured I would give it one more try after reading the awesome reviews. BIG MISTAKE!! I go in for a mani/pedi, no big deal. While doing the pedicure, she is cleaning the cuticles, etc, I feel a pinch on my skin. I look down as she's ripping something away from my toe and I start to bleed......she apologized saying there was a piece of skin attached to the nail. In all my years of getting pedicures, this was a first. She tended to it very quickly and was super apologetic. I'm not to the worst part. After the pedicure, we were at the nail station for the manicure. She asked me if I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up. Normally, I have them done some place else, but knew my other place was closed. I am leaving for vacation and my husband's high school reunion. Reluctantly, I agreed to have my eyebrows cleaned up. Here's where it gets interesting. The girl is doing the waxing and I feel a pull and thought "I wonder if she took my whole eyebrow just now?" She hands me the mirror when finished and it happened! I have hair missing in the middle of my eyebrow. I looked at her in amazement as she is trying to convince me it was like that before and don't worry, the hair there is just light. I have never had light hair on my eyebrows, NEVER! My worst fear came true one day before leaving for vacation and attending my husband's high school reunion. The ONLY saving grace is that I have bangs and happily the bald spot is covered by them!! NEVER AGAIN will I go here. read more
