Cheesecake Slice, Bella Cora cake (chocolate), macaroon and guava shortbread bar

Went to buy French baguettes and also ended up buying some of their desserts. Did they change their baguettes recipe?? It was okay (just okay but not really like their previous baguette) but not the same size, shape or taste of their usual baguettes or how they use to make them. The cheesecake was dry and not creamy like other times (seemed like it was a couple of days old). Everything else however was delicious and the Bella Cora cake was especially a hit. Only 3 stars because of the cheesecake and baguette. Please bring back the previous way you were making your baguettes as this current one is not as good.

I was originally wanted to find a bakery for Pan Dulce, but this popped up and looked interesting. We had gone to France in early summer and this bakery reminded me of the bakeries in France. The barely goods were outstanding! I will be a regular customer from now on

2020DEC. Visited Bella Cora Bakery for the first time after their East Location on Joe Battle Sponsored the Yelpies event. My friend had additionally bought more baked goods that day which he shared during the event and I loved them all. I visited with the intent of buying something special for 1 January but I arrived 10 minutes before they closed so there were not many choices. However, I did experience great costumer service and everything else I got was delicious. A couple creme brûlée, lemon bars, chocolate tart, and bread. For the everyday baked goods, special occasions and just because stopping by Bella Cora Bakery is a must. Looking forward to try many more of their baked goods.

    Tiramisu was horrible!

Terrible Tiramisu and cannolis. Flavorless, soggy, yuk cannoli was even worse cream was tasteless

The lemon bars are the best I've had! The other bar was really good as well.

Was looking forward to our trip to the bakery after reading great reviews and although, we went on Dec. 24th and the place was almost empty it did not disappoint! Everything we got was delicious!!!! I'm not a macaroon fan and really enjoyed the ones they had... the rose flavored and coffee one were excellent. Also, their lemon bars are super indulgent and the breads... oh my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I will definitely stop by next time I'm in el El Paso!

One of my favorite places in all of El Paso! Their macaroons are SO good. Literally anything you buy here will be so good. From their cream puffs to their Karen brownies, it's all amazing! ...and now I'm craving a Karen brownie

Despite being in El Paso numerous times, I never got the chance to visit Bella Cora, until recently. Locals rave about this location as being the best French Bakery in El Paso, and I may have to agree! I immediately walked in and was drawn to their pastry case. The young man working the counter was also extremely helpful and kind in taking my order. Bella Cora gets an A in presentation and taste. I ordered macarons and a tiramisu for my partner and I, and we finished all of them in one sitting. These macarons were so delicious and actually a larger size than most of the ones I've ordered from other places. The tiramisu was so light, with the perfect amount of coffee and sweetness. If you are ever in the mood for French patisserie, I would highly recommend Bella Cora. Next time I am back, I would love to try other flavors.

Croissants are amazing!! I've had their regular and chocolate croissants and both were delicious. They can be out if you come in the afternoon so give them a call and they'll set aside your order. Also recommend the cream puffs.

Salted caramel pie. The best in El Paso.

I heard a lot of good things about Bella Cora's pies from lots of people. I knew I had to try one someday. Well that day was finally today, Thanksgiving morning 2020. WOW! I am completely blown away by their salted caramel pie. It's outstanding, amazing and all of that with a bag of chips. It's a little bit sweet but once you keep eating it, it's magical and keeps on getting better in taste. I love the caramel on top that's mixed in with the pecan filling and crust. The crust is another story but it's wonderful. It's flaky and just meshes well with the caramel and pecan mixture. In the past, I've tried their other sweets like macarons and small cakes. They're really good too but the pie is out of this world for me. I also got some buttered rolls. They were tasty as well. Everything has always tasted fresh from Bella Cora. Their pie is now legendary for me. I think it's going to become a Thanksgiving and/or Christmas tradition to buy one every year going forward. I haven't tried any of their other pies yet but I know I will. For sure, I will keep buying their salted caramel. The price is a bit steep ($30) but it was worth every penny and then some. This pie is like gold! If you haven't tried it yet, do so as soon as you get a chance. Gosh, I'm still in LA LA land after eating this pie. I'm already thinking about my pie plans for Christmas at Bella Cora! Today is going to be a great day! Thank you for getting my day started Bella Cora! I am thankful for you!

Came here on Saturday for one of their special I had to try.... SMORES CROISSANT omg guys it was amazing. I highly recommend to get it if they come back with this one. Also got regular croissants and a couple scones. All very good! I love this place! The staff is always super nice and helps me when I can't make a decision haha! Make sure you call and reserve their special or come in early on Saturday before everything is gone!

It's a little tucked away in a strip mall but it's well worth the visit. It's tucked between a tax service and mattress store, so it's basically a perfect date night. The selection is small, but everything we tried was delicious! We got the lemon bar for ~$3 and a chocolate croissant for ~$4. The service was prompt and very friendly. The four stars is for the seating which was cramped and surrounded by flour bags -- I definitely recommend taking your tasty treats to go! Overall, I would recommend coming here if you wanna grab a scrumptious pastry to go.

I'm curious if their macarons are made with any allergens(specifically nuts) I want to try them but I'm worried so can anyone tell me?

I know they have traditional ground almond Macaroons. And one flavor they sometimes have is hazelnut, but their flavors change all the time and depending on which location you go to, I'm not allergic to nuts so I've never asked if they make ones… Read more

You could tell a lot of thought and effort went into hosting the event, and it made the experience even more memorable for fans visiting from out of town. Not a lot of traffic in the place, but certainly a steady flow of customers. From the moment you walk in you can see all the donuts, cookies, and pastry squares... and then you look at the wall... between the art and the awards, this place is great. My kids enjoyed the "Labubu" cookies, I enjoyed an amazing tasting lemon poppy original donut. I soaked it with a nitro cold brew with a green cream foam - called the Baby Yoda. It was really good. Having recently moved to El Paso from Montréal, a city teeming with quality pastry shops…read more(especially french pâtisseries), I was on the lookout for a competent pastry shop here in town as soon as I landed. My first discovery was Belle Sucre, which, while struggling ever so slightly with actual french pastries (and french grammar, "sucre," a masculine noun, being "beau," not "belle"), excels at putting a french twist on american desserts. My second discovery was Orange Peel, a pastry shop that could stand toe-to-toe with Montreal's more eclectic (and less traditional) pastry shops (e.g., Pâtisserie Rhubarbe), were it to spontaneously relocate there. Inside this diminutive (but oh so quaint) pastry shop stands a refrigerated glass display filled with triple-threat confections that a) are simultaneously playful and homey in appearance, b) demonstrate exquisite texture (a feat made all the more surprising by the fact that many of the confections are gluten-free), and c) feature creatively combined and expertly balanced flavours that bring into play natural aromas and just enough sweetness. (Indeed, in a rare show of restraint for an american dessert establishment, sweetness is here kept on a leash, letting instead aromas come to the forefront of the flavour experience.) Although pastries on offer change regularly, they always come across as completely thought-through and carefully put-together, as if the recipes had been worked on and perfected over years. Indeed, there is an effortless quality to how the one single chef behind Orange Peel comes up with and executes new recipes, one that testifies to the extent of her pastry passion, knowledge, and skills. To top it all off, she is extremely friendly and always a joy to talk to and discuss her work with. Fortement recommandé!
