From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!

Loveless now has to be a top 10 breakfast spot for me--maybe top 5. Even sampling some of their famous country ham from Toby's plate was a memorable experience. I only wish I had a bigger stomach because the portions are just so massive here. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

They have a great selection of their own microbrew beers, but they also have a nice selection of brunch cocktails from their full bar. I ordered the Cobb salad for my lunch. The portions size was huge, but the Chen in the Cobb salad was rubbery and had an awful texture. The salad was much better when I took it out. Server was excellent especially considering how busy they were. If I came back, I would definitely try something different to eat. Beer was very good though!

Now it's got so many extra oils and toppings that are extraneous. When you end up mixing them in they don't actually do anything substantial to the flavor profile. I wish they'd yield back with the out of place accoutrements and let the star of the show be their excellent soup. The salad was perfection after some changes! I ordered the Cobb. The grilled chicken had that genuine grilled taste. I had them hold the egg and avocado on the Cobb and sub out the ranch for their house strawberry vinaigrette. Star of the meal! Their house mule cocktail was excellent. Perfectly made, I just wish my lime hadn't been so...dehydrated. My husband has the salmon and the only thing he could say was it was okay but a little dry. Our waitress was very pleasant but very apologetic. We had to wait a good ten minutes before I finally had to get up and go find a high chair. When you have a wiggly two year old and it isn't busy at all it was just inconvenient having to get up and wander around to find one myself while she chatted with the table departing behind us. This was my third visit to Strawberry Alley in the last four years. I would come here again for drinks with friends but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

The layered donut selections come in either sweet or savory, and all seem like something I'll end up trying eventually. This place does Their doughnuts unlike your traditional shop. It's light and fluffy, very similar to a croissant. A welcomed change I will admit. The *bacon egg and cheese* I was disappointed by. Be warned, it says on the menu "on an unglazed doughnut" (its really just a croissant). The fact that this sandwich has colby jack cheese on it made my sunny morning turn bland and flavorless. No breakfast sandwich should have colby jack on it. It has NO flavor. Swap it with American and thats instantly a better sandwich. *Sausage and egg biscuit* was very good with the fig jam. I wish it was bigger, portion size was pretty small on this one. The baristas made a little oopsies on our coffee and forgot the splash of oatmilk we requested in our *Honey Cinnamon Cold Brew*. But they were nice when we came up to ask about it. This drink, while SOUNDS GREAT, is lacking flavor in all categories. A hard pass. The honey just sinks to the bottom. SKIP SKIP SKIP

For a bachelor party, one of the guys booked tickets for us to go to a show. I personally knew none of the lineup that was performing throughout the evening but still wanted to go and check this out anyways. Walking up to the place, nothing too special. As you got closer, the flair started to show of how great this place is. Then walking in....WOW! Not what I expected at all. The decor is incredible. It's so hard to explain so you have to see it for yourself. Likewise when you get in to your seats (we were on the first level), sitting down to look at the stage is just something so unique and different from a typical music venue. Usually the shows are broadcasted live to a radio station, so they really put out a good show each night. You could lightly talk to people around you during the shows, so it wasn't incredibly loud like most places. The lights that were behind the different performers felt so nice on your eyes too. Everyone sounded great and the last guy had been performing for over 50 years! They still brought him out and he put on a heck of a closing performance! It was sad to walk out of this place. My friends felt the same way, we did a lap of the place and stuck around in the gift shop for a bit to continue absorbing the evening. We still even stood outside for a while taking pictures. The Grand Ole Opry...is something! Words can barely describe this place. You have to see it yourself, pictures don't do the justice.

Can accommodate lots of country music fans (and tourists); and at least the truly grand old Ryman continues to host many wonderful shows. Warning for those staying at the Gaylord and walking over to the Opry for a show. You'll already have walked A LOT inside the Gaylord, and it's a good ways from there on the path to the Opry. We had one of the rooms closest to the Opry side Gaylord exit and it was still a solid mile walk each way. If that's a bit far for you, and you're thinking you'll just take a break mid walk, there is no resting point, not a single bench, between the hotel and opry. We'll certainly see how convenient ride share is for our next Opry concert. The benches (not seats) at least are cushioned, so they emulate the church pews of the Ryman, with a touch more comfort. Signs show the venue getting a little worn. For example, there was no running water in any of the sinks in the men's room. We'll be back. How can you not.
