And the way the rain comes down hard That's the way I feel inside Fried Pork Chops & Eggs Breakfast Plate from #TheLovelessCafe
    Mojo S.

Loveless now has to be a top 10 breakfast spot for me--maybe top 5. From the fresh biscuits with fresh jams and jellies, to big honking breaded pork chops, to a superb hashbrown casserole--there's nothing I disliked here. Even sampling some of their famous country ham from Toby's plate was a memorable experience. I only wish I had a bigger stomach because the portions are just so massive here. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

This is a must stop when in Nashville. The service is always amazing and everyone is so friendly. The food is always delicious. Tried the chicken fried chicken special and it was so good! The chicken gravy was a nice touch! The biscuits and jams are the best around! It's a fun place to visit with the stores they have and if you have to wait they have cornhole out back!

This restaurant is about 25 minutes from Nashville, the drive was nice. I wanted to visit based on the history, the people stopping by for food and a place to stay. I was disappointed that none of the original hotel rooms were available for show. I did like walking around the property and seeing all the celebrity photos on the walls. I ordered the fried chicken meal with fried green tomato and extra pimento cheese to try, the food was decent, the fried green tomatoes were really greasy, the jams with the biscuit were good. We had great service in the restaurant; the outer building shops were cut but not very friendly staff . it was cool

We came back to the Loveless Cafe after our first visit last year. The biscuits are delicious(addictive actually)and the prices are reasonable for the food you get. Service is always excellent. Do remember to tip your server well. The eggs and bacon were fine yet the hash brown casserole was a bit rich and the fudge pie we took to the hotel room for later was a bit too sweet. But do come for the breakfast and especially the biscuits. The biscuits were dyed pink in honor of Dolly Parton's passing. That was a nice touch.

It's been a while since I've felt inspired to write a review. @TheLovelessCafe and its team won my heart. April, our server, was friendly and efficient, providing perfectly balanced customer service. The atmosphere is joyful and fun-filled, perfectly matching the staff's light joking. The Cafe is famous for its biscuits, and I understand why. They are light, fluffy, and flavorful. The grits were perfect--no need to add anything. The prices are fair. I liked everything except the fried potatoes. I agree with the manager; the me ma potato tastes better. Thank you. Loveless Cafe is like a one-stop shop for travelers and truckers. The campus offers a variety of tourist attractions. I didn't feel loveless; I felt loved and appreciated. #KeepGoingOAM

Let's start with reservations: I highly recommend one. They are busy, and for good reason. If you end up not having one, wait! It's worth it. We have been in Nashville for ten days and dined at a lot of nice restaurants. Our brunch at Loveless might be my favorite meal. They have a smoked brisket feature on Saturday and Sunday, you can order a smoked brisket omelette with cheddar and au jus, or classic sliced brisket. The sliced brisket is massive. You will have snacks for days. The omelette will change your life. This will be a dish I talk about for years to come. Flavorful, melts in your mouth, and unique. There's also lots to do on the property, there's a shop to buy jams and meat, another small gift shop, and off to the side is a small area for little local shops from artists. Great job, Loveless!

Love the southern atmosphere this place brings. Very country home feeling with the waiting staff and host entry. I had to get the fried chicken with two eggs on the breakfast menu. The hot chicken was so good. Love the different options of jelly and jams. They bring out to the table with biscuits. Very filling size portions all around. The gift store was too cute with the kitchen gadgets available for sale. Also bringing home souvenir items like country ham, and jams were available.

I'm so sorry to be writing this review so late, because I'd forgotten the name of my waiter --- but he was awesome and I promised a review would come sooner-or-later. I was passing through Nashville, and saw this spot "The Loveless Cafe", featured several times on certain YouTube Channel reviews. It looked good, and it looked like it wouldn't disappoint so I took the opportunity to pay a visit. To be honest, it's a bit off the beaten path from the "main city", but that's also part of the charm. When you arrive in, it really is a "premises"; there are different buildings, etc. I just followed where the people went, and thankfully it was the restaurant. I was greeted promptly, and sat immediately. The southern hospitality always surprises me because I'm from the northeast lol. It's honestly a breath of fresh air. I ordered the country-fried steak w/ two eggs, and for my side I got the famous hashbrown casserole. After the order was put-in, immediately my 3 HUGE biscuits arrived, all for me. I get the hype! They are a different-style biscuit from the norm, but still amazing to try something off the beaten path. Pivoting from the biscuits, on to the main. I'm a bit of a "prude" to country fried steak, and when I saw it --- it was huge --- but it was so "square"? The shape was weird, and the texture was not my favorite. Not like the ones in Texas I've had. Also, I think I am just not a fan of hashbrown casseroles in general --- neither here, nor at Cracker Barrel. I think my mind only liked "crispy potatoes" in the morning, so I won't hold that against them. I do think both of them are good in their own right, just not my cup of tea. 3.8/5. Don't get me wrong --- I was and still am extremely pleased with this place. Pay them a visit, try their amazing biscuits, and get the full southern experience! 4/5

This place has been on my bucket list for over 10 years, so I was excited to finally make it happen. I was visiting my only friend from high school who lives in Franklin. I am absolutely certain she is tired of bringing every out of town guest here, but she knows how much of a foodie I am, and she is a good sport... Her strategy was to avoid the lines, and we absolutely did that by making an 8:15 am reservation. When we arrived, the place was only about half full, so the reservation almost felt unnecessary, but I would still recommend making one just in case. There are only a few things that can get me out of bed early on vacation, and a bucket list restaurant is definitely one of them. I usually prefer a crispy, flaky biscuit, but these are more buttery and pillowy. Even so, they completely won me over on the first bite. They bring a generous pile of biscuits to the table for free, and it felt like more than two per person. After starting with a simple biscuit with butter and blackberry jam, I decided to go all in and ordered a biscuit sandwich with bacon, egg, and hashbrown casserole. Honestly, the biscuit on its own might have been even better than the one I built, which says a lot about how good they are. I also spent some time in the store, which was fun to browse. I managed to resist the "praise the lard" mug, but it was tempting. Overall, this lived up to the hype for me, especially if you go early and skip the crowds.

Must visit for the biscuits! The fried chicken was ok. I went around 3:30 pm and there was no line. It helped that it was raining outside. This place is usually packed and you will most likely have to wait. There's a few stores around for you to walk around. Theres a lot of parking spaces.

Southern fried goodness totally worth the drive outside of Nashville to experience. Our watreds even sent us home with biscuit!

The woman staffing the front entrance was super nice and bubbly, we were seated right away. The café is brightly lit and has a lot of natural light too, it gives a very clean and welcoming feel. Our waiter was not great. He was not very attentive nor super friendly, which was disappointing. We all had the "Music City Platter", two had bacon which they enjoyed. I decided on their country ham and did not enjoy it. It was super dry and overly salty. I was surprised that they are known for it. We all enjoyed our eggs, pancakes, and potatoes (highly recommend the hash brown casserole). And then there are the biscuits and jam. Omgoodness! So, so good, do not skip them. We were glad to take some home with us. Overall, I would totally recommend stopping in for breakfast. Our waiter is the ONLY reason I'm docking a star.

We started with the meatball skewers, which were great, and the sauce that came with them was perfection. I also have to mention the Cabernet, one of the best glasses of wine I've had in a while. The one drawback was the dinner menu felt a little limited on options. That said, what we got delivered. I even had a chance to go before, when Toby and I had made plans in 2020 to come to the city. Obviously, we know what happened then. I think it was worth the wait. I loved their whole take on Southern cuisine. From the confit wings in Alabama white sauce to their Bucksnort trout, to their Heritage pork--everything tasted delightful. Admittedly, the bright green sauce and saturated Carolina gold rice looked a little funny to me. But once I had my first bite I thought it was heavenly. The server was impeccable. He was courteous, quick, and helpful. I had questions about the menu and concerns about if the arrangement of dishes ordered were too much. But he made the whole meal better with his suggestions and assurances. Even the other incidental staff were well-trained, filling the water and always assisting with the experience. The ambiance was picture-perfect. Obviously the place is permeated with charm and class in equal measure. It felt like we were eating in our well-off friend's home and had put together a spread of time-tested country favorites but with a twist. From the decor to the herb and vegetable garden outside, I felt super welcomed and comfortable. Yes, Husk was a success. I'm a changed man because of the experience. Sufficed to say I will be recommending it to even more people than before and will be waiting like a puppy at the window back home for the next opportunity to come back to Nashville and/or the other locations for my next meal.

They're known for their roast beef but there are so many things that most people want to try so they offer half portions of most of their proteins. The setup is cafeteria style, where you grab a tray and ask each server which item you want. I was completely lost, but the servers were really nice and helped us through the process. The food: 1/2 order of roast beef - this is what they're known for, so if you eat beef, order this one. Tender, very meaty, with tons of jus. Blackened salmon - I'm always skeptical of seafood in a cafeteria setting, but I had a bite of my friend's dish and this was perfectly cooked. Fried Chicken - crispy skin, tender meat, well seasoned. Turnip Greens - flavorful, not mushy Cornbread - solid Desserts - Chess Pie and Pecan Pie - sweet, but as expected. Pretty good Cauliflower hash - very cheesy, could pass for potato hashbrowns but a little drier. It was ok. Creamed corn - way too sweet for my preference Arnold's is a fun time. They paid homage to Masters of the Universe while we were there. The live action movie playing on one TV and the animated series playing on another. There's even a free arcade game emulator out in the front lobby. Arnold's approach to food is no frills.
