They laughed and continued making body weight the punchline of their conversation. This wasn't a private conversation. iIt was taking place in front of customers in the waiting area. European Wax Center is a business where people come for personal, body-focused services, and many clients are already feeling vulnerable. Hearing employees openly body shame people was shocking, unprofessional, and made me feel so uncomfortable that I chose to leave rather than receive my service. I hope management takes this seriously and provides coaching so every client feels welcomed and respected, regardless of their body size.

Price- I did my full arms $35 and brows ar $20 not including the 20% off from Yelp. For the Reno area and what felt to be higher end products she used I found it to be a good value. Service- this is a one-woman shop but I found the technician sweet charming and genuine. She seems to have a very strong focus on the best care possible which I can appreciate. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and had a great experience with Brea. I will say I wish they had an extra curtain or partition of some sort (what are those called, a Japanese room divider?). You enter through a door and then they pull the curtain closed to cover the door. Maybe they could put one more curtain perpendicular to that one at the foot of the bed just to give a little bit more sense of peace of mind regarding privacy.
