The person who helped me was rude from the start, giving me attitude even though the whole process took under 10 minutes. When he was almost done he said "so you don't want to keep any of the other shades for your kit? That's so unfortunate". No, I don't want to keep anything that could negatively harm my clients. Super unprofessional and rude, I hope this person can reflect on their attitude and treat everyone more respectfully.

So far I've tried their lavender shampoo, conditioner and rose toner, and I liked them all. They smell good and lather/wash well. The prices are reasonable as well. I filled two containers of shampoo and conditioner plus two bottles of rose toner for 28 bucks. One bit of caution: make sure to do short pauses when you refill the conditioner, as it tends to overflow. The staff also mentioned that a Beaverton location is opening this Fall, which is great so I can get my refill without commuting to their Portland locations.

However, Bluemercury has always been exceptionally good and my most recent experience is the reason. I came in a few days ago, restocked on some of my mainstays, was greeted immediately, and then given the freedom to just shop and browse without anyone hovering over me. When I had a question, the sales folks were more than helpful! The store was immaculate and everything was priced and easy to navigate. The next day I got an email about a 20% off promotion (Murphy's law) and I called to see about a price adjustment. Mindy on the phone could NOT have been more lovely! She looked up my purchase, figured out which items were eligible and refunded the difference with zero problem. No hassle, I didn't have to come back to the store, bring my items, nothing. I am now a customer for LIFE.

My injector made me feel comfortable and even provided me with anxiety relief tools. She was precise, patient, and provided wonderful patient care. I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.

This ruined the experience for us, even though we like Kiehl's products.
