Basic manicure was all I wanted. Usually service here is quick, professional, etc. However, today I received the most cursory of services. She began to file without asking me if I wanted a trim. Then trimmed my nails square, as quickly as possible, even though I prefer them rounded. Did not ask me what I wanted. Put out a dish of cold water to soak my hand in - that's a first! cold water! Only treated cuticles on one hand. I picked out a lavender color and the technician applied pink. Never asked me if I liked the color or anything. At the end, she brought up the nail blow dryer from the floor - I wasn't going to put my hands where other people's feet usually go. So, I left. It's disappointing, I've been here several times and I have not been disappointed before. The picture is of a manicure 4 hours later. Bella Nail's is a cute nail salon located right on Haddon Ave. The staff is friendly, nice, and the salon is clean. When you walk in, you check in using an IPAD. I highly recommend making an appointment and you can call or make it online. Every time, I have gone, I never had to wait long. The place is really quiet and they play Grey's Anatomy without the sound on. It offers a nice, relaxing experience where you can just unwind and enjoy the services that you are getting. They offer manicures and pedicures. For a manicure, you can get gel, acrylic, or dip. For pedicures, you can get a regular one, or a gel one. Every time I go, I get a dip manicure. It usually takes an hour or less depending on how busy they are. They will ask you what you want and listen to you. Their prices are good and if you pay with a card, they do have a little service fee. The fee is not anything major which is good. If you are local or live near Haddon Township, and want to get your nails done right, then this is the place for you. A good, clean, quality salon with a great staff that offers a nice relaxing experience. It will be worth every penny and you will have amazing nails! read more

The place is really nice and clean. Everyone was friendly. Very quiet. They played greys anatomy on two TVs. Very low. Everyone should know when they walk in that when you pay with card you get changed 4% more. They do have an atm right by the entrance. I also think no matter what the shape is you get charged a "special shape" fee. As for the actual service, I liked it. Mia did my nails. She was very patient and kind and took her time. My appointment was at 1030 and I left at 12:30. She's very talented. I showed her a picture and she did it all by hand. Found them through Instagram. Also the pedicure was NICE. One of the best pedicures I've had in a while because the massages at the end was NICE. There were only two things I didn't like. I said to her I had a crooked nail when she was doing them, before she laid down the acrylic and she said she would file and it wouldn't look crooked but it still did. Maybe from her angel she couldn't see. Not sure. And then the up charge on the special shape, I felt wasn't a special shape. I got my nails done on 9/29 and by Sunday the 2nd I broke a nail. I was cleaning. But it's okay. Maybe I was scrubbing too hard. Wish it would've lasted longer but maybe if I didnt have to clean they would've lasted longer. I went with a gift card purchased for Mother's Day. There is no expiration date on the gift card, but this business refused to honor it because they have a new owner. On a positive note, this place is very clean and does not have the odor some nail salons have. On a negative note, the gentleman doing my pedicure made a comment regarding my nail fungus as being a lack of calcium and made recommendations as to what I should use to cure this. I have been to 3 podiatrists, and dermatologists regarding this. I have had laser treatments and have also used topical and holistic measures to cure it. Prior to this visit I have not been to a salon for a pedicure because I am embarrassed by this condition and also did not want to spread this by any means. With this being said, I feel that the employees should keep their opinions to themselves and not make medical guesses or recommendations. read more

I visited this salon for the first time today and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The yelp map is wrong on their location so do not be fooled; this salon is on the boarder of Collingswood and Haddonfield. The prices were reasonable at $25 for pedicure and $25 for gel manicure but the service was great. I asked the owner how new the salon was and learned they took over 3 years ago and did major renovations. This place is very clean and well decorated. Never going to Bella ever again! I called and asked how much for a pedicure for my 5 yr old and they said $7-10 so we went. When we got there I said I was the I one who called about having a pedicure w/ my daughter they said-"yes, OK right this way"-they did an OK job on our pedicures but when we went to pay they charged us $35 for my 5yr old. I asked how this could possibly be and their response was "we did a deluxe pedicure".Which was never discussed and outside of her getting to sit with her feet in the water I have no idea what was "deluxe" about her pedicure (they didn't do any designs and she needed no exfoliation)-I told them then and there they'd lost a customer and I intended to share my experience-their response-" Whatever". read more

Today 2/8/2016 was my first and last time here! I came in asking for a full set and a cut down. I had a gel overlay that needed to be removed first. I asked her to cut down my nails and she cut them so short that she cut my finger! She then put some antiseptic to stop the bleeding but it continued to bleed. She then started sanding down the other days. At one point she filed so much it burned and I had to pull my hand away in pain! At that point I told her I wasn't going to get a full set at this time. For this horrible experience I was still charged full price to have my gel removed. I will NEVER go back. Tomorrow I will go somewhere else for a new set. read more

We love Bella Nail Boutique so much. The salon is always spotlessly clean. All of the technicians are very competent and they all do a great manicure and pedicure. The polish is fresh, they have a large selection of regular polish, gel, acrylic and they also have the nail dip! They're very accommodating with appointments too. We moved out of the area a few years ago... but we still make the half hour trip to Bella because we love it there and it's far better than salons closer to us! read more

I have been to this salon a twice or thrice in the past, but the recent trip will be my last! Originally, I went to this salon on 12/29/2014 for a French pedicure and a gel French manicure. While the pedicure is still in tact, the gel manicure has caused many issues. I had to return on 12/31/2014 because my middle finger nail cracked when I reached in a bag of popcorn. When I returned, they fixed the middle finger nail, as well as the thumb and index finger which were on the verge of cracking. Unfortunately, I had to return on 1/2/2015 because my thumb nail cracked as I was putting on my Uggs. Yes, the same thumb nail they fixed two days before. They fixed the thumb nail. The employee who fixed my nail asked how my nails keep chipping. I informed them of the events that transpired. The employee then responded, "Your hands are moisturized. Your nails keep cracking because you wear lotion." Please keep in mind that I have gotten gel manicures before for other salons and all have lasted at least 3 weeks and I have used lotion everyday. I just smiled and asked her to clarify what she had previously stated. She repeated her statement and I smiled and nodded, all while thinking to myself, "I will never come here again." Now, it is 1/4/2015 and the polish on my index and middle finger is on the verge of cracking and a portion of the top layer of polish has cracked off of my middle finger. Yes, the same fingers as before. It's absolutely ridiculous. I will not be making a third trip to get the nails fixed for the third time, I will not be returning to this establishment for any service. read more

Where do I even start. First of all, the guy (black hair, tan skin, white shirt, face I'll never forget) was RUDE! My blood pressure is rising every word I type. "So much for me to do!" I asked for 2 colors and 1 design. The design was mermaid scales, and he claimed that they wouldn't look exactly like the picture (i expected this) because my nails were "small" however he didn't even ATTEMPT. It looks like I asked for some multiplication signs. To add to this, he put the scales on my middle finger on one hand, and my ring finger on the other. Why would I ask him to do this. My nails are stuck to my skin because of the gel polish. He tried to separate it by filing it which resulted in sheering my skin. ALSO, while picking my colors, I WAS RUSHED TO SIT DOWN, even though there was about 3 customers in the whole "boutique" including me and my sister. I have never been so dissatisfied that i downloaded the yelp app, made an account and wrote a review. I will never be returning. I wish I could give this place less then 1 star. read more

Update: I went back for a pedicure and gel manicure. It was packed and close to closing time but the staff was accommodating and stayed open late to see me. However, the gel powder was extremely thick and the pedicure painting was also thick and streaky. You could see the brush lines in my nails and globs of paint on my toes. I went into this salon today to get a gel manicure. I have a last minute event that popped up and I had to find a local spot. I had gel on my nails already so upon entry I was seated pretty quickly and the gel was soaked off. The technician that worked on me was less than polite. She didn't say two words to me! My nails are uneven and the polish job is HORRIBLE! It's very thick and quite sloppy. I have very sensitive cuticles and I asked her early on to "go slow" because I know this bothers me. She completely disregarded this request and rushed through the entire procedure. Overall, I am not happy with the service. I suppose this is what I get for randomly choosing a spot.
