Cheap products used. Nails started chipping and greening with fungus... The usual nail spot I go to was busy so I came here on a whim for a uv gel refill. I added some floral designs and paid over $70 (not including tip). The technicians skill was fine but after a week the uv gel started chipping and after another week I noticed a faint dark spot on one of my nails. When I went back to my usual spot and they took off the uv gel some of my nails were green. I was so confused and stressed. I learned when water gets stuck inside, fungus can grow leaving a green color behind. Commonly happens with acrylic sets. I was so grossed out and connected it to the cheap products they must have used. Like I said the gel started chipping after a week. And the fingers that had turned green must have also lifted a little bit for water to get in/ trapped. After reading some of the bad reviews I'm noticing a pattern w cheap products and sanitary issues... just wanted to add my experience so they could be made aware of this. The reason I didn't give this one star is bc their hours are flexible and the technician didn't do a bad job in terms of skill. read more

requested a manicure pedicure and waxing the technician I had she she cut my toe when giving me the pedicure, and she really didn't give me a massage that they do at the end of the service. She just punched my back and patted my shoulders. Then when I went to get the waxing half my eyebrow was left off. They didn't know how to work with long nails and had a very difficult time picking out a design. I had to change what I wanted so much because they couldn't do it. So I left with an okay attitude. I was not going to write a review but after 2 days with severe back pain and bruising, I felt I needed too. My two daughters and I went to get massages, pedicure and manicures. My massage was so painful, the young lady took her elbow and dug it so hard on my entire body, I never was able to relax through it. I have had many massages but never one as horrible as this one. The next day, I had several bruises through out my body and my back killing me. My one daughter also had the same experience. My gel pedicure was nice but my daughter's was horrible. For starters, the service here is impeccable. Everyone who works here is so sweet. I don't get my nails done too often, but I've been coming here for over 15 years. They remember my face and ask about my mom who also lives close by and comes here. Even though we're not in a big city, they have nail trends here from time to time. The designs are not always possible to the super-trendy styles, but the nail care and the products they use. The prices are very reasonable, especially with the pleasant shoulder and hand massage at the end. The salon itself is clean and kept. Let me preface this review by saying that I love this nail salon- this is not reflection of the salon itself but rather an employee. I have been coming here for years but the last two visits have been very upsetting for me. I had Joanna as my technician both times and she could not be any ruder. I was actually taken aback by how incredibly rude she was. The service she gives is half-assed, incredibly rushed and frankly, if i'm paying the amount of money for the services that I did, the least she could do is take a little bit more time. She doesn't speak to you, look at you or interact at all. The pace at which she does your nails is honestly insane. When I saw she was going to be doing my nails yesterday, I almost had half a mind to ask for someone else. But today, I am so unhappy with my service that I have taken to Yelp to unleash my emotions. My nails have looked awful both times. The first time, the owner stepped in and fixed them (thankfully). When I was there yesterday I specifically told Joanna with the things I was unhappy about (my nails were filed on a huge slant down to the bone basically, there were bubbles on the gel, majority of my cuticles were still left and she made me bleed due to her rushing) and she completely ignored my requests. So I use to go to this place for years. My nail lady left so I haven't gone as much due to the quality of service going down hill. About 3 days i got a gel manicure and traditional pedicure. I had a technician named Ivy and she appeared to be in a rush and was also rough. I was satisfied with the outcome however she drilled some of my nails too much to wear I had pain and told her. Then the other nail appeared pink. Other nails still have residue from the previous gel and dip powder I had on. Today I noticed a couple nails appear as if the polish is coming off. I will be returning for this issue corrected. They are clean and friendly here but I went there to have what I paid for done correctly and to have some peace of mind. read more

Came on a Friday morning and it looked really busy, yet they are fully staffed and without a wait, I picked my colors and someone almost immediately started to work on my mani/pedi. They had 7 pedicure chairs, and 8 manicure stands. The whole time I was there, I barely saw anyone waiting, but then again, it wasn't a weekend. Ivy was great. She was quick yet good. She also took the time to do a quality manicure/pedicure as compared to some places where they rush through and you leave with bubbles in your polish. Nope, not here! While doing my manicure, Ivy noticed a hair particle or part of the cotton that was on my thumb, she worked at it to try to get it off, and even when she wasn't able to fix it, she re-did the whole thumb without me having to ask. I have been to places where they would've pretended not to see that and if you ask, they huff and puff, complain in their foreign language, and make you feel like a jerk for even asking. Nope, not here! She also gave a killer massage, and with a few compliments she gave me here and there, she earned herself a nice tip! I felt great after leaving Dream Tips Nails! The best part of getting a great mani/pedi here is that if you pay in cash, it is only $25! Otherwise, with credit card it is $30 and even at that price, it is awesome! I wish I had found this place sooner! I definitely asked them for a frequent customer card (on the back of the store business card) because I will definitely be returning! After 10 services, 11th one you can get $10 off. Not bad! read more

I went and got a dip manicure a week ago, and it chipped less than a week later. They fixed it for free, but 3 days later (mind you dip usually last 3/4 weeks) ALL of my nails are breaking and falling apart I had to to go to my nail salon that I usually use to get it fixed. They are very nice but sometimes rushed... but the quality isn't worth it. I will never return. DO NOT get dip here it isn't worth your money. read more

Ok, so I'm either really picky or others are very easily pleased. The first thing that was a downside at this nail salon is the location and the parking lot. It's in an ugly, small strip mall on Kings Hwy... very busy, congested area. Also the parking lot is tiny, with about 2 spots allotted per store. Secondly, the salon itself is tiny. They do have a great polish selection and their prices were clearly displayed- a plus. Also, the man who greeted us was polite- another plus. The manicure was ok, the hand massage was way too fast, but the polish did dry quickly and evenly. Another con, the biggest of all to me- there is one older t.v. hung on the side wall with a broken screen. Even if you wanted to watch it, you'd have to twist your neck while you're relaxing to see it... maybe that's why they give you a neck massage while you're drying! Ugh, I have yet to find my perfect salon... or something even close. read more

Desperately needing a pedicure on a Friday night, I headed to my usual local strip mall nail place around 6:50 p.m., just to find that they were closing at 7:00. I really had my heart set on this pedi, so I thought about whether there were any other nail places around. I remembered passing by Dream Tips many times, as it is just around the corner from my home, so I thought I'd swing by to see if they were still open. Approaching the door, I saw they were open till 7:30, so I figured plenty of time for a pedi! When I walked in I was surprised to see this place was HOPPING. A good sign, I suspected, as my usual place may only have one or two people in there on a Friday night. I was immediately taken and shown to my pedi chair, next to which was a menu of various pedicure services. Being a week away from a marathon, I decided to treat myself to a 20 minute reflexology treatment on top of my regular pedicure. I was really pleasantly surprised at the prices. A regular pedicure is only $20, and with the added on 20 minute reflexology, it came to only $35. That's not much higher than a pedicure alone at my usual place. The massage was nice - my technician took her time with my feet, and also did some hot stone work. After the whole pedicure, she walked me to the dryer and gave me a brief neck, shoulder massage while my toes dried. This was a nice added surprise! At the end of the night, I had clean, spring colored toe nails, rejuvenated feet from a nice massage, and my tight shoulders a little more opened, all for just $35 + tip. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. I believe Dream Tips has become my new nail place! One negative note is that the parking is extremely limited. It's so close to my house that in the future I'll most likely just walk here. read more

First time trying this place and I was definitely happy here. I came in for a refill at about 445 and had 3 broken nails so it took a little longer than usual. Even though it was approaching 6 pm when they were closing the guy doing my nails still did a wonderful job and didn't rush even though they were about to close. He still did a wonderful back massage and hand massage despite the time and my nails came out amazing ! Love this place for sure I'm glad I chose to go to this one today :) read more

$55 for a gel manicure with a design plus a pedicure. I brought in a photo of what design I wanted and they replicated it perfectly. Surprisingly empty on a Sunday afternoon, was seated right away and atmosphere was not too loud or bustling (can't say the same for some days during the week - for example Friday afternoons can be a zoo here due to the very competitive pricing). Definitely worth going here for a competitively priced mani/pedi. Only downside is it can get crowded/loud sometimes. read more
