My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! I found that my feet felt better doing it this way than having my feet soaking water first. Definitely coming back for a pedicure again as well.

I had upgraded the gel ((edit: I did pay for a more expensive gel and expect any gel in a manicure not to bend when you touch the end of your nail)). I will not go back as I don't like my nails breaking to the point they hurt. I had 7 / 10 nails break so low on my fingers that it hurt, and I am gentle on my nails. I would not recommend going here for a pedicure unless you are getting gel nails (usually turn out fine with minor flaws) but I opted for regular polish this time and it was like no one had taught this person how to paint nails. three coats of thick, uneven paint gooped onto my toes. there was maybe three minutes of dry time before she put the too coat on, creating an even more messy look. she then shooed me out of the chair without any dry time, and before I'd even left the store the nails looked like crap. Aside from the absolute garbage paint job, the leg massages feel like someone sanding your leg up and down non-stop- there's no actual massage technique. if it weren't for the massage chair i wouldn't consider it "massage included". I am now on my way to buy my own nail polish after spending $50 on an absolute TRASH pedicure. 0/10 won't go back. I wish I could put pictures in this review.

They truely take pride in their profession and it shows. Kennedy always makes sure I walk out of their cute studio loving my new nais, and never complains when I'm overly picky/critical or even change my mind halfway through my mani. Their basic manicures are perfection, but they also do some stellar nail art. I finally found a place that will do glitter and foil to my liking! My manicures last forever - they grow out before they will ever chip. And in the strange case they do get messed up, I can just give them a ring and come in for a free touch up. They truely know the definition of great customer service. As I mentioned in my opening sentence, the icing on the cake is their prices. Extremely affordable for $30 gel/shellac manicure, and only $5 for art or glitter/foil. I've paid that much at other salons in town for a regular polish mani that will chip in 5 days. I made a couples massage reservation weeks ago. Hot tip: they do 15% off sales a few times a year so get on their email list and buy a package since they don't expire. We got their Kura massage and they were able to get us in the same room. It was so relaxing and every time we go, I always regret not getting the 90 min massage. My massage therapist Kierstie was incredible! I mentioned my neck and upper back pain and she perfectly focused on them and the surrounding muscles to loosen all the tightness. My husband had Heather and he said she was great too! The massage beds at Kura Door got a big upgrade years ago to medical beds so you can get maneuvered into positions that are more optimal to get certain muscles. Ugh! I can't love this place enough. It's peaceful from the minute you walk in. You're escorted to take your shoes off and shown the dressing room to change into your robe. The waiting area has warm water, dried fruit, cold water and teas that are DIVINE! We didn't get a facial but in past times, I generally always get one.

There are also lot of different offerings to be customized to your liking and you can spend time at the steam room or quiet rooms with light snacks, water, and tea options. I loved every minute here and can't wait to go back!
