I knew I found the right person when he took my face in his hands and studied my features for several minutes while he felt my hair the whole time. Then he went to work. I moved to SLC a year ago and have been looking for my hairstylist and I know I found her finally! Where I moved from, I had been going to the same stylist for almost 10 years. So the new stylist had big shoes to fill. Rylie is kind, understanding, and listens without getting frustrated. I know I can be a bit difficult when it comes to my hair because my old hairstylist had known me for so long she knew exactly what to do. Seeing a new hairstylist can be difficult because the color is a different brand, the toners are different, etc. etc. Rylie has been nothing but understanding with me and listened to my "let's try this" etc. And we finally got to a PERFECT color! She is amazing and does a great job! The salon itself is super cute and parking is very easy. They often have great deals on hair products and have a good selection. Prices are great as well.

I have (had?) very long, curly, frizzy hair that I've had straightened with varying degrees of success since I was 12. Then Covid happened & I had health issues & then my long-time stylist of 12 years moved. 4 years later and my hair was an utter disaster. It wasn't hair so much as a rat's nest that happened to be attached to my skull. I researched a number of salons and stylists before contacting Scott. He made me feel secure about making an appointment for a Brazilian Blowout. I got lucky and snagged an appt. with Amy on a Tuesday. Oh my god, Scott and Amy, where have you been all my life?! First, the whole vibe of the salon is simultaneously super chill and welcoming while somehow managing to make it clear that these stylists know hair and they're going to do it right. Both Scott and Amy greeted me like we were old friends and it was effortlessly easy to chat with them and it was genuinely enjoyable to make conversation. As someone who is often terrible at small talk and deathly shy, my saying this is no small thing. And my hair. Oh my god. My hair. I've had Brazilian blowouts before, but my Amy absolutely does it right. I am often *that* person who is hesitant as ... to "just trust" a hairstylist to cut off length or do a lot because while yes, it grows, I'm scarred by terrible haircuts as a child. I had zero hesitation with letting Amy take off several inches and my hair looks so beautiful and healthy! She also recognised that our original plan for my cut would make my hair look too stringy and I was happy to go with what she felt was best. I am so glad I did and I am thrilled with the end result. Look, I've been to the most expensive salons, I've tried ethnic salons, and if you have unmanageable, frizzy hair and you want a beautiful cut or Brazilian blowout, look no further. Oh! At the bottom it was lighter because of some hair lightening spray I put in over the summer. I had very little style and shape to my hair and it was sort of dull and lifeless. I showed Katie a picture of what I wanted and she was extremely upfront with me about my hair color and how it would require at least two sessions to achieve the look I wanted. So part 1 was balayage to give me a new lighter base color. Then, a few weeks later, I came back for highlights and foils to achieve the lighter pops of blonde I wanted. She toned it down to remove some warmth and by the end of the second session I was so thrilled and loved the color. You have to be patient! You can't go in with dark espresso hair and expect to come out looking like a blonde/bronde bombshell. I included photos to show what it looked like after the first session. The end result is amazing. Katie really listened to me and what I wanted. She really achieved the look I was going for and also cut my hair in an awesome way to give it shape, style, and texture. Would recommend 100% I'm so in love with my hair. After years of extensions I'm so happy to finally love my own hair. As you can see from the before picture my hair was really thin and shapeless and now it looks much fuller and has a ton of body. I love it!!

I was a hair model for Gabrielle- I asked for honey blonde highlights with a trim and I left with exactly what I was looking for. She did a wonderful job addressing my concerns, answering my questions and asking questions to give me my desired look. I have very thick hair so sometimes it can take hours and hours to highlight but Gabrielle was thorough and efficient. I also enjoyed the Olaplex treatment as that helped with some of the breakage the following days after my appointment. Overall very happy with my hair and I would absolutely go back.
