Took a friend here this past weekend to get our nails done, My friend had received a fill on her gel nails and I treated myself to a pedicure, manicure. We were both seated promptly without any wait time and my girlfriends nails wee gorgeous afterward. My pedicure was relaxing as usual, and my nails looked great also. I did not use a gel product and my nail color chipped after only two days wear (of course I had chosen a unique color that had glitter in it) so I returned to the shop two days later and they promptly redone my nail where the previous nail polish had chipped for no charge and without question. I was happy with the prices, convenience and overall service, I will be returning. read more

Terrible. My daughter recently moved to Redding and I'm from out of town. I took her there a couple days before her wedding to get our nails done. She had called and requested an appointment with a specific nail tech (Amy?) that had been recommended to her by a co-worker for a set of acrylic nails. She was instead assigned to a gentleman (don't know his name), and he was awful. Not only did he do a sloppy job, he was rude and impatient when she was trying to decide on a gel color (and one of their colors was completely different that what was painted on the sample). I told them that she was getting married that week and so wanted her nails to look as good as possible. We were extremely disappointed with how her nails came out -- they were uneven and the polish was messy. I got a simple gel manicure and we both got pedicures and they were okay, but I didn't find the people there to be friendly or welcoming at all. Their prices are also too high for the level of service received and we obviously won't be back. Wish we had looked them up on Yelp before we went. read more

The only place that can get my pink and whites exactly the way I want them. The owners are very sweet and really care about there clients. My favorite is Tim. I only had one bad experience there and that was my very first time trying out a gel pedicure. I wanted a glitter fade and it turned out very bad. The girl who did them knew I didn't like them and offered to re do them. This place is great, and if I had the money to keep up with my nails I would defiantly be a regular. read more

Had a GEL french mani on Saturday, May 12th. 3 days later on May 15th the white polish started chipping off. Today, May 16th all of the "GEL" has now peeled off ALL of my fingers. I've never had gel peel off my fingers that fast and easy like regular polish sometimes does. No Bueno! read more

I will never ever go back here nor would I ever suggest anyone to go here. Worst manicure experience I have ever had. Horrible customer service, no one even said hello. I made an appointment for a gel manicure and the guy who did my nails didn't greet me or talk to me at all whatsoever. My nails are not fully painted, all edges are showing my actual nails. There's not enough coats of polish so you can see my nails through the polish. He smudged my thumb knowingly and was rude to me when I asked him to fix it. He tried to fix it twice by filing it. It was still lifting/peeling off before I even paid for them. I told the lady up front and they tried to "fix" it for a third time and it still resulted bumpy and partially unpainted. Over priced and in need of a face lift! The staff doesn't really communicate, but they're quick. The pedicure was rushed. My massage felt a pat down and I don't feel she spent time eliminating the dead skin/cuticles as she should. She was very rough on my nails removing the gel polish. Not to mention the little attitude they have but try to cover. Expect to pay $50 for a basic pedicure and gel color change. Only giving 2 stars for the simple fact she at least took time polishing. read more

I liked how my nails turned out, however, I have never experienced such awful customer service. The person who was doing my nails was arguing with me and got mad at me when I misunderstood what exactly he was asking me. He, at one point, cussed under his breath which took me by surprise. I understand I could not do their job but I expected a little more understanding on their part to be able to work with me. Fabulous! Seriously one of Reddings best kept secrets. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They always take walkins yet treat you as a loyal customer. I have been so pleased every time I received a service there. Tim is my nail tech, he is super fast and does an excellent job. I get so many compliments on my nails. Amy is his wife, she is the boss :-). The pedicures are awesome. The ladies really take their time and massage your legs and feet forever. I will never go anywhere else. I'm visiting from out of town and needed a pedicure before a graduation. I called ahead and they were able to see me in 15-20 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later, they had a large nail polish selection, including OPI. I had to wait a few more minutes to be taken to a chair. They have many pedicure massage chairs, and I was placed in a small alcove in the back of the shop. As far as nail shops go, this was pretty standard, no frills. The lady who preformed my service was polite. The leg/foot massage was sub par, they do use a scrub then a mixture of lotion and oil, but her massage consisted of quickly rubbing up and down legs and feet with no pressure. (They were very busy the day I went due to graduation). She began to apply the nail polish and it wasn't covering well, she was going to leave it at two coats even though there were streaks and white spots. Once the polish was on it was clear that the nails hadn't been trimmed evenly either, I had to ask her to reshape and repaint. I will say that the lady was very nice about it and even thanked me for mentioning the issues, she said that it's the only way she'll learn. Unfortunately this experience will not bring me back to this nail salon on my next trip. read more

Came in today for glitter white square tips. This was my first experience here ( I am from out of town ) I came in without an appointment and only waited 15 min to be seen. I did not mind the wait at all. He was quick to do my nails but did an amazing job. I recommend this place to anymore that lives in the area! read more

I've been to a few places in redding to get a pedicure and this is by far my favorite. My boyfriend and I went in and they looked super busy, I figured it would take awhile but we got in within 10 minutes. We got the deluxe pedicure which was still really reasonable on pricing and they worked on us for a solid 45 minutes. Even my boyfriend was in heaven. I will definitely be returning!! read more

All they care about is ur money they did and fast and horrible job didn't even clean up my cuticles Not to mention the nails started lifted and cracking LITERALLY the next day. I've had my nails done PLENTY of times and they have NEVER been this bad. The products they use are CHEAP and the ppl in there don't give a crap what ur nails look like either they just want ur money. I do NOT recommend ANYONE go to this horrible place. This was my first time at Bella, and I had heard great things. However, I got gel shellac nails, which are supposed to last 3 weeks, and they peeled off after only one. I have gotten gel nails at other places before, and they lasted a long time, sometimes even a whole month. The quick degradation of the Bella gel was really disappointing and I will not be getting a gel manicure there again. On the up side, the pedicure equipment was clean and they worked fast. read more

I am new to the area and really wanted to get my nails done with my friend. We went on Yelp to find good places that got good reviews and saw this one. This nail salon holds true to the good reviews. They took their time, they were nice, they were considerate towards what was comfortable and what wasn't. And at the end of the relaxing experience I learned that they were cheaper than other nail salons in Redding in which what would have costed me $40, costed me $25. I went to Bella Nails a few days ago with a friend. We both got a manicure and a pedicure. The whole time we were there the staff was rushing and talking amongst themselves like we weren't even there. The few other clients in there were also feeling uncomfortable. The nails themselves were mediocre. I've gone here several times and felt this way on and off but it had never been this bad. I won't ever be going back and my friend feels the same. We made an appointment for a pedicure and I sat in the chair for 45 minutes while the guy did a pedicure on my daughter and cut his finger and got blood on her leg and foot. They never did talk to me and ignored me until I said I was leaving. Then all they said us so sorry. They're very unprofessional. Never going back. read more

My nails looked really cute, but the last two times I've went there they ended up bad.. One time I went and the nails were crooked and the paint peeled off as soon as I left. And this last time 3 nails popped off and it's only been day 3, and the paint was already starting to peel. And I had to pay a ridiculous price because they raised there prices. It's makes me sad to write this as I have been going here for years. 4 weeks ago I had a manicure and gel polish applied. The male tech was way too aggressive and left me with several cuts under the nail. My nails literally burned when I went to bed that night. Over the next 2 weeks it was painful just to wash my hands and I had a few fingers I needed to apply neosporin to and bandaid. When I went for my usual appointment I requested just a polish change, no manicure and explained to the tech what happened. When my gel was soaked off I noticed several of my nails were lifting and the skin under and around my nails was peeling. The tech brushed it off and told me it is from washing my hands too much and continued to polish. Well they have been getting progressively more irritated so this weekend I removed my polish at home and was dismayed to see that several of my nails are now discolored and lifting. I sought medical treatment and I have a bad infection requiring oral antibiotics, 3x daily nail soaks in bleach water and am awaiting a culture from the lab to make sure we are treating the correct bacteria. Never again will I go here. I went just this past Tuesday more out of convenience than anything and the prices seemed good (I'm new to the area and thought I did my research). On the phone, I was told it was $26 for a full set, $5 extra for crystals on two nails, $10 extra for crystals on all ten nails, and $10 extra for gel polish. For one, all the guy did was remove the clear coat I'd put on my nails before he started grinding away at my natural nails. All the other salons I've been to will trim your cuticles and/or hang nails, push them back, put cuticle oil on your nails, and lotion and massage, etc. I got none of that. He only spoke when my fiancé spoke to him and that was it (I talked more to my fiancé than anything). I went for a coffin shape and on all the nails, one side is straight and the other is angled. How he managed that was beyond me. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I had clumps of acrylic under my nails, nail glue all around my cuticles and skin, and waves/lumps of polish on most of my nails. The crystals I got are crooked, spaced way too far apart, and in a design I don't like; it was cute at first but now I don't care for it. I've spent most of the morning filing away the gel polish I did NOT ask for just to fix the shape of my nails. Trust me, if I knew how to apply acrylics, I'd do it myself. Long story short, I thought I'd only be paying $31 for a set, crystals on two nails, and regular polish. I ended up paying $40 for the set, two nails with crystals, and gel that I had said no to before I even sat down. On top of all that, after the second day, it looked like I already needed a fill. Went to try Bella Nails for a pedicure. I have been getting pedicures for a long time and am still fairly new in Redding that I haven't quite found the right spot yet. I had seen their sign and thought i would check them out, what a mistake and waste of money. I asked what they offered and was given their brochure, they had two choices and I choose their most expensive as it offered a paraffin wax as well as other items I felt would be worth the extra. I was wrong, they gave me a person that was so light handed and you could tell she was not experienced as well as I was clearly not receiving the same service as others around me. As she was finishing I asked about a mask and the paraffin wax that was on their brochure. A man walking by and a women at the counter said those are in the summer. I stated they are on your brochure you gave me and I picked the one that cost more because of it. Basically I was told its too bad and you still owe. They then took the brochures and crossed stuff off, said no more to me, no apology, no we will charge you for the other since we aren't going to give you what you paid for. By far the Worse nail place I have been too in Redding. I will never go there again. read more
