None have been that great - pretty meh - so I'm thrilled to have found Linh's on Yelp! I'll never have to try another place again. Very easy to make an appointment. I just texted back and forth with Lihn and he was extremely accommodating. It's quiet, clean, and easy to find inside of sola salon. I loved that my appointment started on time - nothing is more annoying than making an appointment and still having to wait 10-15 mins (which happens frequently at other salons). It's super small, with only two chairs, so you have to make an appointment in advance. Also - make sure you have enough time. My technician was extremely detail oriented, so my gel mani and pedicure took just under two hours. Full disclosure, it's a bit pricier than other places (gel manicure - $40 and regular pedicure - $35) but totally 100% worth it. Easily the best manicure and pedicure I've had in mount pleasant. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The venue is small and to some, this may seem uncomfortable; two pedicure stations and a single nail station, but IT WORKS. As a result of it just being to two of them, you receive primo service. Dedicated to YOU and potentially one other client only. I love booking duos with the Nguyen's with my dad or a friend and it's pampered service focused on only us and us alone. I also love that Mr. Nguyen books my appointments via a simple text message; it is that easy!

I recently came here with my niece for her birthday. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. The technician who did my manicure seemed rushed from the start. My cuticles were trimmed so aggressively that they were bleeding, and the polish application was sloppy. When she finished, she immediately got up and walked to the back and never returned. I was left sitting there and had to pick up my jacket and purse and carry them myself to the drying table. In the process, I smudged a couple of nails. I tried to find the technician to fix them but couldn't locate her. At that point, I just wanted to leave. It's disappointing because the salon clearly has talented staff, but the inconsistency in service really took away from what should have been a pleasant visit. I hope management addresses this so all clients receive the same level of care.

Ladies working there aren't terribly friendly and usually seem pretty put-out when I'm there, and I'm probably the lowest-maintenance customer they could get. They do a good job though, have never had an issue with my powder dips or pedicures. Pricey IMO for what you get in terms of product and service, but that seems to be de rigeur for Mount Pleasant.

First time (and last time) coming to this salon. I'll start with the pros: nice new place. A lot of…read morepedicure chairs as well as manicure stations. Modern booking system. Booked online and checked in upfront on their IPad. Once in the pedicure chair I was asked if I wanted something to drink by the man who sits upfront. Very nice to offer, I declined. The cons: while in the pedicure chair I got the inclination that the technician was very new or just very bad. I've been getting mani/pedi for over 30 years and it's normally a long string of paper towel/ tissue weaved in between your toes. She broke off individual pieces for each toe, barely separating them. I came in flip flops, but she put the store cheap ones on me. I tried to explain but she said "no English" so fine, waste flip flops on me for 30 mins. Then came the manicure. Basic mani not gel or dip. She puts on 3 coats. Again, maybe this is something new that I'm not aware of but almost always it's 2 coats. She finishes, rubs my forearms with lotion then grabs a hot towel to rub my arms and..... my wet nails. Rubs them. Clearly they all smudged. I told her just to take it off and I'll do it myself but a woman next to us with no client at the time saw and stepped in saying I can do it quick for you. And that she did. Her quick version was better than what I would do at home (maybe) but was clearly rushed and not worth the $25 they charged me for it. There are enough nail salons in Mt Pleasant that I'd say don't even bother with Sweetgrass
