Very good pizza. Family owned restaurant. The salad was nothing to write home about but it's a pizza shop not a salad store.

Saturday at 8:20pm called 3 times to order a pizza. They couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone.

We came to try this place from suggestion from a long time local resident. The parking lot was empty. We weren't sure it was open. The employee was very friendly and we placed our order after looking at the menu. The food was ok. The garlic knots did not appear to be house made knots. A little bit disappointed given their price. They were dry coated.. I expected them to come in a garlic sauce. They did not. They had marinara to dip into. The pizza was made on a conveyer oven which is the same style as a few of my hometown favorites. The pizza had either a semolina or cornmeal dipped crust.. bottom and sides I assume so it wouldn't stick. The toppings were under the cheese. I am not a fan. I prefer having the toppings cook and crisp a little as they go thru. On top Offers the ability to blot excess grease from the pepperoni off. The sauce was good.. nice blend and not too sweet not too savory, in the middle. The meatball sub was large for its price. The meatballs looked like prepackaged from their food supplier. Lots of sauce and cheese. Overall it's a good change. Restaurant was nice and quiet and it began to get busier. I don't know if it would be my go to pizza but it is a good change from other chain pizza locations. read more

Garbage pizza and garbage customer service. Skip this place. Delivery was over 30 minutes late, food was cold, very bland and they forgot a pizza. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Go to Dominos they're more Italian than this place will ever be. read more

Our family had a usual spot nearby, but they closed a few minutes before the posted time. We were recommended Bella Roma and we loved it! I love the flavor of sauce and cheese and my boyfriend loved the thin crust. I guess we have a new favorite now :D read more

Well, I forgot to take a picture, but I can share the experience here! We had a pretty big order that included a meat lovers pizza, chicken Alfredo pizza, fried mushrooms, potato wedges, a ham sandwich, meatball sub, and giant Buffalo wings. Within 30 minutes of this food arriving to our house, every bit was eaten. Bella Roma food and delivery were perfect. I ordered a margherita pizza & I got a pizza with pizza sauce, tomatoes & fontina cheese covering the pizza. I brought the pizza up to the owner & told him it was NOT a margherita pizza. he told me it was & did not ask if I wanted to order something else. it was terrible customer service! Really was hoping this was the best but they failed. Pizza was decent and cheese was the best but got a supreme and saw no mushrooms and tasted no bacon. They cover it so thick with cheese which isn't necessarily bad but hides what isn't on there. Pepperoni was very scarce. For the cost wasn't worth it. I'll be going elsewhere next time. read more

I am really a hard judge on pizza- I like the pizza in New York and New Jersey. Real NY pizza. It is so hard to find in the south for some reason. I had high hopes, but Bella Roma is equivalent to other pizza places. Their other food is good, but I was looking for a real NY style pizza. The staff was polite, no complaints there. Tried this place with my girlfriend for the first time today for lunch. Place was just about empty, so I figured we would get our pizza soon. We decided to get fried pickles to start and a large chicken alfredo pizza. The fried pickles were okay...just a bit too much breading. Second, our chicken Alfredo pizza had NO ALFREDO SAUCE...just red sauce. False advertising or a seriously silly mistake since Alfredo is literally in the name of the pizza. Sorry guys but my food was "lackluster" at best. I tried the everything pizza, fried mushrooms and the appetizer combo (onion rings, french fries, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers). First off , the sauce on the pizza had no flavor and neither did the toppings. The combo appetizer was obviously frozen and trucked in and also had little appeal. The mushrooms were good. I will start with a positive. The pizza is outstanding. The sauce is well-made and fresh tasting. The cheese is generous. The crust is crunchy. The portions are very generous. Now for the not so good. One bathroom was out of order. The other bathroom was out of toilet paper. The plates were very old and dirty and shipped. I ordered a salad and it was obviously old from a bag. Someone else ordered a stuffed shells with cheese and spinach. There was no spinach in it. The chairs were old and split. The paint was peeling. You had to bus your own table. It looked like in 2011 and 2012 they helped out the community quite a bit. They were many letters of appreciation from that time period. read more

This is a review for an online order placed via GrubHub. Bella Roma Pizza is a very good choice if you have a craving for Italian food. Their fettuccine alfredo and mozzarella sticks really hit the spot when I was at a hotel traveling for business. It was so good that I ordered from them again the very next day. I tried their calzone but even though it was very tasty, the crust was way too thick. Not so good when you get filled up on the crust when you're only half way done with it. They do offer other choices so I definitely would recommend this restaurant. read more

So this is not the kind of place I'd usually bother reviewing. It's not for fine dining, it's more casual fast-food pizza-- and we didn't have pizza. That might be fine but we had two parmigian dishes. Decent enough for cheap Italian, I suppose, if you have very little taste for authentic or original food (and I'm trying to be nice on that point. When you have cheese baked/caked on the side of the dish along with dried-out spaghetti strands, and flavor that tastes 'fresh out of a can,' then "decent" is being kind). But-- I'm writing for one very big pet peeve. We ordered off the menu (you place your order at the counter), and I noticed that our two dishes were priced $8 and $9 respectively but the total was over 20 bucks. (Even if tax is calculated at 10%, that doesn't add up.) So I asked the server and she tells me first that there is a charge for using a credit card (at a restaurant?) AND "the menus are outdated." Are you f$%^ing kidding me, "the menus are outdated?"!!!! How can a business do that and get away with it? Imagine the possibilities for criminal minds! You order something, you give them your card and then they tell you they charge extra for the card AND that the prices you saw listed aren't correct? I am still in shock an hour after getting home! Lastly, a new 'rule of thumb' i think I've learned tonight...maybe you can judge the quality that's coming by the # of guys wearing baseball caps as they eat? Again- I hate to even review a place that clearly is just a simple, casual no-frills place serving basic food....but the "outdated" menu thing really got my blood boiling! read more

On April 1 2022, my self and my best friend. Decided to eat there which we have done several times. We ordered the special 2 slices and drink upon getting my food. I started eating my food and found a hair in my food, it was not mine it was cooked under the cheese. I showed it to my best friend and he said sit it to the side. Once we finished our meal. I waited to show the manager as I walked up to the counter one of the workers said he has got a hair in his food I did not say anything about it yet. I spoke to the manager he said is it yours? I responded no it is not I am wearing a ball cap. The manager looked at it and said so, he shrugged his shoulders he did not care. if you eat there watch your food. read more

I've never been to the actual restaurant but I ordered takeout for the first time today. We got fettuccini Alfredo and meat lasagna. They were both so delicious as well as the pizza we ordered. Very dissapointed in the service received for a delivery from the Maryville store yesterday. They sent the order with a salad, but no breadsticks (which are supposed to come with it), appetizer and no pizza. When I asked for the pizza I was told that I could call the store. I asked the driver to call them. I asked that they send a fresh pizza and not the one that had been sitting. The driver returned with the old, cold pizza and some lady left a message on my phone telling me this. Very dissapointed in lack of customer consideration. Our favorite pizza! The crust and sauce is so good (actually, I think it's the best I've had anywhere), and they are generous with their toppings. Pasta isn't bad, either. My only constructive feedback would be that they need to upgrade the booths (ragged and no cushioning) and perhaps get some consistent help to keep on top of orders. Don't order through apps - they never make the pizza until after you get there, for whatever reason. Regardless of the seating and app issues, this is our go-to for pizza night. read more

Input my address on the website to see if delivery was available and it was, so I placed an order. Delivery ETA was an hour and after an hour and 15 minutes I called to confirm my order was received. They told me it was and hung up. Got a call 15 minutes later that my order was cancelled because I was outside the delivery area. My husband and I frequently order from Bella Roma In Maryville Tennessee. Several times recently the order has been less than expected in terms of quality and correctness of order. As an example, tonight we received 2 pizzas both which were bought a rope it's we're burnt around the edges Black. In addition, we ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake. Instead of cheesecake we received 2 pieces of Another type of dessert.. Each time things like this happen we are told when we call that the money will be corrected on the next time we Order. The gentleman that answered was heavily accented and difficult to understand. However he did for he did tell me he was not able to help me further.. I asked for the correct dessert to just be delivered. He said they were too .busy.. I asked to speak to the manager . He told me he would have to leave a message and was not sure when that person could call back could be tomorrow Or sometime in the future. Not sure I will ever deal with this company again.. We ordered the veggie deluxe pizza hand tossed. The crust was very good the problem was with the rest of the pizza had minimal sauce very scant toppings and if it had an ounce of cheese on it I would be very surprised. I understand a place has to make money you might want to try lowering your profit margins or just sell bread. This place also charges you more when you use credit card. read more
