I went up to the The lady working the desk( curly brown hair) she did not even great me and stared at me blankly she was EXTREMELY rude and snarky when I asked about the discount. She was very bitter and said people only come in once a year to get their discount and never comeback so they reduced the discount- person needs to be present and show a valid ID. I responded that's fine my birthday was last week and she seemed annoyed by me saying this. I was still going to purchase the item and possibly some sunglasses. But she acted like it was a chore to look up the price. I told her never mind. I didn't want to give my money to a business that does not care about politeness or customer service. Its the holidays after All, wouldn't had hurt her to be a little kind and smile. Will never be returning and advise no one else to if they are looking for a welcoming shopping experience.

The sales lady was very happy to go over the selection with whomever was on the phone. She described the strawberry shortcake birthday Jellycat and then offered to hold it for them behind the counter. Collectors know that when you're trying to hunt down the Jellycat (or Needoh or other item) salespeople are often tired of fielding so many questions about their stock. This woman could not have been sweeter. We will definitely come back to check out their unique selection of Jellycats the next time we're in town.

UC also had an unexpected variety of men's dress shoes, Doc Martin boots, and Vans shoes. Frequently thrift store shoes are beaten up, scuffed, and missing 1/3 of the sole from use.
